Danny nodded. "At least you had family." He sighed. "My mother died when she had me. And I've never met my father." He looked back at the building. "This is the closest I've had to a family."

Katherine blinked at him, "Oh, I'm sorry...." She bit her lip, forehead scrunched in thought, "Well then, I won't leave." She smiled at him, "I'll stay, and make this my new family." She gave him a thumbs up, "Ok?"

Katherine grinned, "Who said I was doing it for you?" She giggled and stood up, "Come on, let's go do something." She held out a hand to help him up.

Katherine followed, "So, you think you'll get fur and stuff too?"
Tomas began to search out Nicholas, he seemed to be the only person around and though, in all honesty, he was intimidated by Nicholas's presence he did it anyway.

Katherine blinked, "Well, all the other stuff that goes into being an animal, claws, teeth, a er... snout? muzzle? whichever." she scratched her cheek.

Danny blinked, he hadn't thought about a muzzle. "Claws and teeth I can deal with. But I'm not so sure about a muzzle."

Katherine's eyes widened, "Oh god, what if I get a beak??" She pressed her hands over her still human mouth and nose, "At least a muzzle's cute...." She sighed, "But that's quite an odd thing to picture," She looked at Danny, trying to put a muzzle on him in her mind.
