The girl blinked as he crouched down beside her, lowering the blanket a little. "Ahh.." she thought carefully for several moments but couldn't really think of anything that would fit her. "I-I don't know." she murmured quietly, watching Shade's face as one of her slender hands automatically clutched to the collar she wore without her noticing.

Hearing that the girl couldn't remember anything wasn't quite what Shade wanted to hear, but despite that he couldn't help liking her. "I'm sure we can think of something later. In the meantime, would you like to see the rest of our settlement. I admit it is small, but it's still better than than sitting here." He smiles at her encouragingly and offers his hand.

The girl blinked, lowering the blanket more until her face could be seen again, seeming to perk up a bit. "A-alright, sounds like fun." she said, offering him a tentive and a bit of a shy smile as one of her slender hands gently held onto his. She managed pull herself half-way up, but her wounds were hindering her efferts.

Shade helps the girl to her feet. "Lean on my shoulder until you can walk okay?" He leads her to the enterance of the cave and gestures out at the forest, shrouded in smoke and fog. "Welcome to the forest of Gatha."

She couldn't help but blush as she leaned on his shoulder, walking as best as she could along side of him. She didn't think she had been so close to another person before, especially not a man. The girl blinked at the forest, her eyes widening a bit. "It's..it's so lovely..!" she said in her soft voice, staring out at the seemingly endless sea of trees.

He smiles again. "Yes, it has that effect no matter how many times you see it. Despite how bad things have become in this world, the site of this forest always gives me hope."

The girl quietly nodded, using Shade for support as she gazed at the beautiful sight. "Hope.." she said softly, her free hand moving to lightly slide her slender fingers under the collar as she held onto it. "Hope is something that everyone needs." she said quietly, her pretty eyes still straining to see the end of the forest.

Glancing over at her after her statement Shade notices the girl playing with her coller. "What's that you have there?" He askes as he leads her down from the cave into the forest.

She blinked, walking as best as she could beside him. "H-huh..?" she blinked, just now noticing she had a collar. "Oh..I don't know.." she murmured, looking down at her arm which was holding onto the collar.

"Really?" He stops to to examine the coller. "It must be important to you in some way." Looking closer he sees something written on the coller. "What does it say there?"

The girl blinked before carefully letting go so he could see better, her face turning a bit red from how close he was. "I-I suppose.." she murmured before shaking her head, indicating that she couldn't see it while she was wearing it.

Shade reaches for the clasp on the coller, then stops before touching it. He looks into her eyes with his own shining slightly in the fog of the woods. "May I?"

She swallowed nervously before nodding her head, her face still red. Her words were sticking in her throat, so she couldn't do much more than nod.

Gently he unclasps the coller and holds it up gazing at the lettering he suddenly smiles. "How fitting, and so soon after discussing how important hope is." Shade gently places the coller in her hands. "You should hold onto that. I've a feeling it is very important."
