Erickka sighed as she continued to stroke her daughter's hair. The little girl had only continued to cry. Nothing had happened. The only thing that could be stable right now was the harmonized crying of Samantha, Renesmee, Lilly and Jacob. They all cried for their loss and though the pain did not strike Erickka directly, she could almost feel the pain her daughter was feeling. "She hasn't said a word. Just cried." she replied softly.
Scarlette's hand flew up to her mouth. Why did she have to be right?! This made no sense!! Why did Little Anna die? What was her twelve year life for? It made no sense. But suddenly it did. She suddenly realized that Anna's death would not be in vain. Scarlette realized that since Anna's death, everyone would have something to fight for now. Those close to Anna would fight to avenge her. The rest of them would fight to make sure this didn't happen again.
Sierra Jill almost wasn't sure about what to do. She bit her lip, it was the only thing she could do. She sighed heavily. So Anna was the first? If that was so, who would be the last? Sierra Jill sighed once more. This fight was serious now. This was no longer even a fight, it was a war. She knew that she would have to fight in this war. She was willing. Sierra Jill sighed once more as one question remained in her mind.
Who will be the last?
Samantha continued to sob. Though her father had entered the room, nothing mattered. She felt stranded. Anna had always been there when she felt that way, picking her up. Anna had always brought her back. And though she had felt jealousy towards the girl, the rest was nothing but love. And now that one person who had always picked Anna up, was gone. Poof. Just like that. Samantha cried harder.

Renesmee, Renesmee was limp in her mother's arms, but the tears kept coming, slipping off of her skin and landing on the ground. "It was me. The vampire could have killed me. Then you, and daddy, and Jakey could have raised her. You could have raised my little Annale-" She choked off on another sob; a failed attempt to say her daughter's full name. Her nose sniffled and eyes seeped through the corners of her eyes, and she was still making loud noise-even louder than the drizzle or the waves bashing on the multiple cliffs.
Seth tightened his grip on Scarlette, feeling her harsh reaction. "It's okay," he whispered, trying to soothe the pain that might be there, just on the surface. Not deep, Scarlette wasn't as close to Anna as Samantha had been. But they were both wolves, no matter how much wolf was in Anna. He ran a hand through her hair again, looking down at her with a loving expression.
Iolo was surprisingly surprised-yes those were the only words he could find for it, now matter how repetitive they were. His jaw hung open as he watched Samantha be brought upstairs, and how horrible Jacob looked, it suddenly all become so real. Moments went by that seemed like hours; everything went amazingly slow, and this was something Iolo would remember: the first death in the pack he had witnessed. His gaze flew over to Sierra Jill, to overlook her reaction and reassure himself that she was okay.
Toby leaned against the wall, able to hear every separate sob that broke loose from Samantha's mouth. His heart tore within his chest trying to pull apart and become two halves. One half was Samantha's and the other half was... Well, Samantha's. And her crying split it, making pain pulse through his veins more than it ever had before. Even when he had broken his arm, his leg, and three fingers all in the same day, it hadn't been this harsh or violent. the vampire with a beating heart

Erickka sat there and began to hush her daughter's crying. She got up and leaned into Embry's chest, taking her daughter with her. "Hush little baby Don't you cry Mama's gonna sing you a lullaby" she sang softly, her voice almost cooing.
Scarlette bit her thumb and let the hand go through her hair. She grabbed Seth's hand and led him up the stairs. She didn't feel like crying. Crying wasn't going to bring Anna back to life. But she knew that crying was a good way to express emotion. And right now, four people she knew really needed to express. She sighed heavily as she plopped down on her bed. This was so wrong.
Sierra Jill's eyes met with Iolo's for a moment. She almost did not know what to do. Who would be the next? Would it be her or Iolo? Or Scarlette or her mother? The thoughts swarmed around in her mind and the dark truth suddenly dawned on her. In a split second, her entire world could fall apart. In a split second, she could be dead. It made her want to say that she loved all her family and it made her want to say some important stuff to Iolo.
Samantha continued to sob as her mother moved her over. She rested her head on her mother's chest as she cried. The little lullaby sort of helped, but she was still upset. What was she going to do whenever she felt empty? Samantha had always run to Anna when that happened. The empty feeling in the pit of Samantha's stomach seemed to grow twice it's size as the truth continued to seep into her skin.

