A car zoomed past the man without a thought passed on the matter. That was what, the fourth car that decided it didn't feel like picking up some man dressed in what Bard thought to be quite a comfortable outfit filled with purple and black. But then the car shoved it into reverse and came to a halt infront of him. Bard's hand fell back to his side and he stood there with what could have been labled a dumb-struck expression on his face until the other man talked.
What was he looking for? A ride. Clearly. With one of those 'kill them with friendly love and sunshine' smiles, Bard rested his arms against the car to lean over, sticking his a** out all cute like. "Just looking for fun, same as every night," the man replied with a wink and a smile that claimed he wasn't lying. It wasn't really a lie though, Bard really was looking for some fun, just not in the way this man in the car might be thinking.
"Actually I've got this here paper," he said, pulling out the sheet and showing it to the other man, "I suppose there's some shin-dig somewhere and I thought it might be pretty interesting to visit. Fangs thinks it will be boring but he's not allowed to make a comment until he starts paying for rent." The paper spoke of some lab's event to gain itself more money and fun stuff like that.

Ebony Shade 'Hmm...where to next?' Ebony stopped to take a look around at her surroundings. The scent of freshly cut flowers waffed in her direction, teasing and literally dragging her to them as her feet had already made up her mind and moved towards them. Her eyes lit up somewhat at the sight of all the lovely flowers. There were so many and still so fresh. She'd buy a whole bunch if she weren't afraid they'd all die before she could get them home. "HI!" A little bubbly outburst greeted the girl as a smiling face peeked out behind the bushels of flowers. He hovered over the booth, his shaky nerves forgotten at the chance to talk with someone.
"Are... Are you looking to buy uhmm some flowers? They are really pretty! The uhmm yellow ones," He couldn't remember the names, "would be very pretty in your hair..." The little Frei added his two cents with a growing smile.

A slip from her normally calm collected self came forth when a voice from behind burst forth and pretty much scared the daylights out of Ebony. She turned back to the booth, a bit of her startled state still lingering on those sun-kissed cheeks, she lowered her glasses again and replied most hastily, "What's your problem?! You just scared the crap out of me!"

"Tyson, don't even try slipping them your food." A stern voice warned amongst the surrounding noises of the festival. Lillian sat at the petting zoo booth, colored papers in her hand as she looked over to the young lad that was leaning over the nearby wired pen. The youngster met her gaze with one of his own as he straightened, yet it lacked the seriousness his sister’s held.
Tyson's plan of playing coy naturally was unsuccessful as Lillian continued to stare him down with her skeptical and "all-seeing" eyes. The teen was certainly not about to let her mischievous little brother get away with breaking the rules yet again. That was how they got into their current situation to begin with. She was definitely not about to have another problem on her hands if Tyson fed those little buggers in the pen. The poor girl had no idea what they actually ate…for all she knew they could explode if someone was to feed them cherries.
By now, Tyson’s dangling hand that held a slice of his cheese sandwich over the pen withdrew and rested at his side.
"They looked hungry, Lil.” He made sure to tell his sister as he walked back over to their little booth. “I'm sure they would like a sandwich while they wait to be adopted. Don’t you? You would’ve liked a slice if you were in there position you know." He finished with a child-fitting grumble.
“They’re fine. Dr. Kyou only gave us a little of their food to feed them for today because he doesn’t want them to get sick. Now, if they get sick off their own food, imagine what will happen if he give them some of ours’.” Lillian replied smartly to her younger brother’s words while her eyes cast a glance to her watch. It had only been about fifteen minutes since they arrived at their booth.
It only took a glance to her watch to give Tyson enough time to make it back over to the pen. If the look had only lasted a second or two longer, Tyson may have had completed his mission of feeding the penned up Chimeras. His daring task was foiled once more though as Lillian lifted her head up to see him just in time. This time though, her hand was outstretched before even saying a word to him. A couple of precious green dollar bills in her palm that teased the boy and tempted him so easily.
Immediately the child scrambled over to take his sister’s money, suddenly abandoning the cause just like she thought he would. “Why don’t you go get us something to eat while we wait for someone to come look around? You can also find something you like that isn’t too big, doesn’t cost a ton, and won’t create a trail of slime. Oh, and look for Alex while you’re out and about too. I thought she was going to meet us here but maybe she got lost on the way over. Remember, no running, no yelling, no talking to strangers, and definitely no bumping into people.” Lillian warned before handing over the money. Of course she was worried to let him go off into the crowd by himself, but she was even more worried about the state of the health the animals would get in if they were left in Tyson’s care.
"Alrighty! Will do!" The child full of everlasting energy and spunk called back to his sister. He was already hurrying off into the crowd with his pocketed money to see what he could find.

