Aria liked Victoria's suggestions. "Well, as I'm always up for anything, I don't really mind what we do." She then whispered to Dante, while laughing a bit: He doesn't really like you. But can you blame him, you did attack him. She smiled and then layed on Daren, waiting for the verdict on what they were going to do. She also poked Daren's face playfully. "You're unusually quiet." she smirked.

Dante smiled. He whispered to Aria, with a slight laugh, "Can you blame me? He's a punk. I'll try to lighten up a bit on him." Dante stood up and stretched. He took his keys out of his pocket and tossed them into Daren's lap. "Since you were in here to hear the idea, then you can drive. You do have your license right?" Dante asked him as he closed the blinds and curtains on the front windows. He turned back around and looked at Daren. He hoped by being more friendly and offering him this opportunity, he would lighten up a bit and become less angry with Dante, but he wasn't sure and all Dante could do was hope. After catching a glimpse at him and smiling he went and sat next to Victoria and put his arm around her.

Victoria was surprised more than anything when Dante gave his keys to Daren. She knew that he hated anyone else driving his car, and he was protective of it. She thought that they both hated each other anyway, so why give it to him? She pondered on this but quickly forgot about it when Dante came over and sat by her, putting his arm around her casually. Her eyes lit up with happiness when he did, and she grew red when she saw the look Daren gave her. She turned away and glanced up at Dante, smiling at him. She was somehow relaxed, and his arm was warm against her shoulders. It didn't feel bad at all, and she knew she had more feelings for Dante than she was willing to admit. Victoria took a deep breath and glanced at Aria, nodding when she said she didn't mind where they went. "I don't have any more ideas, so..Dante? Do you have anything that we could do?" She bit her lip and stared down at the floor again, hoping he would suggest something and put the attention off of her for a moment. Daren frowned when he heard Aria laugh at something Dante had said to her. He didn't like it, not one bit. He opened his mouth, about to say something and ruin everything, when he saw Dante get up and take something out of his pocket, tossing them into his lap. Curious to see what it was, he forgot his thoughts and picked it up, his eyes widening when he saw the keys in his hand. Confused more than ever by this gesture from Dante, he glanced up and gave him a questioning look. He listened, and nodded eagerly when Dante asked if he had a license. Dante did have the perfect car, and it was in good shape, too. He couldn't help but wonder where the guy got the money, but decided he really didn't care. He was shocked that he would give him the keys to his car, and he glanced over at him, seeing that he was sitting by Victoria now and had put his arm around her. He gave Victoria a weird stare, but turned to Dante again and smiled a very small, thankful grin. "Thanks," he said clearly, but was still trying to come up with a reason why he would let him drive his car after all that had happened between them. He still didn't like the guy, but he didn't want to kill him, either. He tightened his grip on the keys, and looked over at Aria when she commented on his quietness. He laughed calmly when she poked his face and said, "Yeah, I guess I just am thinking too much, that's all." He gave her a loving grin and looked down at the keys again, twirling them on his finger.

Dante nodded at the guy. Dante plan seemed to do the trick...for the most part. Even though he knew Daren still didn't like him, and he didn't like Daren, he figured he could at least give it a try for Aria. "Just don't kill us now." Dante laughed a little and said it in a joking manner. He could tell that Victoria was struggling a little and want the attention off of her. He could tell that she wasn't used to making decisions for a whole group. "Let's just go to the bowling alley. It's probably the only place that I haven't been to in a while." Dante told them. He looked at Aria and Daren to see if that was fine with them. He began to make sure he had all the basic necessities in his pocket. Everything was in their right place, so he stood up, "Shall we go then?", and he started to make his way to the door.

"I guess we shall." Aria replied. She stood and pulled her shirt down; it was a smidge to big so it bunched when she sat. She then held out her hand for Daren to hold. "Maybe us girls should sit in the back, and you guys should get cozy in the front." It was true, she was trying to make Daren and Dante either more uneasy or more friendly. However, she didn't know how Victoria would take this idea.

