Kasekami stepped from the portal. Her feet padded with a soft crunch in the thick ash. "...She may not have loved me back when I loved her, but she'll always have a small place in my heart. If she dies here, I'll destroy you." were the words Iorwerth said to Azathoth. Kazekami sighed. She knew it was too good to be true. She was ment to be an assassin. Alone. What the hell was she doing here? She should've let the Overseer have her and told Iorwerth to leave. It would've been less painfull..... Kazekami clenched her fists, that old dark feeling of the compressing lonelyness tightening in around her. Suddenly a burnt tree fell as it's dead trunk finally fell. It crashed to the ground. Azathoth and Iorwerth were silent. "They dont' need me. Why am I here?" Kazekami muttered to herself. She stood off from everyone else. They weren't her friends, but she had acted like it at the pool. Was she still trying to act human? She didn't know. All she knew was that everything here, every tiny realtionship she had made, no matter how small, was meaningless and irrelivent. They cared nothing for her. She felt nothing for them, either. Kazekami clenched her teeth. Next chance she got, she was gone. She'd leave, back to her old life of killing. 'Good' she thought.

Alice-Lee and Antoinette emerged from the portal. Alice-lee looked over at Kazekami. She looked alone. And Azathoth was burning. Alice-Lee stepped over to Kazekami and placed a hand on her shoulder. "Whats wrong?" she said worried. What had happened in the few seconds that it took her to get here?

Iorwerth turned around to make sure everyone was coming through the portal alright. He noticed Kazekami seemed suddenly distant. "Are you alright?" He frowned, deeply concerned.
"She heard something she didn't like." Azathoth stated simply, confusing Iorwerth. Azathoth turned his attention to recent tracks in the ground off in the distance. He began running. "I will not let her die..."

Kazekami shrugged off Alice-lee's arm. "Touch me again, and I'll break you Shifter." She growled with a demonic glare. Suddenly Iorwerth spoke. "I'm fine, fairy." Noticing the demon running off, Kazekami ran off too.

Iorwerth lept into the air and zoomed over to Kazekami, landing directly in front of Kazekami. He placed a hand on either of her shoulders. "Okay, now I know you're lying. You haven't called me 'fairy' since we first met." Iorwerth's eyes held a hurt gleam in them.

Kazekami held his gaze with a blank stare. "What has changed between us since then? We've worked together, fine; It was a mission, nothing more... So unless you're saying something more has changed, get out of my way." She shoved past him.

Iorwerth sighed, shaking his head. "I was thinking this changed.." He leaned in and kissed her softly, and then pulled back. "Was I wrong?"

Kazekami's eyes widened. With trembling hands, she pressed them against his chest and shoved him away. "No...I...." She backed away, the old hurt and suffering returning to her eyes from the breif moment of joy. "I am an asassin." her eyes turned dead, "I kill people for a living. I have no one, and I have nothing. I am alone, and that's the way it will stay untill my dying day. I deserve less than what I have."

"If you were really alone do you think I'd be trying so hard right now? You deserve the world, don't ever think otherwise. What the hell got into you to make you start thinking like this?" Iorwerth studied her eyes, searching for an answer.
Azathoth stopped running and turned around, "You guys coming or what?"

"Iorwerth," Kazekami said softly, the sharpness leaving her eyes. She placed her hand gently on his cheek. "Iorwerth..." her voice was nothing more than a whisper as she came closer to him, her eyes locked with his. "Chase something else, Iorwerth. I'm broken, and I'm not worth it. Find someone better; someone who won't leave you when you're in pain. You're too dear to me to be hurt like that." A tear rolled down her pale cheek as she let him go, and ran after Azathoth.

"And yet by doing this, you hurt me." He whispered as he watched her go. His wings drooped and something inside him died. He would assist with getting Deirdre back and then he'd disappear, as to where he'd go, he wasn't sure yet. What he was sure of was that he couldn't feel his inner fire anymore. The element had left him to find another Fae, a Fae that still had their inner spark. He walked after Azathoth. He didn't run, he didn't fly, he walked.
Azathoth neared a building that was charred. Many pieces of the building were missing, and he hesitated at the entrance before entering into the darkness...

Azathoth walked through the darkness a few moments before blinding lights flicked on. "Welcome Brother," Isacc said as he stood in the center of the room beside Deirdre, "I'm going to give you a choice." Isacc paused and glanced behind Azathoth at the others. "Save the girl you maybe possibly love... Or, save your friends." The fallen angel reached for a button, but Azathoth was too quick. He had his twin brother on the floor in an instant, black and white flames enveloping the two. A terrifyingly demonic roar shook the building, as the two brothers fought. A shriek came from Deirdre who was almost hit by a stray attack. Iorwerth darted forward and hurriedly began trying to free her.
"Come on.. Come on... Work you damn fire." Iorwerth was trying to get his fire back, but it ignored his calls. Deirdre looked up at the stressed Fae. "You lost your affinity.." She whispered. Iorwerth ignored her words and continued trying to untie her.