We`rika's smile almost reached his ears as it seemed the hitchhiker and he were on the same dirty wavelength. He sure hoped this man wasn't a cop. He was about to ask him how much he charged until the so-called prostitute changed the subject. We`rika's long ears fell in disappointment. No that he had time for such things, but maybe he could get a number or--
"Wait..." We`rika snatched the paper out of the other man's hand. "Ya mean th'305 Lab? Wha' a small ********' world... I'mma actually goin' there myself fer th'fund raiser." Pulling back into his seat, the Huichol unlocked the doors and let the man get in.
Sevilin's soft smile melted into a worried frown as he apologized, "Oh.. I'm sorry. I didn't ... didn't mean to scare anything out of you! Do you need help looking for it?"

"Okay..Let's see. David said the charity event would take place some where around here~. Oh! There it is!" Namini cheered as she twirled her parasole carefully on her shoulder. Drifting her sapphire eyes from the colorful flier she had received from her brother, she looked up to meet the brilliantly decorated Lab 305 Summer Festival. Smiling brightly she broke out into a light jog towards the festive grounds, her spirits high and her excitement rising as she released her energy into a jump or two.
Upon reaching the booths and crowds, Namini felt her cheeks already aglow. "Goodness..this is one large charity event," she exhaled heavily as she twirled her parasole once again and continued to do so as she began wandering the booths. "I hope it'll be as fun as it looks " she told herself as something caught her eye. Balloons. As her attention drew her closer to the merchandise booth, she noticed a man informing another of Lab 305. Scooting closer though not as close as to make the area uncomfortable, Namini listened intently, though her eyes still lingered on the balloons.
"Raevan?"

Oh gods. Did the man actually think that Bard was a...a hooker? That certainly was a first for the man, though he supposed with that tattoo of his he should have been expecting it from years ago. Not that Bard wouldn't have been down for some fun, but maybe they could have had a little date first? You know, some good food, better drinks. Bard didn't even hear what the other said and so when the other moved to let Bard into the car he didn't really know what to do.
Hadn't his mother always warned him about situations like this? No. She hadn't. With a shrug Bard slipped into the car, found his seat belt and muttered something to the black fluff ball on his shoulder which rippled with displeasure at having to be in a car with another man. Typical Fangs.
"I gotta warn you though, I'm a bit rusty," confessed Bard with a little kid grin of innocence. Good thing Werika wasn't actually taking the man back to his place like Bard thought was happening. The idiot needed to learn how to listen better.

At the raevan's reply, Ebony couldn't help but blush at having a burst of raw emotion then. "Ummm...no, sorry..." She bowed slightly from shame and to hide those rosey colored cheeks. She hated when she was taken by surprise because she was usually better than that to get sneaked up on. Guess she'd have to do some more training on that as it seemed she was getting somewhat rusty if this...child, could surprise her so.
Coming closer to the flower booth once again, "Ummm, I was wondering whether you were selling seeds too. Or is it just the flowers?"

We`rika almost hit his head on the steering wheel as his foot unconsciously hit the brakes at the other man's comment. His head turned around stiffly and slowly, regarding the man with a frightened face. He didn't think they were on the same wavelength anymore.
"... At gettin' into a car or goin' ta a fund raiser... either way they're both pretty non threatenin'..." Did he pick up a crazy? Or was the kid just high? OH MY GOD! What if it was a cop! Was there a hidden camera somewhere. The Huichol tried to just smile and advert his eyes back on the road, but it came off as more of a 'WTF is wrong with you?' face.
Sevilin's happy demeanor was quickly reinstated as Ebony began to talk with him. The watery Raevan looked at her a little confused until he remembered the few little packets one of the festival volunteers had given him.
"Er yeah we have like.. a few. We have uhmm like pa... p... pansies? And errm moon flowers, daffooodilleys.... yeah uhmm most of the seeds we carry are more common to.. to," He wrinkled is nose as he squinted below, "gardens... And the grown flowers are more... Xotic..." Sevilin recited not so secretly from a piece of paper hidden under his booth.

As the bubbly little thing spoke stumbling along some words and so obviously looking down at something he...she...it was sort of hard to tell...was reading from for help, Ebony took a closer look at these creatures they called Raevans. Curious things they were. They certainly didn't look like any kind of experiment a lab would cook up. At least...not from any of the ones she'd heard of anyway. Though she thought the one in front of her was generally harmless and a bit cute, the girl just couldn't help but wonder what sort of price these so called Raevans were worth. 'They seem rare enough...' she thought to herself while tugging on yet another strand of lavender.