Victoria brightened when he mentioned the bowling alley, and nodded eagerly. "Sounds fun," She said, smiling at Dante in a way of thanks. She followed a few inches after him, but waited at the front door for Aria and Daren. When they came up, she heard what Aria said about the seating arrangements, and her expression turned to disappointment and confusion. The disappointment was because she was really hoping that she could sit by Dante and speak to him; the confusion was because she felt that Aria would have wanted to sit by Daren. After all, they liked each other right? Why not sit by each other then? She directed her attention to Aria, giving her a 'what for' look. But she bit her lip and slowly nodded. "O-oh. Okay. That sounds fine." She forced them a grin and turned back to Dante, glancing up at him. She gave him a sweet smile, her eyes searching his face. "Is that alright, Dante?" She asked him innocently, wondering what Aria was up to. Daren followed Aria, liking the idea of bowling. It wasn't his favorite, but it would be fun with her, he thought hopefully. He grinned, smirking when he saw Aria pull her shirt down once she got up. He took her hand and squeezed it, directing his smile towards her. But he stopped when she mentioned him sitting in the front with Dante. He raised his eyebrows at her, trying to think why she would say that. "I thought you would want to sit by me. I really don't want to.." He paused and glanced towards Dante, not bothering to finish his sentence. He sighed, wanting to make Aria happy. "Okay, whatever. I guess you can sit with Victoria then." He glanced at Victoria, who didn't look too happy about the arrangement either. He gave Aria a 'why are you doing this to me' look and sighed, loosening his hold on her hand.

Aria sighed, noticing the looks she received from both Victoria and Daren. "It was just a suggestion. I don't wanna make anyone uncomfortable." The last statement wasn't completely true, as Aria was pretty sure making others uncomfortable had become a pastime for her. She smiled and squeezed Daren's hand before sitting in the passenger's seat. Obviously Daren knew how to drive, she just hoped he was a good driver. She felt her phone vibrate and realized she'd received a text. It was from an unknown number and read:
I want to talk to you. -Veto
Aria tensed slightly and her face had a slight disgusted look. She quickly regained her composure and slipped the phone back into her pocket without replying.

Dante pushed the driver seat up and climbed through the door. Not trying to squish Daren against the steering wheel, he barely climbed through, and sat behind him. He placed his hand next to Victoria's and inched it closer and closer to hers. He noticed Aria taking her phone out of her pocket and looking at it. "Don't tell me your parents want you home." Dante said as he tried to take a peak at the message. He could see Aria's face change and sat back in the seat. "Sorry." Dante said and put his hand back. He reached around and patted Daren on the shoulder. "There's a trick with these older cars. When you go to back up, it'll want to stall because it's a stick, so make sure you're ready. Oh and don't punch on it right away unless you have too. There's a lot of power under that hood and it'll take control if you're not expecting it." He put his other hand back on the side of the car next to the window. He looked over at Victoria and smiled, as he finally placed his hand lightly on hers, making sure that it was okay with her.

Victoria's face lit up with a smile as she tried not to laugh out loud at Aria's expression. She was going to apologize for making it such a big deal, but saw that she was already getting in the car in the front seat. She shrugged but didn't object at all, getting on the other side of Dante in the back, and closing her door. She turned her head to stare at him for a moment, seeing him giving instructions to Daren, who seemed to be a bit nervous. She waited until he was done to say, "Please don't wreck the car." She bit her lip, anxious herself now. She hated riding in cars, because she was always frightened they would have a car crash, just like her own parents did. Victoria took a deep breath and somehow calmed herself down just enough to grin at Dante, who smiled back. She hadn't noticed his hand coming closer to hers until she felt it on top, and she glanced down at it, instantly feeling her cheeks flush. She didn't move it away, liking the way his hands warmed up her own. She saw the way he was asking permission, and nodded, trying not to seem too eager. But instead of letting him do it, she just took his hand in her own, staring into his eyes for a moment before glancing away and up to the front again, where Daren was struggling with getting the car to start. She stifled a laugh with her free hand, thinking it was rather funny he was fumbling so much. Daren got in the driver's seat, relieved that it was Aria who got in the front with him. He listened to Dante's instructions, trying not to get too irritated by the way he was laying them out. He felt Aria squeeze his hand and he gave her a small smile before letting her hand go so he could drive the car more easily. He put one hand on the wheel and used the other to insert the keys into the ignition, waiting a moment to start it. He heard Victoria call from the back to not wreck the car, and he rolled his eyes. He wasn't stupid, so why were they treating him like it? "I know, I know. Don't lost your pants." He said it in an annoyed tone, but didn't dare look back to see what expression Dante had on. Victoria was sensitive, and by now you would have to be dumber than a rock to not see they had a thing going on. He could tell Dante would protect the girl no matter what the cost. He gave one more glance at Aria, who was taking a look at her phone. He was about to start the car when he noticed the face she had on, and he frowned. "Is everything alright?" He asked her, as she put the cell phone back in her pocket without responding. He didn't want to be too nosy, but he did worry about her. He waited so he wouldn't get distracted driving.

