LadyWillow Anyone seen Les Miserables? My city's community theater group is putting it on currently, we just started shows last week and we're running for another week yet. I was lucky enough to be chosen to play Fantine, and I have a recording of myself singing I Dreamed a Dream. Let me see if the Yousendit link is still working... Damn, it's expired. Well, I'm uploading it again, as well as myself singing 'Think of Me'... Oooh, I have a recording of me singing Wishing... as well.. hmmmmm... I sing Les Mis songs better than Phantom, Christine is too high for me. I'm a mezzo and her higher notes kill my throat. But I do try. wink I'll put the links up as SOON as they're done. ^_^ I'm actually going to see Les Mis in October at the Saenger here. Finally getting back into the habit of blowing money on musicals. On the subject of the topic at hand: I'm not sure if it's my mic or what, but I sound horrid when recorded. (hehe, I rhymed) But I may upload any songs I have the karaoke tracks to (Jekyll & Hyde, PotO, Wicked) when I have the time and the recording is decent. I lost my comp's voice recorder so I bastardize my EVP recorder. ^^;

I recorded myself singing on my own by Eponine earlier,
it should still be up and working on yousendit it's on the front page or second.
I can do mezzo and soprano parts as well
though lower is easier most of the time,
if I'm not properly warmed up.
You are lucky to have that part,
Fantine has an amazing role in Les Mis!

Oh and if I may, one comment on Olivia's voice, you sound a little nasely (I can't really spell) Solution....I have no idea anymore, I had the same problem a couple years ago. So I'm not trying to be a big butt head. But you do have a beautiful voice! Though I do not know that last song, it sounded good! lol, yeah, when I sang I Remember I was getting over a cold. X_X; LOL But, I've noticed nasily in my voice as well, so I've been looking up sites on-line for different techniques that I can use to sing better. They seem to be working so, whoo! ^__^ And thank you for the compliment, that was very sweet!! ::hugs:: lol, see, singing has always been really important to me, and to be honest, sine I was 4, I've wanted to do something with my voice. So, for all us singers to come together here and help and listen to each other, it really means a lot to me. mrgreen heart heart heart ~Olivia~ Me too, I've always dreamed of being on broadway! My goal is to star as Christine Daae some day! I don't know when I started wanting to but my brother got to see the musical when he was in high school and I was like 5 or 6 I think and he got me into Phantom, Les Mis, and Sunset! Sooo many! Or I want to play as eponine from les mis, though Cosette's part is pretty cool. omg i would love to star as christine too. I took choir for four years. But the only thing is I have major stage fright so when i sing in front of people i sound like a strangled cat lol.
