Claws would tear up the ground even as he took that hit against his body. The electricity crackling and popping as it ran through every pore of his body and finally the Cranidos would roar in his pain of it .....as he would drive his claws even deeper into the ground once more.
That one had hurt.
He was going to make sure that his attack hurt more as he charges forward with tackle.

Lunarsun Memories of Xemnas 1 Syliver answered," I shall ask for the tutorials first then the real battle begins....but know this, I will not give up". Syliver said with pride in his heart.
"Do not make mistakes ...the tutorial and the real battle are one and the same."
The voice told him ...even as two screens would drop from the ceiling. Blank and dark, there was nothing on them ....as the voice would declares again.
"First, before this battle can start, you need to do two things. First, call forth your pokemon ...so that it's stats will appear on the screen, and second, have that pokemon drink the potion."
At those words, it would shimmer into existences ....a potion of the brightest green hue ....in a flask as it bubbles and churns in the glass. The voice was waiting for him to compel, for the pokemon to be called forth and it's stats posted. Syliver had a smirk on his face as he grabs his pokeball,"Lets get the show on the Road!". Syliver threw the pokeball and a Tepig came out. "I shall be using my Tepig. Now Tepig I want you to drink the potion you see before you". Tepig walked up to the potion and drank it all up. "Alright he has drunk the potion just as you asked!". Tepig lvl:2/Brave Hp: 15 Pp: 17 Att: 7 Def: 7 Spd: 7 Sp Att: 7 Sp Def: 7 Moves: Tackle, Magnitude Exp: 0/100

((Yes I suppose I should have been clearer on that. Any move, regardless of what it does, constitutes an attack. Status Moves just don't do damage, instead leaving an Status Affliction or effecting Stats.))
(18 - 1) + (8 - 7) = 18 DMG
Jay HP: -3
Dozens of small Ember balls would sizzle as they flew through the air, pelting the Rufflet's feathered form in rapid succession. Again and again he small flaming orbs would strike the bird's body, until at last the bird's plumage would ignite. Fire would spread rapidly across the eaglet's body, blazing brightly before abruptly burning down to mere cinders.
Jay would strike the floor, his body lightly charred, but very much alive if the slow rise and fall of his chest were any indication.
Green eyes glinting, the Litwick would smirk dangerously as he looked upon his opponent. The bird had gotten in one good blow; but it would seem his was twice that. He knew why too. It was their resolution, the difference in their conviction. It was the same reason that even death could not claim him; why he continued to stand long after his flame should have petered out. Closing his eyes, the Litwik would utter in a calm voice "Requiescat in pace" Then abrupt as his victory, he would vanish.
"Hey waiter! I ordered my steak rare and bloody, this is well done! GYAHAHAHAHAHA!!!" The phantom voice would cackle loudly. It would seem that in a single moment Jake had lost his first battle...but it was not the end. "Go to the Pokemon Center and get your little budgie healed. The Academy believes in second chances...there won't be a third" The voice stated, speaking those last few words rather menacingly.
((Well that first battle is over, but there is still plenty more for me to teach you!))
((It's actually rather convenient that you rolled a 1, as that brings up the next part of the lesson. Critical Hits and Fumbles.))
((As you well know the highest and lowest point of the dice we use are 20 and 1. As such when you manage to roll these is bares significance upon the battle itself. When you roll a 20 it is called a Critical. The effect of which is that you will gain +1 to your Accuracy Roll during either your Attack or Defense turn, depending on when you rolled it, for the rest of the battle.))
((Opposite that, if you roll a 1 it's called a Fumble. A fumble results in -1 to your Accuracy Roll during either your Attack or Defense turn, depending on when you rolled it, for the rest of the battle.))
((Now for a biggie. Items. During a battle you can only use Items during your own Attack Turn. Now which items you can use should honestly be common sense. You cannot use a TM, HM, or attach a Held Item in the middle of battle. Obviously most Key Items cannot be used in the middle of a fight either.))
((Of course items you can use are the various healing items, berries, PokeBalls, etc....like said it should all basically be common sense.))
((Now then let's get down to everyone's favourite topic, Catching Pokemon! To catch a Pokemon you will need 3 things. A Pokemon, a PokeBall, and for it to be your Attack Turn. If you couldn't figure that one out....go visit the Wizard of Oz and ask for a Brain please.))
((To actually catch a Pokemon you will need to throw a PokeBall and roll 1D20. This is called a Capture Roll. You see each wild Pokemon will have a Capture Rate, a number you must roll at or higher to successfully capture the Pokemon. This number will of course decrease by lowering your opponent's HP.))
((For example. Say that the Pokemon's capture rate was 10+. This means you would me that you need to roll a 10, or HIGHER to successfully capture the Pokemon. In the event that you roll below the Capture Rate, the capture will fail and the PokeBall will break.))
((Any questions?))

