(((Something really weird happened to this post, this actually happens on page 65...I don't know where this post went...))) ((Initiating time skip! 8D ))
It had been two weeks since Dimitri had kissed Maria on the sidewalk, Arielle's recovery had come along well and she was practically as good as new. Kedrick had, of course, worried and fretted about her the entire time. Dimitri and Maria had gotten together several times in the past two weeks though nether could quite admit that it was a date yet. Now it was Saturday morning, and the barbeque had been carefully planed for that afternoon, and the sun had come up on Kedrick's estate.
Kedrick murmured softly under his breath, rolling over, his arm across his face. He sighed softly, the light seeping through his eyelids. He blinked, opening his eyes and moving his arm. A small smile touched his lips as he remember all the wonderful things they had planed for today.
He sat up and fumbled for his T-shirt, tugging it clumsily over his head. Kedrick stood up, walking to the door to his room and pushing to open walking down the hall. He paused, looking into Arielle's room to see if she was awake yet. "Good morning." He said softly.
    By your side...

Arielle Shore
Arielle smiled a relieved smile and felt proud that Kedrick approved. "You're welcome, Kedrick," Arielle said as she gently squeezed his fingers in return. As he stood up, Arielle was looking at the little mess of hair that had fallen during Kedrick's hair. When he mentioned the broom, she nodded and went over to said corner so that hey could clean up.
When they finished, Arielle was about to joke about doing some bit of housework, but thought that wasn't really necessary. When he mentioned about calling Dimitri, she nodded and let him do what he needed to do while she went to the bathroom to return the box.

♟♞ ♝ ♜ ♛ Ҝәɖʁϊϲҝ Ś. Śűѿą & Ďȋɱȋŧʁȋ Ĵ. ᾟűηŧȇʁ ♛ ♜ ♝ ♞ ♟ Kedrick let his mind wander as he listened to the phone ring, over and over again, and he began to stop expecting an answer. So he jumped, startled when the ringing stopped and silence filled the other end. "Dimitri?" Kedrick asked experimentally, not sure weather Dimitri was there, or if the phone had just cut out. "Dem? Are you there?" He asked, still prompting for an answer. "I'm here. talk." Dimitri said coldly. The young man was back in his apartment, laying on the bed, staring at the ceiling, feeling chilled despite the heating that was running full blast. Kedrick smiled slightly. "Glad you picked up." He said gently. "I was beginning to think you'd leave me sitting here all night without an answer." "If that's what you called to say then hang up." Dimitri said sharply. Kedrick sighed softly. Dimitri's cold words stung, but he felt that his friend deserved to let loose a little frustration, he had done his part already. "Look, Dimitri, I called to apologize...I want to make things right because I screwed up big time." Dimitri snorted, sitting up in disgust. "You've got that right, Do you know haw scared I was that she found out because of you?" He demanded. Just talking about it brought up old feelings of sickened fear. "Yeah, I know, I know, I shouldn't have pushed you the way I did, it was wrong of me, and I'm asking you to forgive me." He said ernistly, sitting up slightly on the couch so he was propped up on one elbow. He was met by a cold, uncomfortable silence. Kedrick shifted slightly, afraid that Dimitri might not forgive him after all. Dimitri found it difficult to stay mad at Kedrick, but that didn't mean he couldn't do it.Dimitri stood up, pacing the room, his mind churning full of every reason why he shouldn't fogive him, but he kept looping back to one thing. Kedrick was his best friend in the whole world. He had, in essence, saved him, where otherwise he wouldn't have been able to take life much longer. Dimitri sighed, frustrated, finally flopping back down on his bed. "Alright...I- I forgive you...I'm sorry I was such a.." He faltered slightly, know Kedrick didn't approve of swearing. "Uh...sorry..." He trailled of awkwardly, rubbing the back of his neck.Kedrick smiled, relief flooding him. "S'okay, we were both a little tightly wound." He said with a soft laugh. "Listen, I've got to go, I need to help Arielle with some clean up okay?" Kedrick smiled fondly. "Love you buddy, sleep tight." He said. Dimitri smirked dryly. "Yeah okay, you too. G'night." He said, clicking the phone shut. Dimitri smiled at the ceiling, suddenly feeling better, maybe it was still a good night after all, and he had tomorrow to think about and his meeting with Maria. The dark haired boy rolled over onto his stomach, whether it had been during an argument or not, what Kedrick said had made sense. If he really cared about Maria, he should tell her the truth. An invoulentary shiver ran up his spine at the thought. Wouldn't telling Maria be just like re-living it? And on the off chance that she didn't freak out and hate his guts, what then? Wouldn't she be uncomfortable around him? What relationship needed that kind of a strain on it? Dimitri sighed softly, dropping the phone unceremoniously on the night stand. Dimitri had been very happy in his protected bubble of denial, trying to forget what had happened, refusing to acknowledge it, maybe he could be comfortable for a little bit longer as he gathered his nerve. Kedrick walked back into the kitchen, the phone dangling loosely from his fingers. "That...actually went better than I had expected." He said with a smile, watching her sweep the floor. Quite suddenly, his eyebrows shot into his hairline and he ran over."What do you think you're doing?" He demanded with a smirk, snagging the broom from her. " I know I told you to get that but what do you mean by working?" He asked in mock-disbeleife.

