Cat, meanwhile, sank down at the kitchen table, her expression thunderous once again. She didn't bother to get tea, and neither did she seem particularly interested in talking; she just sat and glowered.

Reaper continued through the house, heading back to the room Alcina had set up for him. He stopped once he came to the entrance to the kitchen and hesitated. He looked inside to kind of check in on Felicia...but that was all he did.
He didn't know what to say. He didn't know what to...how he should respond. His initial reaction was to ask if she was alright. Rather stupid question though. Of course she wasn't. He didn't know what else to say other than that.

Steel Spider, meanwhile, sat in the chair across from Sapphire with her elbows in her knees and her head resting in both her hands. She didn't like waiting. She didn't like not knowing what was going on. And she didn't like worrying. She didn't know what to do. She wanted to help, but she didn't know how.

A bit of movement caught her eye and distracted her for a moment. Alex had returned to the room and walked back to her seat. She looked about as comfortable as Steel felt.

"Everything alright?" Steel asked.

Alex sighed and shook her head. "I have no idea." she admitted, turning to glance back at Steel and Sapphire. Then she blinked and took another look down at Sapphire. The glow around her was dimmer, and it had changed colors.
Oh...was she almost better then?

Without looking up, she sighed. With the sigh, her expression softened into something closer to intense irritation than all-encompassing rage. "If you're going to hang around, at least come in and sit. The hovering thing you're doing is distracting as hell."

Reaper hesitated another beat, but accepted the invitation to come in. "Sorry." he said as he walked in. "I wasn't sure if you were wanting anyone with you."

Cat propped her cheek up with one of her hands, allowing her other forearm to rest casually on the table. "I wasn't," she admitted reluctantly, "It's easier to be directionlessly angry on your own. It's also a complete waste of everybody's time," she added frankly, making a face.

"There's nothing wrong with being angry." he replied, moving towards the table to have a seat. Most of the time, it felt good to be angry. Much better than half of the other emotions that could creep up on him.
Before sitting down however, he got another good look at his hands as he grabbed a chair. Bloody, and wiped off rather carelessly. Letting go of the chair still left a bit of a print.
"...If, uh, if you need to rip anything up, the Goddess left something here to do so." he said, moving away from the chair and over towards the sink to wash his hands a bit more.

Cat shot him a sidelong glance, then shook her head. "It's not that simple. I want to rip HIM up. And... I'm not even sure I want to do that." She paused. "He was making sense in there, wasn't he?" She bit her lip. "I couldn't even hear it. I--" She swallowed, her face closing off. "I haven't gotten like that in a long time," she concluded finally.

Reaper cleaned his hands off silently as he listened, then turned the faucet off and hesitated once again. He was far from used to dealing with anything like this.

"I understand." he replied finally. "Not in exactly the same way of course. But, as far as rage goes I understand. Loosing yourself to it." Aside from the recent event in New York, he'd completely lost himself to anger once before. That...brought absolutely nothing good. This wasn't a 'I have it worse than you' conversation, so he wasn't going to go any further than that unless she asked. Neither was he going to ask her about her past. As closed as her features became, she wouldn't talk about it anyway.

"I, uh, sent him to one of the other magic users I'd mentioned before. I didn't trust him either, so I thought she'd be able to judge the situation better."

She nodded, the muscles in her neck tightening at even small mention of the demon. "That's probably smart," she agreed, "Maybe she can work something out with him; I really do want everyone back. But I know people like that," she added in a lower, more dangerous voice. Her eyes flashed, focusing on some distant point, "He'll become a bigger problem than whatever took Strange if he's given half a chance."

Reaper shifted uncomfortably a moment, then made his way back over towards the chair. More good news. Edel probably wasn't the best person to send him to then. "She should be able to handle him. She is...on about the same level as Strange is. She hardly ever uses as much power as Strange seems to though." he said, then carefully sat down at the table. "I'll try to make sure that if something like that does happen, that it'll be more our problem than yours."

"Like hell!" she spat automatically, that feral light flaring up in her eyes again. The next second, she was turning faintly pink, covering her hand with her mouth, and subsiding back into the chair. "Sorry," she muttered a second later, "But this IS my problem. He MADE it my problem."

Reaper blinked and looked at her a moment. Was she...embarrassed at that little blurt-out? "Alright. If you need help though, don't hesitate to ask for it." he replied, trying not to sound surprised.

She smiled, but the expression was a little sheepish, and the pink still hadn't completely receded from her cheeks. "Thank you. I didn't mean to snap," she clarified, "You've been nothing but helpful, and you didn't deserve it."

Reaper looked at her another moment, then let a genuine smile slip across his face. An expression that rarely crossed his features unless there was ill intent laced with it. "It's alright. It's nothing I'm not used to. The whole being helpful thing on the other hand...well, I'm kind of glad that I seem to be doing good at it so far. At least enough that it's being noticed."

The smile both widened and warmed. "It is by me, anyway. And Strange isn't even here to make you," she added, a little teasingly, "Impressive."
