Cal gave them each a small grin and quickly had both locked beneath his paws.
"Just going for a stroll boys, now why don't you two get going before Loba puts you to work again. " He chuckled softly at his pups as they scurried away back to the stream and returned his attention to Loba. "I don't know, you know how the toads are. The smallest quarrels will send them flying to whoever is near the problem to spread the news. But they have always been right about the problem no matter how small. If something is troubling the woods and it concerns us, then we shall face it. But for now I think it'd be best to go home and think it over."

"You're right Master Cal." She said quietly as the pups giggled and laughed in the water. "I guess I will head back to the den with them, as they didn't have any dinner yet." She sighed. "Have you seen Liddy and Wotcher?" She asked. "Wotcher could definatly use on Fatherly comfort." She said.

"I've heard what happened already from Liddy... she said that she would leave him there to sleep while she went out. He'll be fine, but Loba do make sure they don't do it again." Cal asked with a serious tone as he staggered to his feet.
"Come on boys. It's time for dinner." He called turning slowly and making his way back towarsds the den.

"of course." She said with an obediant bow of her head. 'Behave yourselves." she told the boys sternly as they walked pass.

Arch looked back at Lady Liddy slightly startled by her sneaking behind him, "I don't mind, I kinda understand, worry usually occupies most of our mind. I think there might be trouble amongst the forest surrounding us. I'm not sure what it is, but it seems quite a situation." He looked back toward the river front, "Shi shi is talking to some kind of fox with a squirrel by it's side. Know anything of it?"

Shi shi sat in the clearing with the fox and squirrel for awhile in deep conversation. She gave a sigh and stood up stretching her front legs, before she turned to start out of the forest. "Mesh stay low for awhile and find out more of the clans movememnts. If they come anywhere close to this home we will have to act, and act quickly. She stopped walking and turned again. "Tint I advise that you come with me and stay where I can care for you, after how they treated you like that, I don't think that the clan will welcome you back without harm." Tint nodded and sprang foward hopping onto Shi shi's back and gripping at the fur behind Shi shi's neck to hold on. After this she ran foward making her way toward the waterfall.

Kyo sat where he had been, mulling over how tranquil the clearing was. This haven was safe from any outside harm, it was its own place in the clouds of time after all. The mountains that lay off in the distance made a full circle around it after awhile so none could come from outside of them, save for the rapid river that cut through them a far good distance down river from the den. But if trouble could not come from without, than it would probably would come from within, things could never be quiet. He gave a small sigh, the side of his face that had the scar seemed to tremble with pain for a short while than was still as he faded off into thought.

"But I believe the fox and squirrel are messangers for us and inform us about other clan movements... but I'm not sure. You should really ask Cal about that sort of thing..." Liddy's eyes moved slowly as her pups, Loba, and Cal began their walk back to the den. "We best be getting back now..."

Arch nodded his head in understandment, "Got it, Lady Liddy. I will talk to Lord Cal soon enough about this. Hopefully, it's nothing." He watched the alpha female walk off and looked back at the river front, "If anything were to happen, I don't think Kyo will let it go without a fight. I better find out more before I see him." With that he left the wake and slumbered for a bit.

Kyo fell out of the tree, landing softly in a crouched position as he hit the ground. His eyes focused on one target, the cool water. He stretched his back out, seemingly growing to twice his usual length. Than slowly moved to drink from the water, the sunlight glinting off of it.

Arch awoke gently and stretched his back, popping some of the bones in his back. He then got on all fours and started off toward the den, 'Where is Lord Cal?'

The black orbs watched the form of Arch as the wolf moved towards the den, a small smile lighted his face as he drank from the cool river. The tail was wrapped around his form, a small dark shadow out in the open, underneath the light of the sun.

"I'm here..." Cal retorted tiredly, not moving from his place against the back wall of the den. He raised his head from the top of his paws and narrowed his eyes on the wolf at the entrance, trying to see the figure more clearly. "Who is looking for me...?"

"It is I, Arch of the Hunters, Lord Cal. I was hoping to have a word with you, if you allow it that is." The young wolf bowed his head in respect and formality. He looked back up hoping to be allowed to talk to his lordship, about the scenes that took place yesterday. He needed to be put at ease.

Kyo continued his patient watch from the side of the river, moving from the wet ground to lie on top of a sunwarmed rock. He played a simple mind game with himself to keep awake, forming different shapes out of the clouds that lazily drifted overhead.
