As her smile faded, Nolen's own did as well. Blinking, he set her down as she asked. The male lion stared at her for a long time before his lips completely pursed themselves together and he offered only a shrug to her before he hurried outside to the carpet. He picked it up and with a heave, it was tossed into the air and landed on top of the caravan. Nolen popped his head in, eyes glancing with a steady observation of her. "Ready to go?"

As he lowered her down, Sayuri straightened, smiling in apology to him. "Sorry to ruin the fun." She murmured, walking over to the desk, carefully putting the carvings back where they had been. She gazed at one for a short bit, hearing the thud on the ceiling, glancing over to the door, her gaze lingering as he poked his head in. "Yep." She then walked out, her tail swinging from side to side, her ears standing to attention once more. "So! What would you like to do now?" She asked with a smile, now seemingly fine.

Although Nolen hardly seemed mad or annoyed, not even concerned really, he was much more calmed down and relaxed, green eyes looking at her dully when she came out. The lion kinda shrugged at her question. "Not sure. What do you want to do?" He smiled gently to her, those green eyes focused on her. His tail was now calmly swaying left to right. Nolen was a very smart lion; he knew when fun times were just ruined by memories. That was how he knew it was time to let her choose their next activity.

Sayuri blinked a little, scratching behind her neck fur, randomly scratching passionately at her ear for a second. "Hmm...Well, we could go swimming. Um... I could play my cello, but that would most likely make you bored so nevermind. Um... is there anything you really wanted to know about my people and stuff? You definitely seem more of the city type if it's alright for me to say." She said the last part softly, biting her lower lip in case she was bringing up something unpleasant, her magenta eyes finding his. I hope I'm not...

At that mention, Nolen cocked a brow at her before he leaned in close and spoke very low with a playful grin. "I won't tell if you won't tell." He then winked at her before he came to sit down beside a tree near the caravans. "Well, honestly you are the first person I am meeting who is not a city anthro so please, tell me about your people." He stretched, leaning back against the bark, with his arms crossed behind his head, emerald eyes shining up at Sayuri. He almost appeared like a boy waiting for a bedtime story.

Sayuri smirked, chuckling softly as she sat down next to him, her tail brushing his arm with a small flick, leaning against the trunk of the tree. "Alright. Lets see.... anything in particular I should start with since there is a lot I could talk about and don't honestly know where to start?" She looked down to him, he was too adorable for his own good.

Nolen smirked. "Well, there's a long story waiting to be told! We can't possibly let it go with cutting it off short can we?" He smiled before he moved to lay in the grass, on his stomach, his arms and hands holding up his head to stare up at her, tail swishing behind him. "Lets start with what I think is the beginning: when you first came to be a traveling gypsy. Or if you've been one your whole life, tell me about your parents."

Sayuri gulped a little, she didn't to go overboard with the tale telling since she would probably get in trouble with her people for it. "If you insist so." She chuckled a little, brushing her purple hair back, stretching a little with a yawn. Blinking a little, she seemed to purse her lips a little in thought, looking up to the sky. "Oh boy... Lets see..... my parents....Um, I didn't really get a chance to know my dad since he got killed in one of the raids. All I can remember of him was the smell of cinnamon and a soft voice... warmth. Then there was my mother whom was one of the dancers. She had long black hair.... She was the lemur and I'm not sure about my dad. Blue-grey eyes that remind you of the ocean. She sang too, she sounded like a nightingale to me."

A distant smile had grown across her features, closing her eyes as she hummed softly for a few moments, swaying side to side. She lowered her eyes to him with a grin, giggling a little. "I was surrounded by brothers though. Had three of them, and an older sister that came to visit briefly before going off somewhere... I dunno where." She brought her knee's into her chest, resting her chin on them as she looked at him.

Nolen looked at her curiously. Question time. "So do your siblings still live with you here in this caravan now? How did you come to travel with this bunch? How many people live here roughly? Have you lived here long? What was the last place you stopped at?" He stopped there, allowing the girl to have time to answer the first batch of questions before he would bombard her with more.

Sayuri couldn't help but blink a little at the amount of questions asked, thinking of each answer before she actually spoke. "No, they don't. Two brothers found wives elsewhere, the last died fighting for us against those who hate our people. We've always lived with them. At least for as long as I can remember. Umm.....I'm not sure about an exact number.. At least three families, me, Tsuki, Lady Naomi, um...some others. Hard to judge for me. The last place was over at that tower." She pointed in the direction of where they had been, smiling softly as she cocked her head, ears twitching as her tail curled into her arms. "Next batch?" She could feel the waves of questions he wanted to ask, her eyes seeming to twinkle a little.

"What is your favorite place to be at: forest, city, suburbs, deserts, etc.? What is your favorite kind of music to play? What do you do when you aren't performing? What do you eat?" He would keep it simple to give her time to think it out. However, the lion was already thinking ahead. "Do you like to climb trees? Do you like to swim? Do you like to run?" He wasn't certain what her species was like, as he was bound to canines a lot.

Again Sayuri waited a moment to think of her answer, processing it all as she scrunched up her nose in thought. "Oh boy... I'd have to say the forest is my favorite place to be because I always have a need to climb trees. Though I love the ocean since I love to swim too. And yes, I like to run. But lets see, I like playing a range from classical to rock on my cello or by singing. I'll help the guys hunt, or I'll be playing around with them. I eat just fruits and insects. I tried eating venison once and I got really sick. So I can't really eat meat." She answered, chuckling at how curious he was.

"Only one last question." Nolen smiled at Sayuri before he yawned, and once again that calm, relaxed look came over his face. He rested his arms against the ground, using them as a pillow as he laid down. "Does a nap sound good to you right about now?" He could be sooo lazy if he felt that he could get away with it. However, being that this was the first person he met, he didn't know what he could and could not get away with. So why not test some boundaries huh?

"Alright then." Sayuri just grinned, straightening a little, letting go of her legs to stretch. His yawn was contagious, having her yawning the next moment as well, holding onto her own tail. "Mmmm..... Yeah... it does." She laid back at a diagonal to him, curling up while letting go of her tail which twitched just a little. She didn't quite close her eyes yet though, she just stared at the sky above, watching the clouds go by, not quite tired enough yet. After all, she had just taken a nap when he first got there.

Little did Sayuri know, Nolen was secretly just buying time to come up with an idea to repent for his crime of making her sad, even for a brief moment. So as he laid there, very still and quiet for a moment, eyes shut he was planning and plotting. Green eyes flashed open as a thought occurred to him. BINGO! He jumped up to his feet. He leaned over her with a bright smile to check if she had fallen asleep yet or not. If she was, then he had a great idea on how to make up to her his passed transgressions. However, if she were still awake, then his plans would have to change now wouldn't they?