Bard let out the single most non-manly squeak as the car's brakes were pumped and the man's chest was uncomfortably embraced by the restraint. Fangs, although valiantly attempting to dig his claws into Bard's shoulder, ended up being flung to hit the front window with a soft 'plunk' before it spread it's wings and moved to perch on the steering-wheel, hissing furiously at the other man.
"Fundraisers? I th-thought you picked me up to go back to your place?" Bard said with a groan as he reached for Fangs to tuck him into his shirt. "Sorry about him. He doesn't bite hard. Honest." Although the purple haired man was all of, gods, almost 30 years old, he was acting like a little kid sitting there. Deciding enough was enough he cleared his throat and sat up a bit.
"Right. Yea. Fundraisers and cars. Good combination. Let's do this," he said with a lop-sided grin, trying to hide the pain his feline friend was inflicting upon his stomach with claws like pins. Oh yea. He looked totally hard-core now.

The yound woman jumped a little, turning around to see who had snuck up behind her while she was paying attention to the flower booth. Her expression broke into a warm and easy grin at the sight of her friend, a soft bit of laughter escaping her as Natsuki struck a pose. As usual, her friend looked simply divine, so cool and collected no matter the situation. "I think people will be lining up in droves just for a glimpse of you, Natsuki," she teased. "You look wonderful!"
Which reminded her about the date-thing she'd seen earlier. She hadn't paid it much mind - Alex, date? Hah! - but she did remember seeing her friend's name there. It had pleased her to no end that she'd be able to see Natsuki flaunting her stuff on stage, although the sudden thought of some random gawker getting a date with the beautiful woman made her pause. "Are you ready for your auction?" she asked with a hesitant smile. Alex could never do something like that herself; she certainly was not a social butterfly, and could barely hold conversation with strangers. Natsuki was great at such things, but the Italian's over-protective nature was starting to rear its head. If there were a lot of weird guys, who, goodness forbid, had money...
Her face lit into a devious smile as she snaked her arm carefully around Natsuki's gorgeous outfit. "Maybe I'll be out in the crowd for you. Can't think of anyone else I'd enjoy spending the day with!" As cool as she was trying to sound, Alex broke into very uncharacteristic giggles, covering her mouth with her free hand. The festival hadn't even started as she was being giddy; it was going to be an interesting day!

The balloon was bothering Niksia as she ambled around the stalls, holding it all day would get in the way. She took the string in her right hand and used it to wrap around her other arm so she could snag the length between her teeth. It looked insanely awkward but she didn't appear to notice as she began tying the string around her upper arm. Without being able to check what she was doing, Niksia managed a decently sized loop around her arm and a tightly done knot. Shoving the loop up to her shoulder she seemed happy with the result, though a shirt with shoulder straps could have saved her a great deal of trouble.
With that important business taken care of, she made her way to one of her favorite stalls. Ah, food and drink! Glancing up and down the menus she considered the various options.
Lots of drinks, good to know. Nothing alcoholic, excellent.
Oh, ice cream.
A fingertip made its way to her partly concealed lips as she focused on what she wanted in the increasingly warm weather.
'I wonder if it would be worth the mess right now...' Niksia mumbled to herself, lost in a world of her own for the time being.

Sam took out his wallet and flung a one dollar bill onto the counter without saying a word. He looked down at the counter as he took the balloon from the minty raevan. The Isi boy’s information had been most unhelpful. Sam had already known most of what Isi had told him from the flier. “ Thanks,” he said as he turned to leave. Maybe he would just avoid people for a while. He headed for the picnic tables he had originally planned to sit down on, keeping an eye out for the golden haired woman. Seeing no sign of her, he sat down and relaxed. It took him several minutes to get bored enough to play with his new balloon. He managed to tie it to his wrist without having it fly away. He jerked his wrist with the balloon tied to it down, causing it to be brought down to eye level, where he would whack it away with his other hand. He continued to do so out of boredom, hopefully no one would interrupt him.

Josh smiled contently as the line at the refreshment booth finally cleared and opened a spot for him to squeeze in. Josh jubilantly approached the booth and strummed his fingers lightly on the table before him in anticipation. He shot a curious glimpse over the stall at the red and black haired raevan, “Excuse me could I get, a pink lemonade, a hot dog, and a popsicle?” Josh's eyes glowed with childish interest.
