(Oh right.))
The scientist said, "Hey, I'm willing to help you guys. That Agent tried to use me as a hostage." He shivered a bit. Then he glanced at Xander. "Then again, you tried to kill me..."

"No," Xander corrected, "I saved you. I just wouldn't have been terribly upset about your death."

"Gee, that's so much better," the obviously terrified man said. Tiki slapped Xander upside the head, and offered the man on the ground a hand up. He stood, looking at the two inquisitively.

Xander ignored Tiki's head slap and sighed, "Point is, you help us or I'll have to kill you intentionally to make sure you don't tip anyone off."

Tiki threw his hands up and spun around, giving Xander a look that said, "WHAT THE ******** IS WRONG WITH YOU?!" before pushing him back and turning back to the scientist. The scientist shrunk back from them, but didn't go for the door.

Kurtis fired his kinetic gun at the tops of the vehicles, hoping to flip them over.
((1: the fact that Kurtis hasn't killed anyone yet is hilarious. 2: And now, for your viewing pleasure:

Venom: Er... I mean, in-universe, the creation of a sentient golem is tricky territory - both in terms of actually doing it and the morality of it. Obviously, as in most societies, not everyone agrees on what is and isn't "right" universally.
Joe: Pff. Joe doesn't care about that stuff. He would do it anyways. As for actually doing it, how would that be hard? I mean, you've got time, plus Arturo/Linda, and a ridiculous amount of mana.
Well, a lot about it is the complexity of creating a human or near-human mind. The general basic method is to tabula rasa it and teach it as you go, but then the golem would be at most a 15-year-old, which is all kinds of bad idea....
If it's gonna be a no, tell me now. If you're going to try and talk me out of it, just know that it won't work. xp
I'm not saying no, I'm just saying it could have odd implications, including loss of support for Joe from the act. If you're willing to accept that, then we can go ahead....
Loss from whom? I doubt Linda would have an issue with it. Neither would the other PCs, for that matter.
From, y'know, the SPOILERS REMOVED
Whaaaaa? SPOILERS REMOVED. Wow. Cool. Then...can I do it in secret?
If you feel that's wise. <_<;
Would that work?
It might. But if it was discovered... it'd be like... your illegitimate stone child.
How would it be connected back to Joe?
Well, now your sentient golem is an orphan. That's just messed up. <_<
Egh. I guess. Although if it was programmed so that it never knew its creator, and got orders along a mana-line...
I begin to hope you never have children, Joe.
Yeah, I'd be that parent like Charlie, from Charlie's Angels. The kids would never know me, but I'd issue orders from an intercom each morning.
I really hope you never have children. Part of this is totally going in the Cabal OoC sometime.
I don't want kids. Go for it. xd

((Haha, Alex and I were talking about a possible character for 27, and it turned into a discussion about me having children.))
Unfortunately, the vehicles were exceedingly bottom-heavy, and while the drivers had to work hard to pull the vehicles back into line, they were not significantly put off.

((Haha))
Xander sighed. Obviously Tiki went about with the p***y way of negotiating. "Why lie to him? He knows that if he doesn't help, he's probably gonna get killed anyway and if he does help, he won't die."

[[I just got a good laugh from your little conversation. I begin to hope you never have children either. Poor little golem. Anyway, am I supposed to post now?]]

((Blue, you're free to post whenever. Here, have a nifty, open-ended post!))
The man from before emerged from a back room. "If you're done with the military men, here's your first mission file." He handed her a manila folder.
Tiki blinked. Blinked again. Then shrugged. He turned to the scientist expectantly. The terrified man swallowed loudly. "What...what can I do to help?"
((Alex, you have another shot. One more. Figure out how to stop them.))
