"I suppose that is acceptable. Forgive me if I have been misinformed, but I was under the impression that ones blood does not flow as much if at all if they are one that feasts on blood alone." she said looking at Ali. This was meant only as her way of making sure it would be a fair competition. Knowing it would take only a moment for he to answer, she brushed her hands over her skirt a few times, as if dusting something off, but a moment later, her skirt and frilly top changed in to pants and a shirt, clothes that would be much more appropriate for one to be standing on their head with.

Hmm...you have a point, Amara cut one of your main arteries so i'll be a fair competition.* Cutting ones main arterie, atleast in a vampires case, caused the blood to pour out in a fast motion. Slower then that of a human but nevertheless it would provide a fair competition, Besides knowing Zivens kind nature, she'd probably heal Amara afterwards anyways.*

She could not help but laugh at this. So blunt and uncaring if meant to endure pain. "Brutal .. but thank you for taking this in to consideration."

Amara almost glared but simply sighed and took out one of her smaller daggers from her boot which she always slyly managed to pass through Ali's security with, along with a cloth. She grumbled in dissaproval as her large advantage in the competition was sliced away. Placing the knife on the main atery of her choice, she sliced it, her eye twitching with the slight pain, and quickly placed the cloth onto it but chose to ask before tieing it.
"Is it acceptable that i tie it now? Or do i have to wait untill after we've done? I would really hate to get my blood all over your floor..."
She said sarcastically with an impish grin.

"I see no harm in that." she said, nodding in approval.

"Right."
She said with a bit of a sigh, seeing the large splotch of blood forming on the white cloth. She folded the cloth over and wrapped it around the cloth properly before pulling it tight and tieing it. She had felt no real damage of the missing blood yet, but she knew that it would only be a short matter of time. She simply shrugged and looked at Ali.
"You have to do it too."

You're the ones competing, i have enough people to do my bidding for the moment.* Even if he did do it, he wouldn't keel over due to bloodloss. Afterall a body without vital organs didn't depend on blood, nonetheless the amount of blood within him did run through fake veins thnks to a small pump. But even so a cut to the "main arterie" wasn't fatal for him. Therefor giving him a large advantage and a pretty unfair one.* You may begin

She glared at him for a moment before mumbling under her breath in a harsh tone.
"He's going to get so much entertainment from this..."
Amara bent her knees and closed her eyes, placing her hands on the floor she swapped her weight from her feet to her hands and pushed onto her hands up into a neat handstand. Her eyes still closed, she let out a long breath and steadied her slightly shakey arms. It had been a long time since she had had to actaully balance on her head - handstands, flips, wheels, no problem... but she had not practiced her balancing in a while. Slowly, when she felt ready, she lowered her body by bending her arms untill her head was touching the ground, thus moving from a steady handstand into a neat headstand. A few seconds later, she began to feel the effects from the slit attery. She almost growled, but simply sighed. To waste no more time, she moved one hand off the ground and then the other, quickly extending them out straight at her sides at the exact same time to keep her balance. Amara's body shook a little but she quickly clenched and steadied it. She now had perfect balance.
"No 'accidentally' tapping me, Ali."

Inhaling deeply, she sat on the floor. A moment later, she lie flat on her back for a moment, breathing again for a moment before rolling herself forward, then rolling backwards, kicking her legs up in the air, balancing perfectly, fingertips resting just above the floor for a moment. "Are we allowed to keep our hands on the floor at all? Is it the act of being upside down or the act of balance with no hands?"

No hands* Ali answered back abit grumpy, he had afterall explained the rules just a few moments ago. Usualy he would give her a penalty for such stalling but not this time.

Amara stayed steady with her eyes closed and blocked out what they were muttering about so she did not lose her focus. She kept as still as possible, some might say that she was frozen in place - although she most definately was not. Her eyebrows furrowed a little as it because a little more difficult to concentrate; the loss of blood through the slice in her attery effecting her even more... more than she had hoped at all.

"My apologies for the confusion." she said softly, feeling ashamed for having misunderstood. Needing to concentrate, she closed her eyes. Balancing was not too difficult, despite the discomfort. However, what was difficult was to resist the impulse of using magic for anything, since she did not wish to lose this challenge. After a few moments, she found herself actually feeling bored. Needing distraction so she could continue concentrating and not wanting to get in to any discussions which could lead to greater distraction, she thought for a moment and conjured up a book she had been reading, which floated in mid air for a moment before twirling upside down and rested on the floor in front of her, just the right distance away for her to read.

* Ali smiled as he noticed how much more in control Ziven was rather then Amara, however he knew looks were deciving sometimes so naturaly he searched for any behaviour that would occur within one or two minutes. Such as wobbeling, quick flickering with ones eyes and the pain of having the head the place that held most of the weight of the entire body. Nevertheless it was means of disipline and knowing ones limitations, question was if they knew when to quit.*

Amara thought for a moment of ways that she could stop the rapid blood loss from her artery. It took her a few moments before she smiled, her eyebrows relaxing a little. She did not need to stop the blood flow, she just had to make sure she had enough blood pumping around her body to keep it straight and stable. She did not require much blood to survive, much like any vampire if they trained themselves not to need it. Amara had gone from one to four months without a single feed, even when she had been wounded.

Her eyes stayed closed and her face stayed relaxed. In a way, she felt soothed by the silence that she had created by blocking out any outside sounds.

There had been many positions that Ziven had meditated in before, one included hanging upside down from a tree. Though the sensation of being inverted was not pleasant, it was one that could be tolerated for some time. However the strength of her neck would soon begin to wane. She tried to ignore this, making the best of the situation.
