Glad to see my squad consolidating. smile Now that everybody's had time to get their extra stuff in, let's get back to it!
The air elemental, furious, swoops in to attack Steven, but one attack gets pulled to hit Cho. The Air Elemental contributes a Smash to his damage on Cho, but Cho's Defensive Hold prevents it with ease. Neither attack is able to defeat the defenses of their targets.
The water elemental moves in and headbutts imperial before throwing an energy burst at Steven to help his air elemental compatriot out. The spell his Steven for sixteen damage, but doesn't manage to take him down.
As the party counter-attacks, they are able to switch from defense to offense. imperial and Cho attack the air elemental together, with a team up attack score of seven versus a defense of one. imperial is able to convert his four combat dice from defense to damage, so the elemental takes sixteen damage.
Gaorin and Steven team up on the water elemental, combining for a mighty attack score of eighteen versus a defense of five. Gaorin, un-touched by the elementals, is able to convert his fifteen from his combat dice into damage resulting in a powerful teamup that drops the unfortunate elemental.
The air elemental howls with fury, but flies far up into the air and seeks to escape the battle, unless anyone has a ranged spell.
At the end of the quick but successful combat:
Gaorin: 10/15 Life, 2 AP, 5 MP. Cho Aran: 11/30 Life, 3 AP, 5 MP. Steven: 2/25 Life, 5 AP, 5 MP. imperial: 16/20 Life, 2 AP, 5 MP.
Party pool: 5 AP, 5 MP.

As soon as the air elemental was gone gaorin jumped onto the tree he noticed earlier. Quickly scanning the area, gaorin found the goblin and dived towards his location.
The creature was near drowning when gao tossed him onto the shore, but still alive.

"Now were in a mess of trouble." Scanning the skies he suppressed a shiver and turned toward Gaorin. "Hope that half drenched monster gives you information valuable enough to stave off more of those things or hypothermia."

Dragged out of the water turning blue, the goblin manages to cough out some water and start breathing again. As soon as he has oxygen in his system again, he starts flailing around hysterically, much like when he was in the grips of the water elemental. He seems to not even notice you in his madness, and he's screeching something in goblin tongue; the only piece you are able to make out with your minimal experience with goblin languages is something about "heretical creatures."
His outburst only lasts for a few seconds as he exhausts the small amout of air in his lungs again, and is forced to take stock of his situation. He looks around and sees no elementals, and that these humans are not attempting to kill him. Still panting, he attempts to catch his breath but manages to say in a wide-spread trade language "thank you."

Steven, exhausted from the battle, began to regain his balance. He had taken a beating, but at least he was still alive. any more damage and he thought he might have died. He decided it was best that he drank a couple of his potions (Potion of Healing (Heal 10 damage) X 2) to make him feel a bit better, before trying anything else.
After drinking down the potions, Steven walked over to the goblin until he stood about 5 metres from him then asked: "Why were you being attacked by your own...." Steven hesitated, "Gods?" He concluded, not sure if this was a correct term to use.
