Rokugi had been to eager to finish that in his excitement he neglected all he had learned so far. To perform the technique he had to be calm and concentrated he couldnt take his abilities for granted just because somone told him he could become strong fast. Pulling his long sleeves back, the boy used his hand to clear some sweat from his forehead. " Dont worry, your doing fine just relax and concentrate, dont think too much about getting it over with." He spoke to his partner in a calm voice. He knew how it felt to fail consecutively at what one was doing, it had happened a lot to him while figthing hand to hand combat for self defense even, so he knew how frustrated one could get but he had learned the hard way that sometimes that frustrationwas in fact the cause of our failure. " You look exausted you should drink some water or eat something if you got food. Itll help with replenishing your energies." That said, Rokugi once a again stood straight as a staff with hands in front of him with the ram seal. He imagined a mirror around him reflecting the light but transforming it into a different image.

Rolaen slowly shook his head as Rokugi mentioned eating and drinking, rolling out his shoulders a bit as he reopened his eyes so that he could look over at the student he was training. "I'm afraid I've got neither on me, friend."
Running a hand over his hair, the red head watched as Rokugi didn't quite get the chakra flow correct with the henge. The faintest of smiles came onto his face as he rested his arm back onto his lap again, shaking his head slowly side to side. "Guess you were right about not always getting it right...."

Rokugi once again failed at his try. He was starting to think his begginer's luck was running out. Then again he didnt believe in luck at all so maybe he was just really tired right now. He stopped for a second to litsen to Rolaen and then walked towards the door of the clasroom. " Um, ill be right back" Taking two little bowls from the classroom, Rokuwalked over to the well and filled the two bowls with water. Roalen seemed to have missed the well at the entrance of the academy so Rokugi figured he could bring him some water then.
The boy walked inside again and went straight to Rolaen and handed him the bowl of water " Here you go, theres a well right outside. Its pretty convenient." Sitting back in his chair. He took a drink of the water and then looked at the paper to read it over again to try and figure out what was that he was missing. He had done it once , then what did he do wrong that he couldnt do it again?

Finishing his drink ,Rokugi set down his bowl and closed his eyes trying to rest them. Soon it would become night and theyd have to leave but he wanted to atleast finish this part of the training before he went home to sleep. His mind drifetd off into thinking what would tomorrow be like in the academy and what would they be learning? All this learning was making him hungry too so he figured he should go find some fruits and stuff to keep around.
Speaking of his home, Rokugi hadnt been to the dorms yet. He had been living in a tent near the beach during these two years. " Hey Rolaen. I read the News paper this morning and the Student dorm arrangements where placed there. I just remembered now we are placed together as room mates. I couldnt remember what the name next to mine was till now. So i guess we could head back together when we finish." This was Rokugi's chance to make a friend. He needed someone to train with. He had been training with Kane but Kane had a squad of her own now and he had more experience which he figured made it boring for Kane. With someone at his level training could be more fun and somewhat a competition.

Rolaen smiled in thanks as the bowl of water was handed to him, slowly drinking from it. As the cool water rushed down his throat, the red head's eyes fell closed, a sigh of relief escaping through his nose. Setting the bowl off to the side as it was finished off, the young Raiken stretched his arms above his head again, rolling out his shoulders in the process. "Thanks."
Settling his hands back into his lap, Rolaen blinked at his fellow student when he mentioned that they had been slated for being roommates. Grinning slightly, he nodded in agreement to the idea Rokugi had mentioned. "Sure...certainly better than walking alone."

Smiling shy because of His partner's answer Rokugi fixed himself up in the chair. He crossed his legs in front of him and waited. he needed to rest his body and if he conentrated enough he could tell when he had enough strength back. As he thought back into it images from pictures he had seen in the books came back to him. The chakra network, the different points of access and all those little medical stuff that had been found with research. Just like that he remembered one of the things he wanted to check up on. " Hey Rolaen, do you know any person in the village with Doujutsus?" If Rokugi found someone who possesed eye techniques maybe they knew about others, and they might know about his father.

The red head tilted his head off to the side as Rokugi mentioned doujutsus, his eyes glazing over for a few seconds as he ran through the small list of people on the island he knew. Finally, Rolaen tilted his head back to look at his training partner, looking sheepish as he slowly shook his head. "I'm afraid not. I haven't actually talked to many people on the island, outside of the people in our class and the teachers we've had. I'm not exactly big on socializing most of the time."
Admitting his inability of socialization, the Raiken shifted a bit, blinking a bit as he could feel his chakra starting to flare up again inside of him. Smiling to himself, he rested his hand over his stomach, which is where the drawings in all of the books marked as the center of the chakra flow. 'Almost there...almost.'

