Arashi made a 'Hn' noise and then walked away, not saying anything.
Kasai looked at the man, not sure if he should join them, what if they just tried to take his power from him, like all the others that had helped him.

Alexa cracked an eye open. This was interesting. "So you're a mage?" she inquired curiously, looking as sleepy as before. She hadn't had the slightest idea.
What else did she not know about Kirra?

At the mention of Maverick Sora almost cried. She buried her face in her hands with a groan and slumped back against the wall. "Dammit..."
Naomi looked over to Sora and frowned, walking away from her simply with her arms crossed. She felt terrible for Mathias and his family. She hoped that all would turn out well in the end. But she already knew; in war, happy endings were always rare...

Ivy smirked as the weak soldiers that had been deadweight fell over dead and the strong soldiers worked hard. She'd have them ready for war sooner than she had originally thought.

Maverick came out of his tent to watch Ivy train the troops he smirked from a distance as she whipped them over

Alexa leaned back lazily. "Oh, so that's how it works," she said, as casually as if Kirra were talking about the weather. "Why didn't you ask him for immortality?" she wondered aloud, a little curious. "It's got to be an easier way to get it."

Alexa gave a slight, lazy shrug. She wasn't terribly worried, particularly considering that she'd always been told she was a soulless little creature anyway. Still, she respected Kirra's warning enough to fall politely silent, with an If you say so look on her face.
