When she felt the robe being laid on her, her body calmed down slightly. She tried to smile but it was hard to when all of these bad images kept popping up in your mind. "Kioko...chan..." She mumbled to herself as she bit her lip.

Kioko came back with a container of water and a cloth to put on her forehead to calm down the fever.
"shhs, its okay Jackie. You're going to be okay, you just need to rest okay?"

Jackie immediately calmed down when she felt Kioko's touch against her skin, as well as her soothing words. She felt her tense muscles finally relax...'At the end of all of this...' She thought in her mind. 'I have to...tell her how I...I feel about her...'

Crow had been following behind Max and Strobe calmly for the time, it didn't seem like there was any need to rush. However he soon felt fading, and even morphing auras of Ki from the campsite, something was definately wrong there. Without altering the time flow, his body began to glow with bright blue flames and he ran ahead of Max and Strobe, but not so much that he'd completely lose them. It only took him moments to reach the campsite again, and by the time he had he found that it was Kioko and Jackie's signatures that had undergone the effects. He didn't take a second to allow explanation, his aura of Ki flared up into an inferno-like blaze that blew the trees crooked. He was angered by the injuries to his friends, but in truth he had no idea where to place the blame, his eyes glanced accusingly at the newcomers for a moment, but then traveled to Kioko, he desperately needed to know what had happened.

"sorry" max growled at strobe. he wimpered at the sound of his own voice, and a single teardrop seperated and landed on strobe. "i really need to hurry. im sorry if im going too fast, but i dont want to hurt anybody." he wimpered. "whats wrong max?" patrick asked him, concerned. "dont worry about it right now, please. youll find out later." he sped up slightly, trying to hurry, but also trying not to leave strobe

Realizing how animalistic he was acting, Max's conditions suddenly dawned of Strobe.
"You know, I can lead Patrick back to the campsite, Max, if you need to hurry." He said, hoping Max woudl get there before any... Drastic changes presented themselves.

Kioko surprised by the sudden appearance of Crow dropped the cloth she was holding and stood up. Judging from his appearance, he looked terribly mad, did something happen? She then looked at her surroundings. The land was raised with earth spikes, the ground had craters from the punches, duh!
"hi crow, back already?" Kioko said trying to make light conversation
"ehe, ummm, funny thing about the damage actually, it's the conclusion of a little sparring?" she said weakly, trying not to get Crow madder.
I have to tell them about Jackie's other, but only when everyone comes back Kioko said wincing from the pain on her side.

max slowed to a stop and set patrick down on the sidewalk. "dont let him get hurt strobe, or so help me, you will be in pieces. ill probably be alseep when you two get there. be safe." he wanted to hug patrick, but he was scared he might lose control, so he set off at an inhuman pace, running on all fours like a real leopard would. "so your name is strobe? hey, correct me if im wrong, but i heard him leave with four footfalls instead of two. was he running on all fours like i think he was?" patrick was facing forward because he had not heard where strobe stopped at.

Jackie squirmed slightly from under the heavy robe that Kioko put over her body. He fever was finally starting to go down as her eyes fluttered open. "Ugh...Kioko-chan? Wh...What happened to us?" She asked as she sat up, holding her head in her hands, massaging her temples slightly. "Great. Now I have a killer head ache..." She mumbled before looking up at Crow, blinking a few times, to make sure that it was really him. "Crow? What are you doing back so early? Where are Max...and Strobe?" She asked as she tried to get up but fell on her butt slightly, still to weak to get up.

Crow's aura diminished slowly, accompanied with a dumbfounded look upon his face, it wasn't the cause he'd been expecting. He took another look around, unsure at first, but Kioko and Jackie's auras were surely the ones that had seen the changes, and it seemed that they were both alright. He smiled, then laughed, the closest thing to a human sound he'd made in quite some time. The temporary change in Jackie's Ki signature was still a mystery to him, but it didn't bother him, they were safe after all. He turned silently and pointed towards the woods, showing that Max and Strobe would not be long behind him, he certainly hoped that they took well to a human staying with them.

"Yes, he was, but we can talk about that when we get there. For people like us, who don't have super speed, it'll take just a little longer." Strobe said as he forcibly cooled his hand to what he believed normal human body temperature would be. He took Patrick's hand and began to lead him into the forest.

"they really messed him up good huh. and what was he getting worried about? please tell me. oh my gosh, your burning up! are you feeling ok?" he had so many questions but he really was concerned about both of them.

Kioko smiled knowing that Jackie was okay. she then frowned at what she was going to be telling them.
"umm, correct me if i am wrong, but i think you have a dark side yah?" Kioko said sitting down
