"Oh, man. I am just batting zero today. Well, um. I really don't want to ask you to do anything you won't like. So... you tell me how you want to get there. Okay?" Teddy leaned against the vehicle and smiled at Serrenedy. Oddly, he felt calmer now that he'd made a decision. he wasn't even in a rush to go. He knew he was going and they'd leave whenever they left.

((The movie? Been a while since I watched it, but yes, definitely.))

Teddy smiled, though he tried not to look too amused. He had not ever met anyone who didn't know about cars. Serrenedy was definitely not like anyone else he'd met. Even Markus had a car, though Teddy had not actually seen it. "It's a car. An automobile? And you won't die. I'm still living and I drive it almost every day. If squishy and human me can survive it, trust me, you'll be fine."

((Interesting game concept, but I really don't remember enough of the movie to even try it.))

Anita walked out of the apartment, locking it after Cleo followed her, and down to her car on the street. "You'll probably be safer in my purse than sitting on the dash or anything..." she commented as she buckled up.

Anita grinned as she started the engine and headed towards the Riverfront. "She invited a human to live with her. She's going to have to adjust, just like every other vamp in the city." she said and then had a momentary far-off look on her face, as if she was thinking of someone else. She shook her head, and parked in front of Mystical Creations, a store full of clothing and housewares for all types of preternaturals, including the dimunitive sorts, such as fairies and pixies. Anita killed the engine and got out. "Here we are... you want to ride in my purse some more, or get out and look around?" she asked.

Anita stepped in through the doors to the store and then stopped. "Purfume? I don't own any--" she said as she opened up her purse more to look. The fairy was appearently snuggled up near what looked like an antique bottle of french purfume. She narrowed her eyes, "Well, if you like it, you can have it." she said, in an almost snappish tonen as she walked around the store, heading for the fairy section.

Cleo shyed at the snappish tone of voice "Oh no-it's O.K. I just ment it smelled nice-why don't you wear it?" She asked

Serrenedy opened the cardoorshe wasn't breathing so her chest wasn't flying wildly but her fingers were crossed

What the ******** had I done?
Teddy's distress was like the clanging of a hundred bells echoing around my skull as I tried to sleep. Eventually, that pain faded, and it took everything I had not to go search for him, hold him, show him the love he so desperately needed. But as the distress faded, his true presence grew, and I felt him close to the Riverfront. Anita was with him; I could taste her energy on the back of my tongue like some sweet thing, tinged with the bitterness of too many deaths. The fairie was probably near Anita. So they were all together. Oh, joy.
Did I go find Teddy? After I had just made love with - no, <********> - another man, did I find the one I professed my love to after only a few nights of knowing him?
It was the classic, cliche devil-on-one-shoulder, angel-on-the-other scenario. I lay, tossing and turning, unsure of what to do, half-hoping Teddy would find his way here....