Rokugi could understand how the boy felt, he also was really shy when talking to others." Oh ok" He looked down to his feet for a moment and then stared off to the tip of his long robe sleeves. He needed to learn from somebody with a Doujutsu to learn how to control his. He didnt even know what they where capable of and the only one who knew where his clan but as spread as they where and as few it was near impossible to find them. " Well then. Here we go again" wraping his fingers one over the other, the boy positioned his handseal and took a deep breath. His chakra flowed and focusing it around his body he tried once again

Light reflected from the chakra around Rokugi but the colors thrown back where distorted and the image changed to reflect that of Rolaen. After holding the image for a little while it then dispersed and his image returned to normal. " allright now i just have to figure out how to keep it for a long time" Rokugi stretched his legs and arms as soon as the Genjutsu image dispersed. He wasnt sure of how to keep the image so just to not loose his control he became stiff as a rock when he transformed. His eyes where getting heavy from all the work of the day and Rokugi lifted his arms to scratch them. for a few moments his face was completely visible but as soon as he removed his hands the hair came back again to cover it for the exception of his right eye. Regaining his posture once again, is handseal in position he tried the jutsu once more.

Rolaen grinned slightly as he saw Rokugi again assume his shape. As the image dispersed, the red head rolled out his shoulders again, smiling a bit more as he closed his eyes to again turn his concentration inward. Mentally putting up an image of himself, he then turned twisted the image into that he'd seen of the human chakra flow diagram. Tracing his own chakra flow, he went from where he'd been focusing his chakra, which had been his fingertips, back to it's source, just around his stomach.
Frowning slightly in concentration, the young Raiken pursed his lips slightly as he tried to gauge his chakra's strength, blinking slightly in surprise as he noticed that it was fully replenished. 'Well there's a surprise....'

Instead of creating an image of Rolaen on his next try there simply came a weird hazy look. His own image look distorted and the colors of Rolaen and his own clothes scrambled around him. The image didnt last long and Rokugi sighed at his failure. " Almost there" He noticed that when eager and cocky about his success he always seemed to miss out his control over his chakra flow . Taking both hands over his stomach from the outside to the inside from below, Rokugi inhaled as he did so. His sleeves dangled from his arms and his pant belts jingled in a small tone. The hair over his forehead showed sings of being wet; as his forehead sweat, the hair absorbed it and removed it becoming humid, making his perfectly slick hair separate in thicker strings of hair that sticked to his forehead. With his right hand, covered with the robe sleeve, Rokugi stroke his hair trying to remove the sweat and dry it a bit. He spread the hair making sure it covered his face again. The returning his hands to a handseal, Rokugi concentrated back on his chakra. Covering his body it became somewhat a cloak and as the light around it hit him he forced the chakra to mirror the light into other colors as he had done before.

After almost an hour of wandering around aimlessly, Amane finally found herself upon the Academy. However, her horrible sense of direction didn't get any better on arriving. She failed to detect Rolaen or Rokugi inside their room, practicing some form of jutsu. Instead she ran towards the first door she saw with excitement! This door happened to lead to the broom closet. A loud crash echoed as she fell into the supply room, groaning in pain. As she slowly opened her eyes she found herself looking at a group of red, rubber balls. A smile slowly crossed her face as she began to think. She grabbed three of the balls along with some rope as she left the room.
Standing outside the academy, looking at a flat wall a wide grin was plastered on Amane's face. Three red balls were all in a line at her feet, and a long piece of rope was in her hand. She put her hands behind her back, and made a make shift bind. Both her hands wrapped themselves tightly around the rope, as she gave a confident grin. She began to bounce lightly on her feet, staring dead ahead at the wall, after a few quick moments, she gave a swift kick to the first ball, the next to following a second after. They flew at the wall with lightning speed, and with a loud kathunk, they began to fly back at Amane. The smile across her face never dimmed, not even for a second as she bent her legs and prepared herself for the combat. Though not real combat, rather a fight with herself. Without her hands of course, but really, who needed them, right?
Amane's Kick Ball! While most Taijutsu styles rely on hitting the opponent in the face until said face breaks, the Ashi clans fighting style is purely based on swift kicks to softer regions of the body that can't be toughened by muscle as easily. In order to mimic the feeling of the opponent quickly trying to move and dodge, a game of hard ball is in order! Three rubber balls must be acquired from the supply room of the academy, then you must find a flat wall (against the academy outside, or the Grade 2 Classroom should do). Next kick each ball, immediately after one another. From there on out it's easy, you must not use your hands, and the balls can not touch the ground. Can you keep up with your swift kicks to keep the balls from loosing speed? 1d20+ Taijutsu DC: 12 + Taijutsu Train: 1/3 DC Fail: -2 hp (getting hit by a speed ball hurts!)

