"Let's take you back in." Otaki held up Shadow by the arm and brought him inside. He set him on the couch and sat beside him.

The song that Rebecca picked was fast from the start and only got faster as it went on. Rebecca was maintaining combos and enjoying the song like it was normal for her, but Theron thought otherwise as he did all he could to keep up. They were both on heavy since that was the only difficulty Rebecca made her customs songs on.
Theron panted heavily after it, earning a B while Rebecca got an A and seemed not winded at all. "Come on, Theron, you know I'm going to end it with Legend of Max , you can't be tired now...But you did well for that song, I'll give you that." She gave her little brother a smile as she mentioned for him to pick the next song. Theron regained his energy back and went to pick another fast song, Sakura from the list that was on the actual machine. Theron did better on this song, it started out fast, but had a bit of a break in the middle (a slower part) and then sped up to the fastest part there after. Theron managed to get an A this time along with his sister.
Rebecca smiled at her brother again as she picked the bane of Theron's DDR skill, Legend of Max . She winked at Theron as she pressed the start button, barely giving her brother anytime to rest. The song started very fast, so fast that you could barely see the arrows as they zoomed by on screen. Theron steadied his breathing as he managed to maintain his combos with his sister's. He could feel his leg starting to give way as they reached the only break in the song. He used this time to get the rest of his energy ready. The final sets of arrows came on screen and Theron did his best to hang in there, as his dance bar went dangerously low. He then focused himself and got the bar back to half way when the song ended.
He dropped to his knees and panted heavily, never before could he even finish the song, and now he had gotten a C on it. Rebecca embraced him from behind and said, "I'm so proud of you! You could never get that one!" she peck him on the cheek endearingly before helping him up.

Rose went up stairs to check on her e-mail. She saw the siblings and gave them a small wave. Silently she slid into a compture chair and looked at her e-mails. A few from her dad, one from a boy and another from someone she didn't know.
"That's odd..."
She opened the email from someone she didn't know. Reading the first few lines she was shocked.

Elli walked into the house, and walked around the house, utterly bored. Her phone rang as soon as she walked by the room Otaki was in. She answered it, and leaned against the wall.
"Mom?" She paused listening to her mother. "What? I can't understand you.." Her eyes widened, and she was silent. "I-I'm fine..." She shook her head. "No... I'll be back in time... I'll see you..." She hung up, and slumped down, sitting on the floor.
"Daddy..."

Otaki saw Elli, and she seemed down. He walked over to her and kissed her on the forehead. "What's wrong?"

Elli shook her head. "I-I'm fine..." She whispered, trying not to sound like she was about to burst into tears. She wasn't ready to tell anyone yet. "I-I need to go talk to Rose..." She stood up, and walked towards the area she saw Rose walk towards.

"Alright.. just tell me when you want." Otaki was worried as he watched her walk away. He went to the kitchen and grabbed a glass of milk.

Rebecca helped Theron over to the coach to lay down to get some rest. She then walked over to Rose and said, "What's up, sorry for blowing you off back then, but Theron's been desperate to see me." She then noticed that Rose was checking her e-mail and looked away as she took the seat beside her.

Elli tapped Rose on the shoulder. "I need to talk to you." She whispered. "Please... I need to leave this weekend."

Otaki decided to go into the game room, and try the DDR machine. He ran upstairs and noticed Elli and Rose were in there and he didn't want to interrupt so he just grabbed his guitar and went to the roof.
