Zach gasped, horrified as a sudden figure came down from the oak. "I'm sorry Mr. Tree! I didn't mean to get into detention! Please don't eat me!" he yelled, sheilding his face with his arms. He blinked when he heard laughter. He quickly glanced up and noticed Yukio standing in front of him offering a hand. He stared at the hand for a minute before he quickly stood up and tackled Yukio. "You're alive! The tree didn't eat you! Now save me!" he screamed clutching onto Yukio's shirt tightly.

Tabitha yawned, quietly closing the door behind her. She grinned as she strolled into the woods close to her house. As long as the school didn't call her mom about her absence today, she'd get away scot-free! Whistling, she stuck her hands in her her pocket wandering deeper into the woods.

"Ooff," Yukio cryed as he hit the ground with Zach on top of him. "Hey, what the....Zach! It was me the whole time, I was in the tree." Realizing that Zach had actually believed it, he placed his arm on his back. His voice softening, "I'm sorry. I didn't think you would react this way."

Hearing a muffled thump in the woods, Tabitha stopped whistling, hoping that it wasn't some kind of wild animal. She walked quietly towards the sound, trying to avoid stepping on the leaves covering the floor. She made a face when her bangles fell against each other, letting out a loud chiming.

Zach stopped his horrified screams at this. "...You were in the tree?" he questioned slowly, hands still clutching Yukio's shirt. He blinked as Yukio nodded. "...Does that mean I won't get eaten by man-eating trees?" he questioned hopefully.

Yukio laughed loudly. "I don't think so. It didn't eat me and I was standing on it. Now, let me up please."

Zach quickly blinked. He blushed slightly as he noticed what position they were in. Quickly letting go of Yukio's shirt, Zach got up and stammered. "E-eh, s-so-sorry about that," he apologized as he rubbed the back of his head emberassedly.

Peeking around the tall tree she was hiding behind, Tabitha raised an eyebrow at the two boys lying on the ground. They looked around her age, maybe a bit older. She strained to hear the conversation being held. Something about trees?
Curious, she stepped out from behind the tree, approaching the two boys as they got up off the ground.
"Hi. My name's Tabitha. Call me Tabby." she said introducing herself.

Yukio stood up and dusted the dirt off his shirt. "Hold still." he told Zach as he wiped the dirt from his face. "There, you can move now. So where are you headed anyways?"

Face still a bright red, Zach muttered a quiet, "Thanks." He quickly turned his head around, wishing he had a cap to cover up his face. 'Why the heck am I blushing?' he thought to himself pouting. He sighed and turned his face back in Yukio's direction. "No where really, just wandering around a bit," he replied, face still lightly colored red. He jumped in surprise when he heard someone introduce themself. "Ack!" he yelped before falling onto the ground again.

Noticing the girl, he turned, "Hey. I'm Yukio." he said reaching out his hand to shake hers. "Nice to meet you."

Quickly getting up, Zach dusted off his pants before sighing. 'What is up with me today?' he thought to himself frowning. He quickly noticed the girl and smiled lightly. "Hello there!" he waved.

"I just wandered around here after getting out of detention," replied Zach grinning. He blinked, before picking up a nearby rock. "Hey, it's shiny!" he exclaimed as he examined the rock. He paused, hummed a tune, and quickly threw the rock in the air.

Glancing at the rock, Tabitha quickly sidestepped. In case it came down on her head. She felt a small smile creep onto her face at his antics, charmed despite herself. "Detention, huh? For what? You don't seem like the type to terrorize the teachers."
