Forellen watched these strange new people with an almost facinated expression. Her mind was used to thinking of new and bizzare things for her books but this had to be the end all for everything. Oh this was going to be such an awesome book. If she got around to writing it that is. She listened only part way to the conversations around her as she frowned trying to make sence to what was being said.
It was the speaking of her knickname that snapped her back to reality. Blinking she shook her head and looked back at Ceres trying to recall what she had said to her just now. It clicked. Small. "Oh...right...small it is." She said and a moment later she was a small red gold and gray kitten splotted. That should be small enough. "Meow?" She said looking up. She hunkered down and practically lept into Ceres's arms so they could get inside.

Ghost looked at the new people then activated his ghostly powers again and followed captain america and Mr.Fantastic inside looking left and right at the faces as he glided inside as silent as the night he floated up through the floors till he came to a place where a cop was holding a gun to some guys head and he said in a ghostly voice, "Hey put the gun down there is no need for anyone to get hurt." he then added, "Has anyone seen a man in a suit of armor he calls himself Dr. Doom he is very dangerouse."
Before he said anything else he held up his Avenger badge hoping beyond hope that someone would recognize it in this room. It was then that he noticed a sort of Bat dressed man off to one side and surpressed a laugh. "I am an Avenger." he stated flatly

Luthor still wore a grin on his face, even in the face of danger. He had squared off too many times against Superman. Crawford, however, was getting more agitated. Don't. Let the League handle this., he thought to himself as he was about ready to pull the trigger. Hesitating momentarily, T.J. looked at the slightly stirring form of Kara. She was worse for wear, no thanks to Luthor's kryptonite. That was when he heard a nearly ethereal voice.
Put the gun down, there is no need for anyone to get hurt.
T.J. stood and spun around, aiming the gun to where he thought the voice was coming from, but saw no one. Then he heard whoever this was ask about a man named Dr. Doom. "Doctor Doom? He sounds like a cartoon character," T.J. said, "And if you'll excuse me, I won't put my sidearm down." That was when he saw the badge being waved around.
"I am an Avenger," the person said.
"A wannabe super hero group, I imagine," T.J. said, mainly out of frustration at his own lack of powers right now. "Do you recognize this symbol, Arrow?" Connor walked up next to T.J. and inspected the badge.
"Never saw it before in my life," the Arrow said in response. "How about you, Bats?" Batman shook his head and headed off the way that Sibyl and Mind Freak did. He need to inspect what was going on.
"Arrow," T.J. said turning himself and the Arrow in place, "Keep an eye on this guy. I'm going to try to contact J'onn." T.J. looked up after conversing with his friend and noticed that Luthor had ran off. Again. "Damn," he muttered as he touched his hand to his ear yet again.
"J'onn. This is Plasma, copy?"
"Copy, Plasma. What happened?," J'onn asked.
"I have no clue, and I'm glad I can get through to you at least," T.J. commented, "But there seems to be something slightly strange going on. Luthor's device went off, and... well... there's someone here who claims to be an Avenger."
"Odd," J'onn remarked.
"Very. I lost contact with Superman when the machine detonated. Can you locate him?"
"No. I cannot. He seemed to have disappeared entirely." When J'onn said that, Plasma's heart sank to his feet. Superman disappeared? The heart and soul of the League gone? It couldn't be possible. "The only ones I can find through what limited sensors I have are your group, Diana, and a few others."
"Damn... How about teleporting us out of here?"
"I cannot. The Watchtower's telemetry is out of alignment. It'll take me a day or so to get that online."
"Damn."
"Anything else, Plasma?," J'onn asked.
"Nothing. Plasma over and out." T.J., though powerless wasn't without his physical strength. Seeing that Kara was still slightly out of it, he walked over to her, and scooped her up in his arms. He sighed slightly as he walked over again to where the Arrow was.
"Whoever you are," T.J. said to the new arrival on the scene, "You can inspect this area all you want, but the battle here is over. Go home."