Arielle Shore
While Kedrick was on the phone, Arielle was able to place the box with the hair cutting supplies back to where she remembered Kedrick pulling them out from. After that was done, she walked back into the kitchen and noticed that she had somehow missed something on the floor. Picking up the broom, she had started sweeping at it, realizing that it was some missing hair that gone astray for some very odd reason. With a sigh, she started sweeping again, making a small pile when Kedrick came in. She didn't know how close he was until he ran up to her and started messing with her about sweeping. She giggled and could only shrug her shoulders as if she saw no harm in it.
"Was I really working?" Arielle asked in her own playfully mocking tone, as if she was surprised that she was doing such a thing, "I thought I was dancing with the broom. It promised me to a waltz."

Kedrick snorted in mock-disgust, his hands on his hips, a playful scowl flickering across his features. "Well." He said hotly, stalking over. "I don't appreciate the broom cutting in on my girlfriend. I'll dance with you." He said with a smile, suddenly taking her hands and spinning her gently before drawing her in and placing his hand on her waist, his other hand holding hers. Kedrick smiled delightedly, he slipped one hand free, reaching back and clicking on the radio for effect. A pretty piano piece began to play, and he dipped her down low, smiling at her. "I hope this is all okay with you." He said teasingly, knowing it would be perfectly alright.

Arielle Shore
Arielle couldn't help but giggle at how silly they were acting, but she knew it was just what they needed. Plus, why not end such a relaxing evening with a moment like this. After the spin, Arielle couldn't help but smile brightly her heart racing and lovesick thoughts running through her mind. She could tell that the mood around them was just bright and cheerful. She looked into his eyes when he dipped her, the music filling the room and making the atmosphere even better, and she couldn't help but think that his hair cut really did look good right then. "Oh no," she said with a loving smile, "This is just perfect."

Arielle Shore
"It sounds like a fun song," Arielle said with a smile, immediately enjoying the sound of the tune. She wondered if it was coincidence that a song with so much spirit happened to play when the two of them were in such happy spirits. She followed along with Kedrick's foot movements as he sped up to match the speed of the song. A song like Jump was one she could just randomly dance to and, well, jump around to in joy. Yet the fast waltz made it much more enjoyable. She felt like she could do this all night. Just her and him. No one to ruin anything or interrupt them. And she definitely knew for a fact that her smile would never fade when she was around Kedrick.

Arielle Shore
As the song ended, Arielle still wished she could dance for just a bit longer. She did however notice that one piece of hair that managed to be out of place from all of the dancing. Had Kedrick not gently moved it away from the front of her face, she probably would've tried blowing it away, which would have been very comical. She looked at him in curiosity when he started talking, only to smile again. She looked down at herself, making sure no harm had come to the stitches in her stomach before smiling back at him. "Don't worry, it's all clear," Arielle said with a smile before yawning, "But I do think it's time I made a wonderful appointment with my bed."

