 O w l t a l o n“Belief is not a matter of choice, but of conviction.”___________________________[Owltalon watched Rosewind converse with her sister and the kit as he grabbed a mouse from the fresh-kill pile. He was feeling light as a feather today, his eyes gimmering wherever he went. Of course, it showed no more emotion than that. He was still the eerily silent Owltalon every BreezeClan cat knew.
With the mouse clamped softly in his jaws, the white tom padded up to Rosewind and Joykit, placing the mouse at his new mate's paws. He looked up at Joykit and tilted his head. He'd caught her last question, and was intrigued. Rosewind had given her a very kind-hearted answer. He hoped that it helped the kit with whatever she was feeling. Nonetheless, he purred his own question to Joykit.]
“So, who is this tom that you've taken interest in, Joykit?”
[He blinked, flicking his tail-tip in curiosity.]___________________________ . .

I maybe all fun and games, but... Joykit [She looked at Owltalon.]''It's Softkit!But I don't know how to be me when I'm around him!''She sighed.

"Oh, Softkit. How lucky he is to have you like him. I'll tell you what, when your around him, let him strike up the conversation." She glanced at Owltalon and gave a silent thanks. She curled her dappled tail daintly around her paws.

O w l t a l o n“Belief is not a matter of choice, but of conviction.”___________________________ [Owltalon purred good-humorly. He could tell how worked up the kit was about the tom-kit, and it reminded him of how he was around Rosewind not too long ago.]
“Perhaps it is because you are still just a kit, Joykit. You won't know how you really feel until you're older. And Rosewind is right. Softkit is a very lucky tom.”
[He leaned down and playfully nuzzled Joykit's scruff, nearly toppling the kit over.]___________________________..

O w l t a l o n“Belief is not a matter of choice, but of conviction.”___________________________ [Owltalon winced inwardly. Somehow, he felt the kit's pain. He glanced at Rosewind, as if pleading her to say sometime, anything, to calm the she-kit.]
“It's alright if you don't understand at first...Joykit, just look at us, me and Rosewind, I mean. We're about as different as you can get, personality-wise, yet, somehow, we made it work. I'm sure that if you just act like yourself around him, and stop worrying whether or not you understand how he feels, in time, Softkit will warm up to you.”
[Owltalon blinked, nodding simultaneously. He prayed his words would give some comfort to Joykit, if any at all. She was always so happy and carefree, and he didn't want her to change just because of a stupid attraction, especially so early-on in her life. The warrior dipped his head to Birdsong in apology. He didn't mean to interrupt her, of all cats. She was, of course, Rosewind's sister.]___________________________..

"Alright Joykit. You just have to be yourself, like my sister said. If he doesn't like the real you, he's not worth it. And why are you getting so worked up anyways?"
[She smiled]
"You're just a kit. A kit in love, but still a kit. Don't worry about it"

The young she-cat had a way with words. She easily calmed Joykit, which seemed impossible at first, with all her pouting. But now the kit seemed to be lost in thought. Owltalon twitched his tail-tip. Part of him wanted to stay here, with Rosewind, yet another wanted to hunt, patrol--serve his Clan. He glanced around. Well, everything seemed calm enough. More than calm, actually. The air seemed to be weighed down with a grim solemnness. With two warriors and the deputy out on a deadly journey, two warriors and the medicine cat apprentice infected with the Madness, who would actually be happy in a time like this?]

Sweetmoon looked up at the sky... the sun was setting. There was a slight breeze on the wind. She sighed. *I wonder how soon it will be till i return to my warrior duties... or will i be joining the elders....* Sweetmoon thought to herself.