Bella shook her head, "You're father and I couldn't have lived without you.. and you and jake can have another baby. Your Father and I can't" she said softly. She kissed her daughters head and walked into Ericka's house. She saw Sam consoling Jake who was wracking with sobs and crying.
Embry sighed and put his arm around Ericka and their Daughter. "Sammie It is going to be ok, Don't you still have..." It took him a while to accept it but he did. "Toby?" he asked her gently. He felt terrible for his daughter.
Sam saw Bella bring Nessie and walked away leaving the mourning couple to themselves. He went up to Emily. "There's going to be a funeral soon" he sighed feeling absolutely horrible.

Erickka could feel her daughter's sobs become worse. She sighed heavily and stroked her daughter's hair once more. The little girl was out of her mind with greeif. Erickka wondered if Samantha would even be able to stand going to the funeral. She sighed once more and kissed her daughter's forehead. "It's okay, Sammie. Just cry." she whispered to her daughter.
Samantha's sobs became slightly worse at the mention of Toby's name. She only had Toby left! He was the only one! There was absoloutly nothing wrong with him, but what if Toby was to die? What then?! No. Toby couldn't die! But he could. And if any vampire got close enough, he might. Her sobs racked her chest roughly as she cried more. [[One more post b4 the funeral.]]

Renesmee, Renesmee shook her head, not accepting the simple fact. "I can not have another baby. I just can't replace my Anna," she screamed, looking at her mom with a horrified expression. "How could you even say that?" Nessie shook her head and slumped, landing on the ground in their doorframe. The outdoors reminded her of Anna, the indoors reminded her of Anna, everything did. How would she deal with this for the rest of her life?
Seth let Scarlette lead her up, and looked around at her familiar bathroom. As she plopped down on the bed, he leaned against the wall, still gripping her hand. "Are you okay?" He asked nervously, looking down at her with dark eyes. He gave her hand a reassuring squeeze, and forced a supportive smile, but it obviously wasn't going to help her much.
Iolo looked down at his brother, knowing that Toby probably felt pretty hollow right now, and Iolo was just happy that Sierra Jill wasn't the one crying and gripping her mother tightly. He sighed and walked over to her, his hands in his pockets as always. "What do you think? About Anna dying?" He asked curiously, looking straight into her eyes with an inquiring expression the vampire with a beating heart

Scarlette almost felt like holding her breath. But she didn't. "This is a slap in the face. If Anna could die on an instant like this, who would be next?" she asked, her voice getting a little higher. She was afraid of losing Seth. Afraid of losing her family. Afraid of losing her life. Scarlette didn't want it to happen but knew that it was bound to. She held onto Seth's hand tightly and tried to keep the desperate hormones inside her pocket.
Sierra Jill took in a deep breath. "Anna is the first to fall. Who's going to be next?" she asked Iolo. Her unsure chocolate brown eyes stared into his as she reached for his hand. She reached out for comfort. She reached out of fear. She reached out of love.

Two Weeks Later...
On the day of Anna's funeral, it was bright and sunny. It completly clashed with the mood and everything. Everyone knew that Anna would not want anyone to be sad or cry at her funeral, but it was natural. With the girl's passing, death was painful. About three feet where the ditch where Anna's casket rested, stood a clump of people. All were there to mourn the young girl's death.
One girl, Samantha stood and walked forward. A white lilly was in her hands as she stood beside her friend's gave. Her simple dark blue dress portayed her mood and the bags under her red puffy eyes gave her away. She had been crying and not getting enough sleep. Samantha sighed heavily. She had asked to be given a speaking role at the funeral and she silently waited for everyone to avert their attention to her.

Sam sighed and wrapped his arm around Emily he was in the second row of chairs and at the end. He waited for Sammie to say something.
Jake was still crying Silent tears he was in the first row with Nessie and Bella and Edward and the rest of the cullens. He sighed and looked up at Samantha.
Claire was holding Lilly in her lap both were tear stricken and very sad.
Bella and Edward were holding each other looking at Sammie.
Embry sat in the second front row and held Ericka he watched his daughter and sighed.

