Kwubara watched and listened to what they where saying. They had hit a snag with what they knew. There was a need to gather intel. A plan was already forming in one of his brains, which one he didn't know but, he wouldn't say anything because it was not his place to talk. He got an idea on how to figure out what the enemy was doing. The intel would would an asset but it could get someone from the GNA killed.

She tilted her head back, looking at Jin for a few moments.
She sent out a small pulse of Rai, deciding to make sure she was sure she knew those here.
When she felt the signature of everyone around she felt some relief, but considering the day she had been having numbers weren't any assurance of anything anymore.

Jin feels eyes on him and looks down. A fanged smile greets Lina, and he squeezes her shoulders again. Then he starts to rub the backs of her shoulders with his thumbs. He's been paying attention. But there's not much for him to say. He knows what he'll be doing. He'll fight if the enemy shows up. And he'll train if it's quiet. Simple enough.
Iri's eyes widen at the mention of Tutsumi. She looks in the direction of the medical center. For some reason, she looks a little worried.
"Huh. Tutsumi. Erm, wonder how he's doin'. Wasn't he in pretty bad shape? Really hope the med center wasn't damaged. Or someone doesn't go after him."
Then she looks back to Tier. "I wonder if we can find Kaimen's office. Get a hold of the documents he had. Not really sure how we would go about that. Hmm..."
A thought occurs to her. She holds out a hand and something seems to drop from thin air. It's a pen, and a green notebook. The same green notebook Reeve gave Iri after she lost her beloved leatherbound journal to a creek. She flips it open and starts to jot down notes.
(( So... There's a possibility I won't be available for the next couple days. Supposed to get freezing rain and possible snow. 1/4" to 1/2" of ice is supposed to accumulate, and as secluded as I am out here, if the power gets knocked out, it's not gonna come back for a while. And neither will my Internet. Wish me luck! Because this place's heat is all electric... ))

Reeve looks at the notebook, then at Iri for a moment.
"Tutsumi did have quite the list of specializations, but I don't wanna put all our eggs in one basket.."

She looked at Reeve.
"Considering how every meeting I've had with him went do you really think I want to work with him for a prolonged period of time? I'm just saying that he could teach someone else Hikari if the need arises. I mean do you really think me wasting energy converting from Ki to Rai then again converting that to Hikari is the best route?"
She cringed a bit.
"I know I loose two thirds of my energy output converting to Rai when it's my element. Hikari... maybe I'm getting a tenth of that when I'm actually using my own energy."

Tier's eye looked to the side at Kwubara's face; it seemed like he was thinking about something.

Her eyes narrowed as she glanced at Reeve.
"I offered to be the tool that did the job, you just declined, remember?"
She addressed Tier.
"Someone who was here before I was mostly, I came by accident just before Ishira and his wedding. They're separated now of course, but I can't say anything more about him aside from knowing he knew Hikari, among other elements apparently..."
She addressed the group.
"Maybe we should call this day done? Unless there's much else?"

Iri closes her notebook, looking thoughtful. Then she gives a nod.
"There's plenty, actually. Lots to be discussed. But, we've also got some nin who need some rest." Iri looks at Reeve and Lina as she says this. Then she tosses her notebook into the air, where it disappears, and keeps talking. "After we've all rested up, though, we'll have fresh minds and perspectives. I've got something I need to do, anyway. So, Lina's call has my vote."
Jin shrugs his shoulders. His thumbs stop massaging Lina's shoulders and he reaches for his abandoned bottle of hooch. The dragon poors himself a glass and takes an appreciative sip. Then he glances in Ookamimaru's direction. He had never commented on his hair. What became of him can be guessed.
"Whate'er ya say, missie. Ah know Ookami-kun o'er there can use some sleep. Exhausted 'imself practicin', he did. But where we gonna do tha?"
Iri looks at his glass with an expression of curiosity. But she returns her eyes to his when he speaks. "Eh, I dunno. Wherever you feel like resting, I guess. I know I'm about to find an empty room in this dojo."
Jin nods his head and takes another drink. When he's done, he replies, "Ah guess Ah'll be doin' tha same. Af'er all, it be a nice change o' scenery."

Lina looked like she was about to say something but quickly suppressed her first thought of what to say to Jin's question.
After he stopped rubbing her shoulders she stood up and smiled a bit impishly before starting to walk towards her lair, calling over her shoulder.
"All the rooms are open, at least enough for everyone here right now. Anyone else shows up and I'll make arrangements."

Reeve shrugs noncommittally. Business is never done for him.
"Reckon if anyone needs me I'll be in the kitchen," he says, stretching.

Jin walks out of the kitchen, waving as he does so.
"Later!"
Iri nods at her student's back and starts walking. Next to Reeve, she pauses for a moment. She looks down at him as though she's about to say something. Then she thinks better of it and keeps going.
"If anything happens, I'll probably know about it, so you don't have to worry so much about security. I've got spies everywhere." This is said to the remainder of the gathering, though probably directed more toward Reeve and Tier than Ookamimaru and Kwubara. "If anyone needs me, just holler!"
With that, Iri keeps walking into the dojo.

"Roger, Headmaster," Reeve says with a chuckle. "Time for that drink..."
With that, he shuffles to the kitchen.

As Iri had said, she has spies everywhere. That much becomes evident when one comes up behind Reeve and Iri's disembodied voice asks, "And when did we decide I'm Headmaster? I don't remember us voting on that!"
Iri, of course, has already found herself a room. She closes the door and looks around. Nothing but a bed with some linen folded at the bottom. Shrugging, she picks up the linen and shakes it out. After a few minutes of struggling with the fitted sheet and trying to make her bed look decent, she's got herself a place to sleep. Then she begins to strip. She kicks her sandals into a corner and peels off the tabi. The sleeves on her arms come off next, along with the knife she has strapped to her forearm with a piece of white gauze. Her hakama falls to the floor, shortly followed by the corset top and her scarf. Each article of clothing gets neatly folded and laid next to the head of the bed, with the knife resting on top of the pile. Down to her underthings, Iri crawls into the bed and makes herself comfortable.
Even as she lays there, though, Iri's working on something. An air spy is in one hand. She's whispering something to it, and obviously focusing. When she's done, it flies off, slips under the door, and aims to the leave the Academy.
In his own room, Jin is already halfway asleep. His armor and sword are piled next to the head of his bed, but he's still wearing his hakama. If his armor were any kind of comfortable, he would still be in it. Already he's relaxed and his eyes closed. Partly thanks to the alcohol. What he had in that glass was just enough to make him sleep pretty good. Speaking of which, didn't he leave it on the table? He'll have to get that when he wakes up. Wouldn't be good for someone to be getting into it that couldn't handle it.
