Hotaru nodded for a second, then broke his concentration. "And just how the hell do you expect me to make darkness glow?" He looked up at Phantom, his eyes screaming that it was like trying to look left and right at the same time. "Seriously. I mean, darkness is the absence of light, right? If that's true, then how can I make darkness glow?" There was no attitude in his tone, he simply wanted to understand the theory behind what was asked of him.
((Short isn't always so bad, and Ichy.....I did this before your epic block of a post, and I'm seriously glad I did. Check out the first post. You'll hopefully be pleasantly surprised.......jesus people. You're making me feel inadequate....*smiles and shakes his head*))

He just gave a sigh. "Thanks for the profound words of wisdom....." He shook his head as he grinned. "Then I'll just have to figure it out on my......" His grin changed into a smirk. "Alright then. If it's on me to figure it out, then I'll just have to try something else. After all, you never said anything about it being strictly dark energy." He was still smirking as he went back into his meditative state, and once again started to form the firefly.

((It's because hotaru is using his special power. It's enables him to sap post length to increase his intelligence temporarily xd ))
As he felt the firefly actually take form, he focused on putting a little of his fire power in the end of the fake firefly. "And hopefully that should do it...." He opened his eyes, only making sure he couldn't see the damn thing. "So, Phantom, how is it?"

[[talk about feeling inadiquite, King, I can't seem to get a post in edgewise! XD;;]]
Jistin snapped out of her own little world upon being adressed, looking to the dark-haired girl over the back of the couch. She seemed to zone out and fade into the background a lot lately. Most everyone was still a stranger to her still, and, Tsubasa...whoever it was running around sharing her mind was running around with er body more often than not, it seemed. She wondered if Tsubasa might have been avoiding her. “Hey, Italia,” she paused slightly to note the girl's eye color for conformation of who was in control, “I'm...ok. Starting to get a little homesick actually.” The hazel-eyed blonde chuckled thinly.

She clapped smileing. "Bravo. But now theres a riddle for you to solve. Fire, is a child of light. It has similar properties to it's father elemant. If darkness is the absense of light, and fire has the same property to illuminate thant how does your firefly stay intact even after fire has been introduced to it?" She smiled keeping her head tipped to one side.

Italia laughed lightly. "Yeah, me too." she said walking around to sit down on the couch next to her. "Hows the adventure going? Getting what you wanted out of it yet?"

Hotaru shrugged. "It just does, because I'm awesome." He laughed. "No, seriously though, it's actually pretty fun to work the dark energy around like that." He smiled at her. "All you do is create a space inside the firefly for the flame, and a thin gap in the layer of darkness that creates the form to allow the flame to breath." He lifted the firefly up, closer to his face. "And what that means is, the more air presented to it." He exhaled on the firefly, causing it to shine brightly for a second. "The brighter it shines."
((Is it bad that I wanted to keep the answer to just, 'It does, because I'm awesome'?))

She laughed a little shaking her head. "Theres anouther reason to. But I'll let you think about that." she stood. "Keep working on keep your emotoins calm and creating larger creatures. Not multiple, just larger for now alright?"

Jistin bit into her lip bashfully. “I haven't been able to bring myself to leave yet,” she admitted, pushing blonde hair behind her ear and ringing her hands nervously, “It's like, I stumbled on Tsu-Zero!”--The girl took a breath to calm herself down, this whole predicament was frustrating--“I found her and everything, all my plans and entusiasm about the adventure I was gonna have, came to a grinding standstill.” Jistin let out a defeated-sounding sigh. “I can't bring myself to leave without her, not after so long of thinking she was gone.”

"Alright." Hotaru muttered. 'Lets see......with how much I can pull out.....no......I won't to do that....' He then gave a sad smirk. 'might as well....wonder how everyone here will take it....' He held his hands skyward while keeping them on his lap. As he concentrated, a small amount of dark energy could be seen twirling about him as he focused on creating his family's crest over the entire town. 'And naturally I've gotta add my own little flare to it.'
