Sonic tilted his head in confusion but he started to tip toe away.

jewle sniffles rubbing her eyes with her good arm not turning around to look at shadow " what do you want now...." jewels ears drop as she frowns though shadow can't see it

jewel just looks down at the floor " being mean to others who are trying to be nice to you and help you when your hurt is one way of bieng a heartless creature...." jewel said standing in the middle of the hall " why can't you just let people help you... insted of pushing everyone away..."jewel sniffles a little " if you don't want to be heartless then learn to accept help form others whgen they are only trying to help you heal"

"He's known to be that way for years." Sonic chuckled, "He always hated getting any help... It's always the 'I'm strong, I don't need anyone's support' type of 'tude."

"..." Shadow looked away, "Very well..." He said, trying to stand up. Once he did, he was stopped by the doctor.
"Well it's good that you're up and feeling well." The doctor smiled and looked at Sonic, "I believe it's fine that he gets a room as well."
"Uh... but I gotta ask Sal if she is ok with that." Sonic shrugged.
"Knowing her, she will be cursing her lungs out and refusing to give Shadow a place to stay. Give him a room to rest in." The doctor then handed a pair of crutches to Shadow, "Use these to walk."

jewel frowns a little " I would say stay with me... but where I was put doesn't like shadow.... or other slaves like myself...you can even ask tail's...."

jewels ears go down looking at sonic giving sonic a sad look. " ...at least I can keep an eye on him... and make sure none of those bullies beat him up any more..then he is already..."
