Made sniffed her way down a path and into the nearby forest. She could smell something interesting, and soon she found a cave big enough to fit even Maharet. "Ohhhhh.... look." she said with awe. "A cave. I wonder what's down there..."
Maharet frowned. This was getting a bit more adventurous than two kits should be getting into. "I don't know if this is a good idea young ones..."

Akasha smirked softly, proud of her daugthers observation, but at the same time. She nodded softly. "Partially." she said, then paused. "But upon closer inspection you would have noticed similarities. The Adult is Maharet, my younger sister. We share the same markings, and had you raised a nose to the air, would have faintly picked up the same scent." She inclined her head slightly "But you did good."
Corvinus paused, head tilted and nose raised. He couldnt identify it. He looked back at Maharet, a light gleam present in his eyes, one that's never graced his features before, it was one of youthful curiosity. Something every other kitsusagi experianced when young, except Corvinus, he seemed so...different. This was the first thing he'd shared in common with his siblings. He wanted to go down there. He wanted to explore the mysterious cave with his sister and Aunt.
(( >.> An idea for the cave, Menkaura could be down there :0 would certainly make things interesting XD just a thought. ))

Keira looked over her shoulder to confirm the markings and sent then nodded. She turned her attention back to her mother to learn more, feeling for the moment a bit better about herself

Ombra woke with a yawn from his short nap. The first thing he noticed was the feeling of warmth. Not that of the one who nursed him. Male. Comfortable. The notion dawned on him with truthful certainty though none told him -Father. Hmmm... Mother and one of his siblings were a good pace away. Now that he was waking Ombrascoppio could hear them talking. But where were his other siblings and the one that bore a scent similar to Mother? And... tiny nostrils flared at the new scent still far away. His eyes snapped open and he looked in the distance to where he thought someone watched them. Someone... was that a scent also similar to Mother's? Male? With a nuzzle to his father Ombra stood almost regally, posing like a tiny prince as he willed his eyes to see farther. Monochrome tipped tails flicked only at the tips as he remained still, ears turning towards the same direction as his gaze. Nostrils flared in and out, taking in the scents around him. So his missing siblings had gone somewhere with the other female -perhaps a sibling of mother's?- but what was this new male scent? Why was its owner keeping so very far away?

Chaos' red eyes watched Ombrascoppio, a smirk played over the anthro's maw. So, the little guy was more perceptive then he looked. It didnt really surprise him, Akasha did have Carmilla's blood after all. But Chaos remained silent, just watching his nephew. He stood high on a tree branch, leaning casually against the mammoth tree. He was quiet comfortable, and quiet concealed behind the leaves. And a mysterious mist that had crept into the forest canopy. He'd wait until Ombrascoppio wasnt near Keman. The anthro had never formally met the colorful male, and didnt feel like meeting him now. He was here to see his neices and nephews, not meet the current male Akasha had taken to bed.

Keman looked up and watched his youngest son stand. Smiling, he glanced in the direction that Ombra did and raised a brow. He had the distinct impression that someone was out there, and that he or she knew them in some way. He wondered what Akasha had done in her travels before he had met and become infatuated with her.
Made smirked and looked at their aunt with innocence. "But auntie, you'll be with us. We couldn't possibly be in any danger with you there..."
Maharet sighed and smirked. "I know what you're doing little one and it won't work. However, I am confident in my abilities so I will protect you as we venture forth. Lead the way Corvi, if you will?" She figured it would be a good boost to the youngster's ego as he seemed relatively quiet for the most part.

Corvinus bowed his head and headed into the cave. He stepped tentatively, the mysterious scent getting stronger as he padded cautiously into the cave. It wasnt like he expected, it was warm and not as scary as he'd thought. Altho, there was something in the cave, but he couldnt tell if it was dangerous or not.
Deep within the cave, something stirred. Something ancient, something that hasnt been disturbed in centuries. An exhale of hot air, followed by an intake. Someone, or someones, were in his cave.

Made blinked as she heard the intake and exhale of breath. She looked at Corvinus. "Um.... maybe we should head back...." she fretted, her braveness fading away even with Maharet right there behind her.
Sniffing the air, Maharet snorted. She didn't know what they were about to find. She was curious however, and waited for Corvi to continue or turn back.

Corvinus tilted his head, taking in the surroundings. There was something. "Madey, i'd like to keep going. But if you want to turn back, we can do that" He said watching his sister. He wanted to find out what it was, but if his sister wanted to leave, he would do that.
They approached. He stirred, uncoiling his lengthy body. Intense golden orbs glanced into the dark. Those approaching still had a ways to go, before they reached him, but he could hear their conversation as clear as day.

Made closed her eyes tight and took a couple of breaths. She had convinced Corvinus to come do this in the first place and she would be extremely disappointed if they didn't continue. It was the first time since their hatching she had seen his tails wag! Opening her eyes with a fierce grin, Made made her way to beside Corvi. "Let's go."
Maharet smiled softly. It was good to see her sister's young so brave, in light of something they were not even in the slightest clue of facing. She followed behind, making sure the exit was uncovered should they need to make a quick escape.

Corvinus nodded his head and trudged on cautiously. "I wonder what it is" he said outloud, more to himself then to those with him. He made sure to walk with his tails elevated, not wanting them to drag and give away their presence.
A low warning growl ensued from the waking up dragon. Claws scratched at the stone beneath him. They were coming closer. He wasnt frightened, there was little larger then he, no worries there. He growled again, stirring once more, to face the cave entrance.

Shivering slightly from the growl, Made sniffed the air and it was unfamiliar to her. The growl was deep and warning, but with Maharet behind her, she had the courage to continue onward with Corvi beside her.

He growled again, trying to stand, but the cave wasnt big enough to accomodate his size. He ended up in a crouching position. He snapped his jaws, his eyes shining in the darkness "Who dares enter my cave un-announced" he began heading towards the entrance
Corvinus became suddenly alert, ears perked, eyes wide, stance strong. "We..we're just curious as to what was in here" he said, stuttering at first, but soon regained his composure.

"Or... uh... Who in this case...." Made said shakily, clearing her throat and standing straighter. "We're just curious, we mean no harm... Like we could even cause any. We're merely kits.."
"And one adult, keeping chargin for my sister's young." Maharet called out, strong and clear to let him know that she was not one that would let him mess with the youngsters.

A deep rumbling chuckle came from the dark. He crept forword, powerful forepaws pulling him closer, and into the light. His golden eyes went to Maharet, a wicked grin playing along his dual colored maw "And how, pray tell, would you stop me" he asked, very confident that he could stop Maharet. Golden eyes found the two kits, and quirked a brow.
Corvinus' eyes went wide at the size of the thing before him. After the initial shock wore off, he bowed, his forehead touching the cold stone beneath his paws, before he rose again. "Our intentions were pure, noble sir" he said swallowing hard. Yes he was the youngest, but he took it upon himself, to protect his sister and aunt. "We did not mean to intrude upon your slumber, nor your home"
Menkaura growled, head snapping to the side. But it wasnt in a threatening manner. He ached. He'd slept for centuries and oh how his body ached. "this, is not my home" he said in obvious disgust "I meerly took shelter while hiding from hunters...."
