Chris looked at Jennifer and he suddenly began to cry but shut the tears so that she wouldnt see. Liu Kang said, " Master Bo Rai Cho, That man that we barely escaped from just now. Was he one of the kombatants when Shujinko was around? I swear that i heard him say that he worked for Shao Kahn and Scorpion as well." Bo Rai Cho looked at Liu Kang and the others. He then said, " Yes, Meat was a hero at one point. But that was when he was known as Drahmin. Drahmin was a nueturel form of Meat and the second form of Darius." Johnny Cage looked at Chris and said with a sudden calmness in his voice, " Chris, If anything happens to me. I want you to take care of Jennifer. In the future there are going to be many battles and some to come after." Chris looked back and johnny and nodded in agreement. Chris then turned back to Jennifer and said, " We will finish this. We will do it for Domnus and for my entire family who were killed 3 years ago by a unkown evil. Once this quest is done, We shall have peace."

Johnny looked at Jennifer, His eye's were starting to fill with the shock of terror as he was suddenly hit from behind by a man in a dark suit. Liu Kang suddenly let out a gasp and said, " Noob Saibot, What are you doing here? If you have come to kill us then im afraid that i cant let you do that." Noob Saibot stared at Liu Kang and glared. He then said, " Chris, I need to talk to you in private. It is about what happened to your family three years ago. There is going to be a battle at the old battle pyramid where Blayze was defeated by your uncle Davik. If we do not act quick, Then all those you love or cherish will be destroyed." Chris looked at Noob Saibot confuesed and said, " Davik isnt my uncle, My uncle is Shujinko who died a little while after my parents. I dont believe you came to be friendly and give me this advice for no reason..." Noob Saibot turned away and said, " Chris, Believe it or not. Davik is your long lost uncle. Sub Zero, Brother can you please fill Chris in on the details. Oh, Jennifer. Your dad is going to wake up any minute now so dont tell him that i was here ok." Noob Saibot vanished into the tree's in a matter of seconds.

Chris turned to Jennifer and said, " I dont believe him, But i think he might be right about me and Davik being related. I have a pic of my parents and him in my house and they are all standing in a hotspring in the overrealm." Johnny Cage started to groan as he got up very slowly. He then said, " Ouch, What hit me? It felt like i was struck by Chun Li using her rapid kicks." Everybody laughed at the comment, Chris thought that he could hear his deceased mothers voice. It sounded like she was saying, " Chris, Listen to me. What Noob Saibot said is all true except for Davik being your uncle. He was just a good family friend." Chris suddenly felt sick and leaned over the hole that all of them had climbed out of and he began to up chuck his lunch.

Chris just kept vomiting from getting used to the air when he suddenly passed out next to the hole. Johnny quickly ran over and picked up Chris, He then said, " He passed out, We have to get him back to his place so that he can allow his body to relax." Johnny quickly ran with the other's besides him to Chris's home. Once there, Johnny opened the door and carried Chris to the sofa where he set Chris down gently. Liu Kang went up to Chris's parents room where he grabbed a warm blanket and put it over Chris so that he wouldnt freeze. Johnny turned to Jennifer and said, "Can you stay here for a few nights and keep a close eye on him? He only passed out from getting back up to the surface where the air was flowing. He just needs to relax and he should be fine in the morning. Or he could quite possibly be fine in a few days, But im not a genius when it comes to doctoring people." As they all looked at Chris, Liu Kang cleared his throat and said, " I am going to go and search for Kenshi, Maybe he knows why the winds have changed to the foul blow that they have."

Johnny turned to Jennifer and playfully messed up her hair. Johnny then said, " Thanks Jennifer, You are starting to become more and more like your mother everyday. It wouldnt surprise me if you ended up marrying Chris either, He is a good guy and would defend those that he loved as well." There was a sudden sound of Tarkatans in the village yet again. Johnny, Sub-Zero, Bo Rai Cho and Liu Kang rushed out the front door and shut it behind them. Jennifer was then alone with Chris who began to have a weird dream. In the dream, Chris was standing on the clouds when his mother walked up to him. Chris's mom put her hand on his shoulder and said, " Son, I know that you miss all of us, But that doesnt mean that you need to keep remembering the horrible day that it happened. Your sisters, Father and Brothers including myself are always watching over you and protecting you." Chris's dream self suddenly burst out and began to cry. While crying, His dream self said, " But mom, I cant forget how you all protected me from that four armed freak. I DONT WANT TO FORGET! I want revenge on him for killing all of you guys." In reality, Chris's body was squirming and twitching under the covers of the blanket.

After shaking for a few minutes, Chris's body relaxed and became still again. In the dream realm, Chris was still crying because he mother left and his brother's sopped in front of him. One of Chris's brothers, A 20 year old man with orange hair said, " Chris, Listen to us. Wake up from this dream. If you stay here for another minute then you will get stuck here and never be able to save Earthrealm from the evil's that lay asleep." Chris stopped crying and looked very solemn for a moment. He suddenly said, " IM NOT GOING TO ABANDON THIS QUEST! I WILL HAVE PEACE FOR YOU MOM ALL MY SISTERS YOU GUYS AND DAD! I also promise to marry the one that i love and never to leave her." The orange haired man kneeled down and handed Chris a red headband, Chris looked up at his brother and said, " What is this for? I didnt do anything to deserve this." The orange haired man then said, " This is a friend of mines. His name is Ryu and he was around a long time ago. He told me to give it to a sibling that is younger then me so i decided, 'Hey why not my dear little brother Chris?'" Chris looked at his brother's and suddenly woke up from the dream. He looked around his house and then at Jennifer who was next to him on the couch. Chris then said, " What happened to me? It feels like i saw my dead family but yet i havent." Chris lifted up his hand and saw the headband that his older brother had given him in the dream and began to cry. While crying, Chris said, " Why did it have to happen to them? I swear to god that if i ever see Goro again that i will kick his a** so far that he will wish that he never killed my family." Chris sat there for a few moments not really knowing what he just said.

Chris looked at Jennifer, He stopped crying and raised the headband and put it on his lap for her to see. Chris then said, " This headband was something my brother gave me in a dream i had just now. He said that it belonged to some Ryu person from when my brother was young. I honestly have no idea of what just happened. I remember puking my guts out near that hole and blacking out. But i just cant seem to remember much about the dream except that in it i saw all my dead family members." Chris breathed deeply for a few minutes, Trying to regain his calm. He then brought the headband up from his lap and tied it onto his forehead. Chris climbed off the couch and headed to the kitchen to get something to drink when he almost collapsed onto the floor. He grabbed onto a croner of the wall and regained his balance. Chris said, " My strength must not be all the way back yet. I might need some more time to get it all back. If your willing to stay with me until it all returns to me, I would be happy to let you stay with me."
