"Amanda...." he rolled the name around. It was pretty, he liked it alot. "My name's Valor... Valor Speculum." He rolled toward her to get a better hold.

"Valor..." She looked up into his eyes and played with the little amount of his shirt that she had in her hands. "Thank you again for saving me." A small laugh escaped her throat, it being one of joy and happiness. He had saved her more then once today, and she would be forever greatful.

Amanda looked up at him, a little confused and worried. "Warn me about what Valor?" She liked saying his name, and she was going to use it every chance she could.

He crept his hand up her neck and to her hair. "I want to keep you safe... and part of that involves causing you a little pain... We'll have to remove the tatoos... and cut your hair... a little bit... So i can make him beleive you're dead... And so he can't stake a claim on you if he does find you... but that part will hurt... and I want you to trust me.. so I'm telling you now..." he said softly

She nodded slowly and hid her face against his chest again. "I trust you." She said softly as she closed her eyes.

The day passed as an extensive resting period. Valor rose from her comfortable company only to attempt to cook. He was partially successful, though the chicken was a little burned and the rice was a little underdone. It was the thought. She had him bending over backwards and wrapped around his finger, even if she didn;t know it.

She smiled and had eaten the food, thankful enough that it wasn't laced with something to turn her a darker blue, or even a different color for all she cared. And it was the thought that counted with Valor, and she liked him even more for trying. When she was finished she put the dishes in the sink and she curled up back in the bed, fumbling with her hair, trying to think how much she should cut off.

He saw her actions and felt inclined to be a comfort, but he found himself rather nervous. He sat behind her, on the bed side and reached across catching her hand "You'd be beautiful, even if you were bald."

She couldn't help but laugh a little at that, but she nodded and looked at him. "I just don't want to cut it too short, because you like to play with it." She turned a little purple in the cheeks and she looked down at their hands, turning hers around so she could lace their fingers. It felt right to her, made her feel safe, and... loved?

Valor thought about it. He tipped her chin toward him and genlty gathered her hair over one of her shoulders. He ran his fingers up the length of it stopping just below her collar "This wole be a nice length." He said looking her in the eyes

She smiled and looked at him, her eyes slowly going to his lips. She wanted to kiss him, but a fear came over her and she pulled away from him a little, pulling her knees to her chest as she looked down. "We will cut it once we get into the new house."

She smiled softly and nodded. "That's good." She looked over at him and lowered her legs, leaning over and rubbed his cheek gently with her knuckles, trying to close the sudden space between them.

He leaned in slowly as well, but leaned up at the last moment pressing his lips to her forehead. "a kiss is sacred... I'll kiss you someday, but it will be in an intimate tender moment, a romantic one. " he said softly as if reading her mind