Arielle Shore
"You can't miss school forever," Arielle said, realizing that they had all missed school today on the account of what had happened. Even she didn't like the fact that she couldn't go back to school for awhile, but it was too soon to go back now. Maybe a day or two off from school would be fine for her, but as of now, she didn't want to deal with any of her peers if what had happened appeared in the news or the newspaper. She held onto Kedrick's hand when he took hers, walking up the steps until they reached her bedroom door. A gentle smile appeared on her face as he kissed her forehead goodnight, nodding when Kedrick asked his question. "Don't you worry," Arielle said with a smile, "I'll be a good little girl and not do anything that'll worry you. Alright?"

"Alright then, I won't worry." He said, smiling fondly at her. "Good night then, I'll see you in the morning before school..." Kedrick stepped back away from her not really wanting to leave but know that it was late and they could both use some sleep. He walked down the hallway to the door to his own room, pausing there and glancing back at her. Kedrick smiled warmly at her, waving slightly before stepping into his room. With a sigh, Kedrick closed the door, changing into a white tank-top and loose dark blue shorts that came down to his knees. Kedrick fumbled for the light switch a moment and soon flopped down on his bed in the darkness. He curled up on his side, drawing the blankets tightly over his shoulder. Kedrick still didn't really want to got to school in the morning, but he knew Arielle would insist, so there was not reason to loose sleep over it.

Arielle Shore
"Good night, Kedrick. Sweet dreams," she said with a warm smile as Kedrick stepped back. She watched as he walked down the hallway before going into her room. Before she could enter her room, she noticed Kedrick smiling at her and waving before he went into his room. She smiled back, leaning against her door with a small wave despite the fact that he was no longer there. After a couple of seconds, she entered her room and closed the door gently, turning her light off and laying down in her bed. She stared at her ceiling, once again feeling relieved to be home. She closed her eyes, wondering what exactly she would do that day before finally drifting off to sleep, not a single idea forming in her mind.

Kedrick sat in class, his chin rested on his desk as he half listened to the teacher. Usually, Kedrick was a very attentive student, his grades were slightly above average. But today, Kedrick had been able to do nothing but worry about how Arielle was doing at home without him. Like Arielle, he knew that there would be stories on the news about what had happened over the weekend. Arielle and Jonesy, of course, would be the center of the story, but he was sure he had been mention because he had gotten a few curious stares on his way down the halls this morning. As far as how people responded to him in the school Kedrick was usually rather discreet, preferring to spend time with Dimitri and one or two other rather than large social groups. He looked across the class room and Dimitri. The dark haired boy seemed to be paying even less attention that Kedrick, but he caught his eye none the less. Dimitri looked over at Kedrick. The two of them had talked in the hallway before class, almost as though to check that everything really was okay between them although there was no mention of their fight. He smiled, twitching his fingers slightly on the desk, as he tuned out the teacher. Dimitri knew his grades where bad, Kedrick had helped him a bit with that but he didn't have much time now anymore. Dimitri vaguely wondered if Maria would make a suitable tutor. Finally the bell rang and Dimitri sat up, trying to make himself alert again. Kedrick jogged across the room to him. "So...did you pay attention at all?" He asked, with a slight frown. "Nah, when do I ever?" Dimitri asked carelessly, resting his arms behind his head. "Hey, Kedrick, I'd love to chat, but I have to set up an appointment and you have to get back to lady fair." He said with a smirk. "True..." Kedrick said, nodding his head."Okay, I'll see you later." He said with a smile, patting Dimitri's shoulder before heading out of the class room."Say 'hi' to Arielle for me!" He called after him. After a moments pause, Dimitri turned around, finally spotting out his target. He strolled across the class room to a girl with ash-blond hair. She was very thin and willowy, with pale skin and a heart shaped face. Her hair fell down to about the middle of her back. "Good morning." Dimitri said with a smirk.
This girl jumped slightly, looking up in surprised and almost dropping her books. "G-good morning." She stammered uncertainly, shifting slightly from one foot to another. "It's Dimitri right?" She asked quietly.
Dimitri nodded his head. "Right. And you're Prim if I'm not mistaken." He said with a smirk as the girl nodded her confirmation. "Alright then Prim," Dimitri said, sitting on her desk. "I need you're help."