The pokemon's stats shocked up as another set of stats would appear. It was stats that belong to one of the biggest demons of this battle arena as it's body would coil around it's head, and it's dagger like tail would slide from one side to the other in a lazy motion like a knife user waving the blade around. The fork tongue would glide easily out of it's mouth ...as this pokemon like the bottle before had just shimmered out of on where as those slitted eyes would fall upon her opponent as she showed off her wickedly long fangs with a smile.
She was ready to go as well as the voice would declares back to them.
"Next step, you see the stats above you." "Well it determines the battle turns, the fastest strikes first, while the slower pokemon would do best to defend." "Defending is quite a simple process, you simply tell your pokemon to defend in a way that is best for them ...but always without using a move. It might confuse the pokemon to attack and if they do ....well the end results have taken a few weeks to clean off of the mat."
The voice declares sounding completely detached from the situation. Uncaring, unfeeling, there was still no emotions to deal with ...with each word that it spoke and then it would go silent.
The Seviper's eyes would seem to glow as it seemed to understand what that meant and without any warning it would strike. It's maw opening wide as the darkness radiated off of it scales would seem to creep into its fang as it formed a ball of nothing but darkness in his maw ......shaking once she would close her maw crushing it ...as a pulse of pure darkness would spread from that point aiming to hit Tepig head on with it's full force ...as it went out from in a circular wave, Dark Pulse.
Seviper (f) lvl:2/Naive Hp: 15 Pp: 19 Att: 9 Def; 8 Spd: 8 Sp Att: 8 Sp Def; 7 moves: Wrap, Dark Pulse Exp to be gained: 100
(And somehow I miss this, anyway, to attack or in your case defend, you need to roll a dice. This is called your accuracy roll, an attack can only hit if it's higher than the defensive roll. If they are the same, the defense wins. Now to find the dice roll, you need to go to post action and from there set it to 1 dice 20 sideded. Good luck)

It would work as the Dark pulse would hit the spot the Tepig was in moments before ....blasting hard enough that it would actually leave a smug of darkness in the mat.
The Seiviper's head would followed the small pig as she flicks her tongue in and out. But, seems to remain quite still waiting, watching, for the attack that she would have to avoid next as she hisses lightly as those eyes never left her target ...not even once.
"Good, you have managed to dodge, and now it's your turn to attack. Choose a move, and call it out for your pokemon to use."
"Depending on your pokemon's accuracy will determine if that move hits or not."
(Once more, use the dice roll, if it's higher then my defensive roll your pokemon's attack will hit.)