Aria stared out of the window. "I'm alright." she said for both Dante and Daren to hear. She let out a small laugh when Victoria told Daren not to wreck the car, but she hoped Daren hadn't heard her. She rolled down her window and rested her arm outsid of it. What was she going to do about Veto?

Dante noticed the car was about to stall, but Daren kept it going thankfully, so he loosened up in ease. Don't let me down Daren. Dante thought as he felt Victoria's hand intertwine with his. He soon softened up and felt at peace. He enjoyed being in Victoria's company and he enjoyed it even more knowing that Victoria was like putty in his hands. He was working at changing his mindset, trying to keep himself from breaking her heart, but it wasn't coming easy...especially with that kind of thinking. He knew even if he tried his old tricks, she wouldn't give in that easy, because of her thick shell under the soft layer of skin. Dante would eventually get what he wanted even if that took finding it somewhere else. He pondered over in her direction, catching the glimpse of her eyes, but didn't give her what she wanted. He had been playing easy this whole time, but now he wanted her to work for the Dante charm. He teased her a little bit, offering her glimpses of hope, but kept his cool. He put his arm around the middle of her back without acting like he realized what he was doing. "Come on Aria. Your face gave it away." Dante was silent for a moment. "If you don't want to say it aloud text me it." He closed his mouth and sat in silence, and pulled Victoria towards him slightly, as he gazed out of the window on her side.

Aria shifted in her seat and looked from Dante to Daren. She didn't want Dante to get pissed off and she didn't want Daren to worry and get pissed off. "It was.....it was nothing dude, just let it go." She left it at that and stared out of the window again. There was no way she'd tell those two about this. She'd handle it by herself, later.

Dante sensed that Aria was maybe hiding something from him. He wasn't sure what it was, but had a feeling that it would either make or break his mood. Not wanting Daren to get distracted nor Victoria become worried, Dante took out his phone and sent Aria a message, hoping that it would work.
"I can't let it go when I know something is wrong. I think we both know I'm persistent."
He sent the message and looked over at Victoria, arm still wrapped around her, and loving every moment of that. Soon the moment would be gone, but he could at least keep what he had while he had it.

Victoria smiled at Dante when she noticed him giving her hopeful gazes, and she blushed when he put his arm around her. She wondered what game was playing at when he continued talking to Aria, not even looking at her, and then staring out the opposite side. She raised her eyebrows, trying to think what would make him pay attention to her again. She decided to act in his play and felt him pull her closer to him. She met his eyes once again when he finally looked at her, and she slowly and carefully rested her head on his shoulder, feigning a yawn. She hoped it would work, and he wouldn't move away. She wasn't sure exactly what she was doing, but clearly she was winging it. Daren rolled his eyes when Aria said that she was alright. Clearly it wasn't, but he really didn't want to push it like Dante was; he knew Aria had a temper on her. He sighed and decided to just drive, because he didn't want to get an argument with her, it wasn't worth it. If she wanted to say it was fine, then so be it. He took one more glance at her, blew out a breath, and made sure the car was warmed up before carefully backing out. I'm doing it! I'm driving a stick shift, he thought excitedly. He watched the road behind him as he backed out, not wanting to run into anyone. When he was into the street, he put the car in first gear before gently pressing the gas pedal. He frowned, realizing he was driving so slow they probably weren't even going five miles an hour. He sped up a bit, and glanced up at the mirror to see into the back, where he saw Victoria and Dante making googly-eyes at each other. He refrained from making a face and spoke up. "Hey, Dante. I don't really know where to turn and everything. Do you think you can guide me along every so blocks so I know where to go?"

A small smile hinted at Aria's lips when Daren asked for directions. "You can speed up a little more you know. Even the elderlies are driving faster." She smiled widely now, and then glanced at the text from Dante. She sighed and sent back: Dude seriously. I'm not trying to ruin your day. Maybe he would get enough info from that to know to just let it go for now.