Appearing fully as his wraith form not having noticed that he had been invisible he said, "I wish i could but as of this time im stuck here along with the others of Squad B of the Avenger Task Force." He shrugged and thought, "Well i might as well explain whats going on" so he reverted to his normal form and said in his thick russian accent, "We dont know what happened or where we are at this time we where outside of Dr. Doom's Castle and now we appear to be outside of this Skyscraper thing." He opened up a com link to Reed Richards
"This is Ghost with vital intel Reed do you copy?" He said over the com unit in his badge.
"This is Reed what do you got for me Geovani?" was the reply.
"Well it appears that Doom's machine has teleported us to possibly another planet because they have no knowledge of The Avenger Task Force."
"That would be expected was there another "Supervillian" here as well?"
Geovani saw the look on Batman's face flicker for just a moment, "Ya there was and theres also a strange machine here its possible that both Dr. Doom and theres could have both reached for the same portal of power..."
"Dont try to speculate something like that so soon because if its the power that im thinking of that could mean that anyone missing on either side could be Dead." The final word seemed to echo around the room as Ghost took it all in.
"Alright Ghost out..."
He replaced the badge in his overcoat pocket and said, "Well since we are here is there anything we can do to help you guys out? We seem to be missing about half of our team and if you dont need help I believe we do..." He paused a moment, "That is... if you guys are the good guys of this planet?" Geovani was determined to maintain the fact that they had just been teleported to a different planet and everyone else was still alive.

Ceres was away from the main portion of her team. She had levitated herself and shifter up on some air currents to look for any remains of their team or Dr. Doom. Really, the thing that alarmed her the most was how great the disturbance in the earth's energies were inside this building. It had been central to Doom's machine. It did, though, feel like the Earth was trying to heal itself in some crude way.
"Stay small, Shifter," Ceres felt the kitten stir that she had perched on her shoulder, "If we encounter an enemy, I need you to be the surprise attack... The energy here is really disturbing. I am going to move us to the center of where Doom's machine should have stood and hopefully we will find something."
There seemed to be two areas of the building where the disturbance generated from. The first was where Captain America's team was going to encounter whoever the new people were... the second disturbance was centralized back towards the rear end of this new building. Did these two disturbances cause this misalignment of energy... did they combined tear things apart and try a disturbing way to patch it all together again?
It didn't matter at the moment. She had to keep looking for Team B... and there was nothing. It was like they didn't even exist. No sign of armor, badges, signals, nothing... they were just gone. Hitting her comm badge, she started to speak... the only thing she got out to Captain America was, "Doom!"
She saw the familiar flick of a green cape running out through a doorway towards the front area that had Captain America and the new people. She had a hard time bending the will of the elements in this place but she tried. How did Doom survive? Maybe he was central to the disturbance and it acted as his own disgusting shield? Her head was splitting but she couldn't let Doom get away.
Working with the air currents, she forced a gush of wind to blast open the wall of the room Doom had just escaped into. Of course, her power was misleading her and she didn't recognize the energy burst that Doom had sent towards her until it sprayed out of the rubble and slammed her into a wall. She slid down and told Shifter, "Go get him, tiger."
Doom recognized what was going to happen so he started to flee towards the other team of Avengers and the other wordly people. But it was more like he was looking for something. Ceres ran after Shifter, who was growing in size, towards Doom. She forced up natural rubble from the earth and forced it to pursue Doom as well. Doom's armor gave him the strength to move on.
When Doom burst into the room that had what he was looking for, he sent out a massive energy blast to knock down who he could. Working with the element of surprise, he strong armed the one who looked like a bat with his sheer force and a few magical blasts and ripped away his belt. Laughing maniacally, Doom said before fleeing like a proper villain often does, "Now, I have the best of both worlds! Thank you, superheroes. Thank you. Oh, and I think you will be coming with me too."
Doom ensnared Luthor in a band of energy and pulled it with him. Before anybody could really do anything, Doom opened a portal above the building and started moving towards it.
"Stop him!" Ceres yelled not stopping on her path. She pratically forced herself through the team teams of people. Levitating up through the hole in the ceiling that Doom left, she was rocked back down to Earth by one of his blasts of mystical energy. She was definitely not on her A game still. Groaning, she thudded down to the ground and Doom disappeared.
Her head was pounding now and she could feel herself starting to lose control of her own form as the emotions of confusion by all present and the unbalanced earth were starting to overwhelm. Sitting up and trying to turn her skin flesh rather than the blue fur it started to sprout she said, "Don't know who you all are, why you're here, and why your building is in the middle of our city... but that man is one of the most powerful villains on this planet and by the looks of it he took things from you he deems powerful as well..."
"Ceres is right," Captain America stepped back, "We need to discuss what is going on here and determine our next course of action. If you find that acceptable as well... I am Captain America, sworn to protect this land. This team is our remaining team of Avengers who were fighting Dr. Doom and trying to help stop whatever creation he made that did this... Mr. Fantastic, Ms. Marvel, Quicksilver, Nix, Ceres, Shifter, Venin, and Ghost."

