Hunter Quesada Well I defenely dislike the new sistems I can see why you say that. It doesn't really compare the the 90's when i dare say gaming was at it's best, especially around the turn of the millennium. While we have our Halo Reach and our Gears of War and Fables (btw, I don't like Fable), can't it really compare to Super Mario 64, the first fully voice Metal Gear, and GTA III.

The 90's were the best in all aspects...Yes that's even including music, though none of my favorite bands came out during the 90's lol. But you had people like Savage Garden...and dare I say...the boy band crazy, and Britney Spears before she went psycho lol.
we had the shows like Batman The Animated Series, Spider-man, X-Men, Savage Dragon, Double Dragon, Mighty Max ect ect....and Power Rangers! ^_^
Animation was at it's best, Cartoons had integrity, and wasn't just after making a cheap buck, and the voice over actors actually had a range of voices, instead of that same old same old that we seem to have these days. nothing will ever compare to Mario kart 64, super Mario 64, The Legend of Zelda: Ocarina of Time, Pokemon, and all the beloved titles that have lasted the turn of the century.
The 90's also ushered in the greatest of all Street Fighter Games, well, the most popular that featured a range of playable and memorable characters, Street Fighter II (Special Champion Edition, and Hyper Street Fighter too lol.) Metal Gear Solid came out, Resident Evil debuted in 96. Everything about the 90's was awesome.

Don't forget DB/DBZ (Despite the fact it aired in Japan in 1986 but came to America in 1996) Somewhere in my home I have a VHS tape of about mybe 8 hours worth of nothing but Power Rangers.
You can't say the games of today are bad though. There are plenty of good ones.

lol Dragonball was here a little earlier, I think like in 93 and 94, because it used to come on right before Sailormoon. ^_^
I can say that I enjoy the shooters they have out there like Halo and Modern Warfare, because my friends and I have a trip everytime we verse each other lol, the words that are said back and forth, and the reactions of them is just priceless lol. Especially when I camp out and hide away from them and they pass by me not knowing it and get caped lol. I am very selective when it comes to games i play though, the RE series of course being my top choice.
I don't much enjoy playing the missions in Halo or Call of Duty at all, perhaps because I'm not good at them lol, because I myself don't own either of the titles lol.

Well in my case I grow with all sort of shooters so Im good at any game with guns, either is Tomb Raider, CoD, RE, etc... I was born to shoot guns dont you think?

Ze good ol times... I think that sailormoon was on my list of the fist anime I ever saw... I was really kid by them and I still remember sailor pluto... the axis of the others

Never played Tomb Raider I was to busy with Perfect Dark and James Bond games to think of those. Oh and Splinter Cell (Which isn't exactly a shooter but in a way kinda is)

Leon runs swiftly but fast into the woods gun drawn, "Claire he cries out Claire Where are u" flashbacks start to swarm his memory, of the last words he said to her. Then "crunch" a noise he says as he runs towards it, threw the trees he runs at top speed only to end up at a dead end waterfall cliff. Dammit he shouts! then suddenly from out of know where a group of infecties huddling in the near by cave surrounding something. Leon quickly hurries towards the cave. just as he was going to get there he notices, the handgun of his former partner. Claires gun he shouts. as he stampeds his way into the cave shooting and killing everything in site. then out of know where comes a huge troll like creature knowing that he wouldn't stand a chance alone he scoops up the figure like body and runs toward the cliff. down the waterfall he fell, when he awoke from the tremendes fall. he quickly grabbed his former partner and headed for the medical tent. when he arrived he found an injured Claire Redfield. He handed the figure like body to the Doctors. The Doctors gasped at the figure of a body then Leon quickly barged his way into the tent only to find the claire redfield he thought he saved was really only a bag of garbage!

lol where in the world did that come from? ^_^ What a Twist, as M. Night Shyamalan would like to say.
Yeah, Sailor moon was one of the first animes I saw as a kid too Hunter. I'm not really sure exactly what the first anime I saw was, but could have very well been either Sailor Moon or Dragonball, both were here failry early in my childhood. I was probably about 5 or 6 when they first came on. before then I was always watching Batman: The Animated Series, I can't remember much before that lol, so 3 and under I don't really remember much.
I want to think that X-Men came in 94 too, the one that everyone loved that is lol, not the late 60's eary 70's failures as i have heard them referred to lol.
Batman was out in 92 i think, what was out before it i can't even recall lol. I know that the 80's had some totally awesome looking shows that I never saw, or most i had never seen, other than GI Joe, and Transformers. you could got to youtube and find this video about cartoon theme songs of the 80's and some of them looked totally awesome lol. Ah! I think i just remembered what I watched before Batman: The Animated Series, The Super Mario Brothers Super Show!