Amane's eyes were concentrated on the red rubber balls, as they flew towards her, she began her strike. She bent her leg and kicked from the knee, launching the first ball up into the air. She had no time to think about what else to do, the other balls were flying straight towards her, she took her leg that was out, and bent it back. Suddenly rolling on the foot planted into the ground, she kicked scooping the second ball up. Her hands tightened around the rope as she took a sharp incline of breath. Though it seemed like a lot, this was all happening in a matter of seconds. She spun all the way around, and flung the ball she was holding into the one that was flying at her. It flew past towards the wall, vaulting the third ball into the air with the first. She spun backwards and kicked herself into a backwards flip, with her legs bent at the knees in air, she turned them into a scissor form, and then kicked the next two balls, landing dramatically, with dust flying out from under her feat, in a semi squat getting ready for the next barrage of rubber balls.
She let out the breath she took in earlier. Time was now slow to her, her hands still pulsated around the rope, however in that half second it took for the balls to rebound they loosened. Ultimately she only tensed up while she was attacking, however when moving at these speeds who could pick up the loosening grip? She didn't even notice, really. As her eyes concentrated on the moving objects she thought of the road ahead of her, what she would have to do to become a shinobi. A grin crossed her face, all of the sudden this seemed like nothing

Amane began to close her eyes. However it wasn't closing her eyes, it was simply a blink. However in the current situation, it might as well have been closing her eyes. She jumped up and twirled in the air, bringing her heel to the first ball. As she spun through the air the first rubber ball launched at the other two (which were now coming at the exact same time). It hit one of them, at an upward angle. This made the ball that Amane launched go upwards towards the wall, and the one Amane's ball launched went down, changing its direction, speed, and of course ending up going towards the ground. However this did make it so she would have a moment in between strikes, which was an important thing since it was hard to hit two things at once. She let go of the rope and brought one hand to the ground, going into a cartwheel. In her cartwheel she hit the second ball, however now she was concerned about the ball heading towards the ground. She didn't spring to her feet like a traditional cartwheel. But instead fell flat, bending her arm and pushing so she would slide towards the ball. Her left foot caught it and kicked it into the air about an inch and as it stalled her right came back around, hitting it straight towards the wall. She was quickly on her way to roll back up by the next rebound.
She took in a breath of air as she watched the movements of the balls. The way they seemed to flatten as they crashed into the wall. Though time seemed slow, it wasn't as though she had any form of Doujutsu. Rather it was how she perceived things when she was like this. In a way she hated it. This was why she wanted to go fast, she wanted to see the world like everyone else. Though these wishes and thoughts didn't matter now, all that mattered was concentrating on the task at hand

As Amane rolled up to her feet, she saw the ball rushing at her head. She knew she couldn't stop what was about to happen, so instead she loosened her hands so the rope became loose, giving her movement in them again. The ball crashed into her face, sending her down to the ground. He nose ran red hot, in a few seconds it would be obvious that it was bleeding, however for now it was just a secret kept between her and the ball. As she fell back her right hand reached out, pushing her into a handstand. Quickly she fell, moving onto her back, flinging her legs around, if one were a break dancer they would call this similar to the Windmill. She quickly scooped up the two other balls that were flying at her, and sprang up into the air in a back flip. One kick, the right legged ball flew. Two kick, the left. She landed again, bending her legs in an almost exaggerated manner. The ball that had pegged her spun around in mid air as she jumped up, turning her body sideways, extending a leg out, and spinning. Her heal met the ball and it was sent flying towards the wall with the other two. As she landed the trickle of blood from her nose was now apparent.
Her eyes showed determination, if anyone saw her now, they would never guess that this girl was the one who had forgotten a mans name after a minute. Or the girl that got her apartments confused and accidentally left her bags in the wrong room... For now, her mind was at focus, however at the same time this made her oblivious to everything else around her.
