Saki gave a nod, listening to the lady.. Her outfit 'did' seem different from the others.. Nonetheless, his would too as it would be seen... Some 'others' customized there looks.. whereas he had just gotten his from a bag.. Less then a day ago... "Yeah... I came here to actually 'see' other people... I'm a new recruit.. Squad-wise...I.. Have no idea." He shrugged, thinking of what squad he should have been interested in... The 'Kidou' division seemed more his suit, due to his 'Type'.
"If me not having a rank or squad is a 'Bad Thing'.. then um.. I didn't know..?"

A decent attempt, she gave Sparky his props. Better to take a hit where it didn't count, as fencing taught. She mentally winced. His hand. That was going to be a major battle cripple. Amie reminded herself she couldn't be sympathetic. If she wanted him to get his shikai, she had to be firm. Her sword slipped away as he broke free, and Aimed a strike at her own shoulder. Regaining her balance, Amie put all her weight on her right foot, and pivot swung twords his side, and away from the blade's arc. The movement was fluid. It basically continued her sword's movement. She placed her left foot, and at the end of her twirl, aimed a quick jab at his side.

Shinji walked into what seemed to be the training field of the academy. He was really confused to the point he could be called dumb founded. One of the soul reapers at the academy told him to come here because he had shown apptitude to graduate to a full fledge shinigami. This confused Shinji even more as it his first as a student at the academy and he barely knew anything about well anything. "Hello is anybody here?" Shinji grabbed the hilt of his training zanpakuto as a way to reasure himself. Unlike most of his classmate Shinji had little to no self confidence. Even when the white haired shinigami told him he was going to be a death god, Shinji didn't believe it. Shinji rubbed the marking on his forehead. It was black circle about the width of a human thumb with a white line acting as the diameter. He had no idea how he the symbol even got to be there. All Shinji could remeber was that one day he woke and saw that there was this strange mark on his forehead. Even the teacher at the academy couldn't figure it out, and when one tried to use kido to look inside shinji mind he was nearly blasted across the room.
"I hope someone comes and helps me soon." Not knowing what else to do Shinji sat on the ground and sighed. "What is going on?"

Fancying a stroll through the training grounds, Tansen spotted a lone shinigami as he walked along. Judging by his appearance, and the fact that he had no squad marking on him, the younger shinigami concluded that the loner must have been a new recruit, fresh from the academy.
Curious as to why the stranger was on his own, Tansen let out a small sigh and walked over to the new shinigami to see if something was wrong. As a Captain of the Gotei Thirteen, he felt that it was part of his profession to make sure that things were running smoothly with the new recruits.
"Good afternoon. Is something the matter? I couldn't help but notice that you were by yourself."