After standing in a stupor at the top of the building, Mind Freak is brought back by the Bat by a firm grip on his shoulder. He turns to see that Bruce's eyes are narrowed in thought.
"Hmm... We will need to contact Solovar. I have a hunch that by having Luthor's machine destabalize our universe, we collided with another and merged hap-hazardly. I would not be suprised if those 'Avengers' also had some machine running and the two partial worlds had enough energy in them to form a single stable world"
Batman went quiet suddenly and Shane knew better then to breach the subject. He surmised that Batman was thinking about the people who were lost in the merge and what might have happened to them. Best case senario, they were in the other two halves of the universes, if that turned out to be true, and thinking the same about them.
"Batman, lets get back down stairs. And talk this over."
As soon as they made their back down, some medievil knight with a green cloak strong armed Batman out of suprise and a strong energetic attack of some kind.
After a breif scuffa with the hero-wannabies, the clanking man shot through the roof and held off his persuers. Who then informed them that the man's name was Dr. Doom and he trouble.
"These seems like it is straight out of a fiction novel. But truth is stranger then fiction. Hell, we are costumed heroes. I am up to helping you guys if you then help us figure out what actually happened."

Forellen hopped off of Ceres's shoulder and turned into a blue and red tiger. Hey the lady made a request didn't she. It was a small irrisistable urge at humor even though there was nothing funny about it. She went chasing after doom. She got there just after he plowed through some of her team and those strangers. She bit off a curse as he got away. To little to late it seemed. She shook her head snorting. She shifted back to normal frowning. "Here...just relax for now." She said to Ceres as she offered to help her up. There was nothing to do now but wait. She inclined her head at the mention of her name and glanced at the other people before resetting her image inducer and making herself look normal.

William, for once in his life, was at a loss for words, confused and unsure. "I hate to interupt, but what the hell is going on here...." He lifts his head, and looks around. "Where ever here is...." He looks at the others. "And you people are.....?" He was begining to regain his composure, and attitude, but it was obvious that he was out of his league, and even of his world. Which he was, oddly enough.

In the autumn glow of a small Italian square people shuffle through their day as song Ave Marai dances from old violin strings. Hands old and worn but the love music has not left them these feeling this old man’s heart. Yet the world is too busy to notice the feelings unshared as they are too wrapped up in their own lives; passion echoes alone. But from the shadow there is someone who listens. A nameless figure only known those as a stranger. A world contantly in motion but in the stillness he see things like himself that the world seems to forget. This is his small moment of peace, two pieces that echo together as a phantom in the warm glow of evening.
It seems that timelessness is not the only thing passed by on this eve; to the eyes of the stranger her existence is known. The child stands alone golden eyes drawn up to the sky and soul glowing pure white as snow. As if drawn there by the warmth of the holy song she lets her soul be enveloped in its glow. A child, a man, and a stranger. To people they do not exist even unknown the child smiles to them. Taking the hand of a stranger existence has been made know; with a smile three souls have found a place to belong.
Aria sat in the depths of her mind watching her dearest memories unfold before like the pages of a storybook. Remembering the warmth in each one. She smiled listening quietly to the sound of Phantom Strange calling her name. She loved the sound of his voice. Suddenly the sound was different a cry resounded through a deafening silence as all was shredding by a blinding white. “FATHER???!!!????” Aria’s screams echoed through her own mind.
Though the action where delayed Aria’s body reacted on it’s own to the unknown energies in the room wanting to absorb their knowledge. This uncontrolled act was enough to bring Aria back to consciousness and of remind her of the state she was in. Her whole body felt like it was on fire from the amount of exhausting weighing on her. And she didn’t know which hurt worse the throbbing in her head or the pain in her ankle. I certainly made a mess of myself; at least... feeling the cool grip of the briefcase in her hand. ... At least I managed to keep this away from Luthor.
It was by now that Aria noticed that she wasn’t alone. Before her she saw blurry forms that she believed to be people, but she could not get her eyes to focus enough to tell. ...Who? Her eyes began to glow out of her confusion her body began to react on it’s own again. Firefly sphere began forming on their own as Aria cringed in pain; she didn’t have the energy to do this. Calm down Aria... get a hold of yourself. Don’t react you need to control it. These people may be here to help. With a heavy breath Aria moved the lights to form words “Are you friend or foe?” all the while trying to keep herself from slipping back into a state of unconsciousness.