Samantha took a deep breath.
"Anna was always a good friend. She was never selfish or rude or unkind. She was the first to help you if you were down or your back was at the wall. She was a beautiful person inside and out. No one could ever compare to her. She always cared. Her beating heart was that of gold." she began.
"Anna was the one who helped me through first grade when we found out that I had slight dyslexia. She was always patient with me, and she never rushed. She was like a little teacher, my age, my size, my teacher. Whenever the two of us got into trouble, she'd put the blame on herself. Then I'd put the blame on me, and we'd end up arguing over who had more to do with the trouble we caused." Samantha continued, laughing softly at the end.
"Anna," she began once more, her voice cracking a bit, "Was a dreamer. She'd never let anything or anyone get in the way of her dreams. She wanted to be a mother and an actress. She wanted to make Angelina Jolie look like an underpaid babysitter. And with everyone elses dream, Anna would help them pursue." Samantha continued.
Samantha paused for a moment, wanting to cry,. But she held back her tears. Her vision was getting foggy and she knew the tears would come soon.
"Anna helped me through dark times in our short twelve years. Whenever I was sad or lonely, she'd always be there, helping me up. So now, I just want to say, sleep well, sweet angel. Sleep well, Anna. My sister. My protector. My friend." she finished.
Samantha let the lilly drop into the grave and let her tears begin to fall. She walked back to her seat and sat down between her mother and father, leaning on her father's arm for support.

It was Jakes turn He got up and walked to the podium. He choked and cleared his throat. "Anna was a beautiful and obedient daughter. I never thought there could be such a thing as a perfect child, and that's just what Anna was. I loved her so much. She was so soft and gentle and cared about everyones, thoughts and feelings. She never doubted everyone, She was caring and kind. I wish she was still here, I remeber when she was born, just a small bundle in her mothers arms. She was so beautiful and content. I'll never forget her. She always had my heart and she always will. I know she wouldn't want us to cry over her, she'd want us to be happy and remember her the way she was. I love you Anna and I always will my loving Daughter." He was crying through the whole thing and sniffling. He then nodded to the priest who turned on the stereo and played Anna's favorite song It was I Miss You by Avril Lavigne. He sat down in his seat and cried harder listening to the song.
Embry began crying and wrapped his arm around his daughter. He held her tightly.

Erickka wrapped her arms around her daughter and stroked Embry's hair. She looked over at her other children. None of them seemed affected. None of them were as close to Anna was as Samantha was... It was sad, having such a little life being torn away in one swoop...
Samantha kept her sniffles light, she didn't want to cry. She had done enough of that in the past week. The little game of Bloody Mary she had played on her upper legs wasn't helping either. But the physical pain was better than the emotional. Physical pain could heal, but the mental blow didn't.

Renesmee, Renesmee sat in the first row beside Jacob, to pained and sorrowful to even go to the front and say anything. She was the only one there that was still crying: real tears. They poured down her face, and the noises still came out of her throat, just as loud as the first time she ever cried. Her nose was raw from wiping it with tissues, her eyes were bloodshot, from, not lack of sleep, but absolutely no sleep at all. Her hair was ratted from not caring what so ever, and her heart was broken from the process itself. She brought up her knees and held them, looking like a child who had lost her blanket. And she had lost her blanket-Anna, her blanket, was gone. How she would deal, she had no idea.
Seth sat in his chair, his head bent down in sorrow. This hadn't made much of a difference to him, but it still meant that part of the pack was gone. One less shapeshifter-even if she was only half-was completely gone, never to return. And just to see Jacob, who he had wanted to be like when he was little, crying like that hurt him. Not only that, but Edward and Bella and Renesmee were crying, and he used to be the only shapeshifter that got along with the vampire community.
Emily leaned against Sam, whom she had used for moral support ever since this blow had hit the pack. The main thing that mattered to her was the depression of Anna being gone-and never to return. The other thing, was something on a little lighter note. At least this affected none of her children to strongly. Every other mother there had something bad about this: one child that really cared about Anna. Except for Renesmee, but all she had was Anna. the vampire with a beating heart

Anna wanted to cry everyone was crying, she didn't know if anyone could see her. After she died she automatically drawn to Samantha she had seen Sammie cut herself and she was upset for it. She walked (or somewhat floated) to Samantha , She then saw her mother and father and felt even worse. She looked at herself in the casket in the ground and felt absolutely weird, But she had a mission to help Sammie out. She went back to sam and smiled gently wondering if she could even see her.
