Storm pointed at Allen, grinning.
"Annoy him till he drops dead, Alex. It is oh so very entertaining."

Allen twists his hand around, and a shadow surrounds Alex. He sweeps his hand down, and the shadow rises over her body, dragging her down until she's neck deep in the shadow.
Allen: That'll keep her out of the way for now.

Allen walks over, squatting down until he is at face level with Alex, who was almost completely sunk into the deck.
Allen: Sorry, love, but you look like the kind of person who can annoy me. No offense, of course. You realize Storm's fitting to sail into a major battle, right?

Allen: One where she is battling against her previous superior, Admiral Kibo Botch. This ship is probably going to be destroyed. Well, if I got my way, it would. Kibo's much too soft for my tastes. Maybe you should get out while you can.

[She's getting around to it...]
Storm folded her arms across her chest.
"The ship will live and so shall Alex and any on board that I so chose to let live."

Allen: Well, isn't someone little miss high-and-mighty? I can't imagine you stooping so low, in your opinion, as to actually raise the dead, like Master Kibo.

[Well, that is one of my more interesting metaphors... neutral ]
"Alors me pardonner. Your phrasing confused me. Necromancers, like mister Kibo, cannot actually raise the dead to a perfect state of living. Such as you and I are doing as we speak. They, meaning necromancers, bring back what is considered a mockery of life. But what I can do is simply keep her from dying. Then, I won't have to deal with the mudane things of trying to find a true priest to raise her again."
Storm lounged against the rail of her ship.
"The world is my plaything, Mister Allen. And I am a very intelligant toddler."

Allen: Essence on toddler. And you underestimate Kibo. There are way too many intricate details to explain to you, but Kibo can truly raise the dead, back to "perfect life," as it's called, without being ordained.
