Leo put his arm around Shaon and placed his hand on her shoulder. "There is no reason to be afraid." He said, trying to sound comforting, because in many ways she was still the adolescent that she appeared to be. "You're accompanied by two speakers and a killer so experienced he could take out an army of Morag Tong. You know the strange and amorphous beasts that lurk constantly in the shadows of human fear when they are in the dark? You don't have to be afraid of those. We are those beasts."
He looked ahead and assumed that the man made tunnel was going to become a larger cave, which was a safe passage under the sea. His hair stood on end with excitement, and he wondered briefly if his Khajiit Brother could talk, for he had never heard him.

Shaon shudddered, regardless of Leo's comfort. she had seen too much, been throguh too much in caves, to reflect on hsi words. She knew how truly terrifying a cave coudl be.

Leo pretended that Shaon's shudders were because of the cold, an continued to walk silently, as they entered a large open space with a pool of fresh water in it.

shaon looked at the pool of water and tightened her grip on Leo's arm. She wanted out. she turned toward the exit and bit her lower lip. she coudln;t take it anymore. she;d rather fac ean entire daedra army than be in a cave.

Leo tightened his grip around Shaon, still walking with her. He looked around. "I guess we're going for a swim..." he said. "Who can breathe underwater?"

Shaon winced. "underwater??" she tried to pull back from Leo, but naturally, he was stronger. she had nothgin agiasnt water, but being underwater was not on her list of fun thigns to do.

Raj'qar looked at the pool for an eternal moment, but slowly he looked to the cavern wall on his right. The shaded area was pitch-black, but Raj'qar was Khajiit; he needed no light. Silently, stealthily, he slipped into a small crawlspace. He was gone; engulfed in the darkness. For a moment it seemed he'd left his brothers, but he merely forgot they could not see like him. His head reappeared in the dim light and he motioned for his comrades. Then, without waiting for a reply, he slithered back into the claustrophobic tunnel.

Shaon, desperate for escape even if it called to go throguh a tight, dark corridor, scrambled after him, breakign free of Leo's grip. Her heart pounded with the familiarity of being in a cave. It made her shudder.

The tunnel was cramped and seemed endless, but Raj'qar knew the way. Slowly the dim cracks of light disappeared and they were in complete darkness as the tunnel seemed to slope down-hill into the abyssal darkness.

she coudln;t see and stopped when she felt the gorund give way to a slope. She had no idea what was going on anymore...and her fear made it hard to think.

Leo had sharp vision but he couldn't see in the dark. He bumped right into Shaon. "What are we stopped for?" He asked.

Raj'qar heard his brothers speaking some way behind him; he liked working alone now more than ever. Just him and the darkness; darkness always proved to be good company. Raj'qar halted and waited for his comrades to catch-up. It would be a long night.

she barely noticed him. "it happened in a place liek this..." she whispered, terrififed. "in a cave with a decline..."
