Lock sighed and lifted Niji onto his lap, watching them walk away. "Ellery, can't we-"
"Fredrich is right. I'm going to walk back to my hotel. Goodbye you both." With a nod, Ellery followed after the child and his carrier, stopping just a ways away from the car. "So, where are you planning on taking him?" asked the thin man as the child stirred in Fredrich's arms.

Curling into Lock as she changed back into a human, Niji gave a sniff and rubbed her eyes. "n-nii-san?" she mumbled, hugging him close. "d-did ellie mean what he said about me?"

"C'mon, let's get out of this bad funk. Now that I'm out, we can do whatever. You hungry? Want to head to a store? Oh, I heard the carnival's here?"

The brunette nodded at him and turned to make his way to the car when a thought occurred. "I know the perfect place to go." he breathed and turned again to looked at Lock, smiling brightly with glimmering blue eyes. "I want you to see my hometown." he breathed. "It's got a small town charm, I'm sure you'll love it."

Practically on the verge of bursting with excitement, he grabbed Lock's arm and pulled him with him through the portal.

Cameron West "Yeah, there's just something magical about it, huh?" Cameron snickered, though his cyan eyes stayed on Liam. Hospitals were a big weakness for him, there was always blood and/or something sharp around the corner. The smell alone made him smile, but if he saw enough blood...
"They should be here any second." he mused and ran a hand through his gray-brown hair as he stood a few feet away from the front desk. "Eh, maybe they're telling Freddy goodbye or something."
