LightOfTheDark Jarlaxle Baenre You think my character is overpowered? I think Sakura's character is overpowered. Is insanity really that much of an advantage?
And yes and no.. Insanity can be a dis-advantage because you can't always think rationally about a situation and can almost always end up FUBARing it... But it can also be an advantage because it keeps your enemies guessing, and also gives points for creativity ^^At the moment, Hybrid exists to get the group started...soon though things will begin happening and Hybrid may not exactly be in control of the organization he's created. The one the group will find out about ^_^ At the moment, Hybrid exists to make sure the group doesn't die, and learns his ways. So maybe a little bit overpowered, but he won't be around long. So don't worry about it 4laugh

In D&D I created a drow paladin.
All my friends were like "What the ******** is wrong with you? Are you insane?"
I created a tripple... or maybe double character. An avatar. Manifest.

Anyways.
But yeah, I'm still putting thought into the Drow Unholy Knight idea. Thing is, I seem to do the melee classes too much...
But melee is just too fun. Hack'n'slash!

I currently have a drow ranger that I'm having way too much fun playing. If I hadn't already devoted so much time and experience into making the character a badass ranger I'd have taken a few paladin levels. Since the drow IS on speaking terms with St. Cuthbert's paladin. Well... Sorta. It's fun playing lawful neutral when everyone else in the party is chaotic.

My favorite thing though is a template. A lich template to be exact. I have a level 21 wizard/4 lich/15 demilich. Hell, I'm like a god. I can summon a lich as an ally unlimited times per day using my phylacrety.

Meh. I never really played anything past Baldur's Gate 2. I loved that game. But I also like Neverwinter Nights, but I couldn't get into that (computer too slow x_x).
But now my Baldur's Gate 2 discs have gone AWOL, so I'm left with the three-disc set of Baldur's Gate 1, Tales of the Sword Coast (In your face all you 6-disc set owners).

I love nwn and am impatiently awaiting nwn2. x_x However, since playing nwn? I've hunted up an actual tabletop gaming group? And nwn is a BAD influence, cause the computer runs a lot of the rules and common items differently.

GIVE IT TO ME!!! Goddamnit, if I could borrow it or buy it off of you I'd be complete. Tales of the Sword Coast is the only game made by Black Ilse that I don't have. Had to use my friend's to get the Big Metal Unit. Hell yeah. Tales of the Sword Coast is the link between BGI and BGII: SOA.
I just FINALLY got Planescape Torment. I'm so happy. Out of print since '98. Do you even know how hard it is to find that game? It takes place in Sigil, the city of doors. Haer Dalis's home.
P.S. I can kick any one of your assses in BGI, BGII, IWD, IWD, and any of the NWN expansions.
I beat that game so many times with my monk that he's a god.
