Footsteps followed Kiki onto the roof as Magnus's boots walked across the ground. He knelt down behind Kiki, reaching out his gloved index finger to catch Kiki's tear on the tip of it. "What was it about the demon that bothered you?" he asked, connecting the dots between her interacting with it and quickly leaving. He looked down at the tear on his finger, his arm still extended past Kiki as he stayed knelt behind her. He looked down at the tear on his index finger. He'd never expected a tear from Kiki. Though despite her tough exterior, he hadn't forgotten that she was still human inside. While most would be turned off by Kiki's abrasive nature, Magnus was not. He gave a small smile behind her even though she couldn't see it. "Or was it the fight?"

Magnus pulled his arm back and took off the glove on one of his hands, not replying to her first comment on the account of wanting to hear her next. He was silent for a moment after hearing her explanation of what happened to her mother. "When you first talked about your mother's death, you seemed glad for it," he reminded her. "Was that....because...you were glad the demon killed her....so you wouldn't have to?" He asked. It was definitely a gamble asking her something like that. Magnus could really piss her off if he was wrong. "And why do you want to purify everyone?" He stood up, his shadow falling over her. "What about me? Will I be purified too?"

Magnus thought for a moment when he heard Kiki's reply. "So...in the end, peace is your goal?" He asked her, slightly surprised. She hadn't seemed like the type to care for such things. He knelt down again behind her. I need to know if she's telling the truth... he thought. If this is who she truly is...what she really wants...I need to know. He placed his glove on his knee. "Purifying? Do you really think that'll bring peace? And how am I different?" He reached out slowly and pressed two of his fingers against the back of her neck, activating his ability.

Ability in use:

+Revelation: By touching someone, Magnus can hear in his mind the last thought that person had before he reached out and touched them. This is an active ability meaning it has to be activated and doesn't happen every time he touches someone. Magnus has to be touching the person's physical body with his own; it doesn't work if he just touches their clothes or something they're holding. This ability can only be used once every four posts. Unless the target has some kind of mental perception, they will be unaware that Magnus read their thought. This ability has a cool-down of four posts.
