No, I got it from a textbook. Two textbooks actually.
I heard about that novel by Upton Sinclair when I was learning that segment of history. But I figured it could be an exaggeration anyway. It sounded too gruesome to be true...
Don't worry about it, though. I just wrote it all out because I was brain splurting and wanted to see how much I could remember...

Oh, I definitely loved the accent, but I also loved the music scene (*is a total music snob, and admits it freely*), and I really liked the super friendly and fun atmosphere!
But, of course I want to go to Japan. No doubt about it. I'd like to live there some day...probably in Hiroshima (...so I'm near the Moi-Meme-Moitie shop. LOL)

Well...they have shops there...so I would assume you can live there...and...it's Moi-Meme-Moitie! I mean, come ON! LOL If I lived there, I'd have a better chance of meeting Mana! w00t!

Sounds like fun! But...I'm not sure I would want to live near Tokyo...I'm not all that fond of huge cities...but with the job I want, I need to live somewhere near a large (not huge) city. I want to be a CSI...so larger cities mean more work.

Yes...but you can't be sick at the sight of blood...or other gross things...whish I'm not, so I guess I'm set. There's a lot of math and science behind it too, though

Well...you and I have the same problem, then...I love blood...but can't stand horror movies (not good with scary). But, for some reason, blood and gore is just interesting to me
