As Ecchymos pulled his hand away from Chryseis', he didn't. His hand came off in hers.
"Oh. Oh dear. I'm due for a new fleshdoll, I'm afraid."
He took the hand from Chryseis and firmly fused it to his wrist.
"Well, I'm sorry to cut right to the chase, but I will have to go soon, before I start falling apart."
He coughed, and a scrap of skin sloughed off his face, floating lightly to the ground. His eyes watched it's progress.
"Well. That frog, how did you create it? Is it a biological process, or a magical one? And your eye!"
He cried in surprise, seemingly just noticing it.
"Wouldn't you rather get a replacement?"

Vhozd noticed Monoe's passing out, and stopped. He put her on the ground against a wall, and sat next to her cross-legged, waiting for her to awaken. He realized he had left his helmet in the cafeteria. He sighed, breath whistling out of a stoma [[read: hole]] on the side of his head.

"...Does not matta' to me." Rufus replied, sucking down the last puff of the tobacco in the bowl of the pipe. He swore under the smoke that left his mouth as he began to dig in the duster. Bile began to rise up his throat from what was happening with...the decaying man. He silently forced the bile back down and cleared his throat. "....Mechanics can easily built a replacement, 'ell, I can get an eye replacement for free."

Chryseis paused. "Biological. Salem's proven it. And the onyl eye that can work with my head is my old one. Speaking of Salem..." She looked Ecchymos over. "You seem to be a good specimen in his research of the relaitonships between science and magic..." She quickly took out a scanner, hurriedly flashign a red light over Ecchymos. "If only Salem could come here, he'd take samples..." Chryseis then scanned Vhozd too. "Oh, he'll be thrilled! It's so hard to please him..." [[Chryseis' boyfriend, Salem, is an omeganerd. Basically, one of their kings. He's like Otacon [MGS] mixed with Mao [Disgaea 3] and Alexander [Lost Kingdoms]. Hwo he got a very pretty action chhick like Chry, nobody knows. If you don't beleive me, his appearance is based off of Thomas Dolby in this.]]

Alexander put the over sized weapon away and checked the other cases, their was all manner of weapons in them. He opened up a case that had a bunch of canes in them. He exchanged his current one for a wooden one with a twisted metal handle with a small blue orb at the end. he twirled it around infront of him leaning against the wall. "...I wonder how long that fights gonna be..." He thought outloud.

"It has been nice talkin' to ya, chry-sies." Rufus said, restuffing the pipe with tobacco from a dusty yellow aged envelope. Another match came to his hand and let the tobacco, taking a few warming puffs of tobacco as he walked back down the stairs.

Chryseis followed him, not liking the idea of hanging around where Monoe was.
"So you're a mercenary? What sort of work do you do?"
She looked around calmly, making sure that her family was nowhere to be seen.

"Transportin', protection, investigation, gun for hire, several others that fit into the general idea." Rufus sucked down more tobacco, held it in before releasing it slowly. His boots picked up in speed, not wanting to be in the current room.

Chryseis matched his pace, her metal boots making a 'clanck' sound on the floor.
"I'm more like a treasure and scroll hunter, you see. My..."
She paused for a second to think of the right word.
"...associate has an odd fascination for such thhings, and I do my best to fulfill his wishes. Is there anythign on your person technology or magic related? If so, I'd like to scan it for his research..."

"I do quite a bit of bounty huntin' myself." Rufus took the pipe out of his mouth, blowing the smoke out of the left side of his lips. "I can not let ya look at my personal items."

"It was worth a shot. Trying to please a man who wants to know literally everythign is hard, you know, but... ah well."
"Hey!", a voice said on a communicator around her neck. "You should know that we'll be the only ones left in existence if the Reckoning eventually wipes out all existence. That is whhy we must apprehend the girl in monochrome--"
"There are two girls in monochrome, Salem. Both have the capacity to destroy existence; one by sheer force of invincibility and the other by willful manipulation of existence's fabric."
"Oh, no, a duplicated soulproof. We'll have to terminate both for existence to be safe. Or, well, you will. I can do nothing."
"I know that. That's why I'm here."
She flicked off her communicator.
"Sorry you had to hear that. You shouldn't worry! I just have to keep one horrible guy from manipulating a certain, special little girl. G-Generic stuff. You're not in danger."

Rufus was paying no attention to her conversation. "Hm?" The remark puffed a lingering of smoke into the air. "I was not givin' rat's a** towards it anyway."

She saw a small fleet off droids in the opposite direction of whhere rufus was heading, and began to pummel them with her fake feet.

Hearing no more sounds from within the cafeteria Alex and Cassy began moving all of Alex's inventions into a corner that would serve as his temporary shop for the duration of the tournament. He opened a case that contained all his tools, cassey grabbed his working chair along with a few more cases from the truck. Alexander set one cases ontop of another and opened the top case then took out a handheld multipourpse tool. He strapped on a pair of welders googles and began working on his latest weapon idea. Light flickered from indie the case as he used the tool.