(Okay to figure out damage is quite simple.
First, you subtract the differences between the two attacks.
In this case it's 17 - 6 = 11
Then next, you figure out the differences between the attack and defense stats. Though in this case, Magnitude is a special attack, so it uses the Sp. attack stats and the sp. defense stats instead.
7 - 7 = 0
So it's 11 dmg, but thanks to Seiviper's weakness to ground type moves it's x2 = 22dmg)
hp: - 7 (If a pokemon's hp drops below -7, the pokemon dies, pleas stay aware of that)
The match would end in a single hit as the magnitude catches the Seviper in a powerful grip. The pokemon being shaken from her head to her teeth as she was sent violent to the ground ....with enough force to actually crack the pokemon's skull as the Seviper lays out on the ground ..unconscious.
The match was now over.
And not only had the Tepig gain experience from the fight, but strength as well.
(For future references, you can find all your moves and information about moves in the Information section right underneath the Auditorum post) Tepig gains a level.
Tepig lvl:3/Brave Hp: 17 Pp: 18 Att: 9 Def: 8 Spd: 7 Sp Att; 8 Sp Def: 8 Moves: Tackle, Magnitude Exp: 0/200
With that over, the voice would chime in as the snake hit the ground in a jumbo of coils. A red light appearing from the ceiling as it was recalled back to wherever it had come from as the voice declares still with no emotion.
"Congratulations, you have successfully past the test. You are an official member of the strike team, and now, you need to return to the auditorium to finish your process of registering for your class."
It would seem that everything was finally done.

Michael watched as a boy run out with a pokemon happily as if he won a battle. " I guess there is spot open?" He said to himself, almost prepared to start his journey as a pokemon trainer.

(Yeah, just a couple. I took a brief look at the Beginner Island thread, and was wondering how the cave times and wild battles worked.) He knew this wasn't the right time to do this since his Pokemon was hurt, but this moment, with the small balls of Ember flying through the air and hitting his Rufflet dead on...the movement of the fire, Jay's body falling to the floor, and the Litwick smirking in triumph at it's victory. It was so dramatic he couldn't help but smile. Special moments like these always turned out to become good events that would only strive both Trainer and Pokemon to work harder. Jake tuned out the loud noise of the mysterious voice, not wanting anything to ruin this memory of his, and picked up his little Rufflet into his arms. The bird rested upon his chest, unconscious, and though he was mostly charred up and probably sore, he was obviously fine since he was still breathing.
As he walked out of the weird room that was apparently consumed by darkness, Jake thought about the battle he had just lost. He had mixed feelings about it. On one hand, he was sad about not passing the initiation test on the first try, and that his Rufflet had gotten hurt, but on the other hand his usual sense of calmness was there. The calm side had more qualities on why losing wasn't so bad. One being the fact he had gained another memory he could always look back on with a lesson learned, while another was that he had only taken the Tutorial of the initiation test and not actually the real thing, at least that's what he knew of it. Elias smiled as the bolts hit, but he had to be quick to more commands because Cranidos was already charging at Emogla. "Emogla! Fly into the air! Cranidos can't hit you if you get high enough!"
Emogla did as he was told, jumping high into the air, hoping to avoid the attack completely.

The voice could say nothing as the boy left. Though the word master was a bit confusing as it would change it's target as another boy step in to replace the other ....
"Welcome to the battle arena." "Here you will be taking your final test to determine whether or not you are worthy of your place in this academy."
It would tell him, a voice that was connected with nothing, but seemed to be everywhere at once. A voice that was a monotone and boring as it possible could be.
"Now, tell me, will you take the tutorials or dive straight into the battle?"
It was now waiting for an answer from Michael.

(16 - 2 + 9 - 8 = 15dmg)
Hp: - 3
The match would end then ....as the Cranidos head would catch the Emogla in midleap. The tackle continuing forward as the pokemon would be forced into the wall .....with a sicken thud. A Cranidos's head is known for it's hardness, so as he step away and allowed the Emolga to fall to the ground ...out cold ....was just a testament to that power.
This match was over with the pokemon fainted.
"Sorry," the voice would chime in.
"You have lost, head, to the academy to get your pokemon healed at the pokemon center and return for you second and last try."
The voice would declare as a burst of light would recall the pokemon back to it's pokeball. Though, where that light had come from ....no one could really see except that it came from the ceiling.
(Just for future references, but if a pokemon's hp drops below -7, that pokemon will be dead. That means, you lose that pokemon permanently and you can't recover it for future battles or any more interactions with that pokemon.)
