Mit looked at her, there was clarity there, "I want to... I want to help them... It was fun to do that, back in my father's home... Back when I wasn't fighting for my life..."
"She is engaged," Ambersky said in the same tone one would use to tell a person the sky was blue. "She is a princess after all. Her husband was chosen for her by her brother."

Ambersky tilted his head to the side, confused, "There is no problem there never has been. Mit told her he'd return to her when he knew he could without risking her life. And if she'd still have him, he'd take her as his wife. and if the Royal Mage has died, Mit will take that title, if his grandfather has not already choosen a successor. The title is only under the ranks of the princess's, and the commander of the armed forces."

Ambersky shook his head, "No... His uncle wants him dead because of the title Mit holds. It is a family feud, with in the family... and Lord Aoilos would have no qualms about bringing a member of the human royal family into it... He is very uncaring towards humans..."
Mit took a slow breath, "I know... But sometimes those thoughts just become so over powering, I have to clear my head."

"Well I have heard Mit doesn't want the title at all. So why can't he just give the title to his uncle if he wants it so bad?" Tora asked. He couldn't see why this was all so complicated.
