kouri-chan_xx iRain-chan 1. When creating a custom technique for a clan, if its a technique from a game, book or movie/show. Do I have to reword the name so that it isn't the exact name of the technique from where I got it from? 2. Also is it ok to use a name for my custom clan from a popular culture (game, book,show etc) but I'm only using the name while everything else about it is completely made up? 3. How many custom techniques can a custom clan have? What is the max? and min? I dunno if your questions have been answered via PM, but here we go haha. 1. If the technique is a straight copy off a game/book/movie/etc it doesn't sound quite original. It might still work with your clan of course but depending on where you got it from it could also work as a guild wide technique (which will have a much higher chance of being passed, and will be much easier to pass). It would be better if you are instead inspired by the technique and rework it to fit your clan. 2. What's the name? If it would be confusing, I'd go against it. 3. Check the Approvals subforum. I think you have to become a genin first so I would just go through the academy razz

You know, I would completely agree, but things are crazy for Proto and Nura right now it seems, so I guess if it were to be held in Konoha, we would have to wait until things became a little less hectic around here. smile But yes, by all means yes, let's please hold it in Konoha. 3nodding

This is a question and suggestion really.
Kekkai Hojin (Barrier Encampment Method)

An array of four explosive tags are jointly placed around the boundary of an area. If anyone or anything happens to walk through the boundary, the seals will instantly activate and explode, killing the imprisoned target.
Cp cost: N/A
Dice Rolls: 1 Roll
Damage: 10 - 20 per tag, all four means 40 - 80 damage.
Reflex DC: 12 + chk mod + 2 per 10 ranks in Ninjutsu. -2 per detected bomb tag.
Requirements: Craft 2
Training: 1 stage.
Stage I: Craft DC 12 Figure out and learn the best way to position the four bomb tags for maximum effectiveness.
Special: This technique requires 4 (nonconsecutive) turns to set up. You must hide each tag with a Stealth roll vs. your opponent's Awareness roll.
Okay so this jutsu that I have just put up is a C rank justsu. As is, it is more like a E rank jutsu. It requires almost nothing close to what a C rank jutsu requires so, here is my question/suggestion. First, Is it like this for a reason that I don't know about? Second, if it isn't then perhaps we should either make it a E rank for boost up the requirements and Stages. Thanks.

*Knock Knock* Any crew in the house? Oto is getting really messy and cluttered, also it's impossible to update any of the threads. Can I have some crew access to help out with this? I don't plan on being Kage but I can talk with Hepefan and titus. I can help out with some guild duties in return, anything like approvals or rp academy or something.

I'm not looking at a list of things that need to updated, I'm looking at things that needs to be kept up regularly and with respect to everybody in oto. That's gonna be kinda hard to tell you but I'm sure if you ask hepefan and lord titus the acting Kages of oto they could let you know some things. Edit: Also where can I find how to calculate damage? I can't find it anywhere.

Nura Tai For Ninjutsu, Genjutsu, Taijutsu? Taijutsu I mean last time I checked it was 1-6+ strength mod + 1-2 for every 4 points in taijutsu. But I'm not sure if there is more to it, and I think when we switched over from 2.0 we might have lost where we wrote it down. I couldn't even find where it said add your strength mod to 1-6

I couldn't even find where it said add your strength mod to 1-6 Under the skills section it list that for every 4 points in Taijutsu add +1-2 and for every 10 +2 to attack roll. I'm still hunting for the spot where it says what str does but go with + strength for now.