If T.J. wasn't carrying Kara, he would have dealt with the clown who called himself Doom. Heck, if he had a connection to Oa, he could have dealt with the man easily. He was clad in a green cloak. What was the biggest blow of it all was that Doom flew off with Luthor in tow. That meant Luthor had gotten away with whatever he had gotten away from. All he knew was that what ever happened, it had shut him off from his intergalactic power source. He knew he couldn't mull over the situation. T.J. immediately took stock of the situation as he fell back on his police training. There was a group of discombobulated heroes that called themselves the Avengers. Batman looked to be gaining his bearings after being attacked by Doom. Even the mole in Luthor's camp was stirring as well. His group was still standing, though they seemed a bit disheveled still after what had happened.
"You can put me down, you know?," T.J. heard as he looked into Kara's eyes. His face grew slightly red as he put Supergirl down on her feet.
"Sorry," T.J. said. After putting her on her feet, he turned and started surveying everyone over some more. There were a couple of other gentlemen who had joined the group. One was clad in the familiar Red, White, and Blue of the American flag. The shield he carried even had a star in the middle? Major Liberty? He couldn't tell. The other man had gray streaks through his hair and looked rather wise. The blue jumpsuit he wore had the number four emblazoned on the chest. Feeling like he had to step in to be this group's emissary, T.J. was the second to speak up after Mind Freak did as.
"Captain America?," Crawford said to the man who roughly stood as tall as he did. As he sized up the Captain, T.J. felt that he could trust the man, so decided to speak somewhat candidly.
"My name is Plasma." As he said that, he held his hand out for a gesture of peace and salutation, which was returned. "I am a member of the Justice League. I'm imagining that it's not unlike your squad of Avengers." T.J. took a step back from the Cap as he continued speaking.
"We were trying to stop a man named Lex Luthor from activating a device which would harness cosmic energies to fuel Metropolis' power supplies... for free. It seems though, there was a rather large price paid." As he talked, he saw the ring on his right index finger sparkle with a faint emerald glow. Were his powers returning? He wouldn't know until he got to the Watchtower. But maybe, just maybe.
"Anyways. The League here, the Green Arrow, Batman, Supergirl, Mind Freak, Sibyl... and... I never caught this young woman's name," T.J. said as he motioned to the young lady just stirring awake on the ground, "We were caught in the wake of whatever it was that Luthor did. Next thing we knew, we were here in front of everyone of you."
The more he looked at his ring, he noticed it growing brighter and brighter in the energy it emitted. That was when he decided to take a slight chance. Only thinking about it slightly, he felt the energies cascade over his body. He felt like he was reconnecting with the Guardian's planet of Oa. Looking at his hands, he saw the green gauntlets that he was familiar with. He felt the tightness of the mask he wore. He was again the Lantern. And damn was it good to be back. Just hope the ring doesn't go on the fritz again, he thought as he smirked to himself behind his mask.
"The universe is mending itself, just as the world is," Batman said as he snuck up behind Plasma. "We need to get back to the Watchtower. At least some of us do. And the Manhunter spoke with me a moment ago. He has limited telemetry, so about half of us can go, and the other half can stay here."
"Earth is in my sector. I'll stay," Plasma said, "I feel a bit responsible due to this being a cosmic disturbance, apparently."
"That's settled. And although I'm a bit unsettled on whether or not to let some of these new people aboard..."
"Call's been placed, Bats. J'onn will have security measures down for the time being."
With much hesitance, Batman spoke slowly. "If any of you Avengers wishes to go to the Watchtower, you're free to do so." Batman squinted his eyes a bit. "But we will be keeping watch over you."

Reed had let Captain America speak for the most part. There were three predominant thoughts on his mind right now... Where is my wife... where is my son... where is my team... Either way, maybe going to this Watchtower would help answer his questions. Even as much as he was worried, he knew that he also had a duty to discover what the extent of the problem was. Afterall, he was the leader of the group this time around.
Reed nodded to Batman, "Your concern is understandable. I'm sure we would feel the same if we were letting you into our base of operations."
"I will go to the Watchtower as well. I would like Ms. Marvel, Quicksilver, and Ceres to stand ground here to keep peace while we determine what is going on. Shifter, Nix, Ghost... the choice is yours if you want to go to the Watchtower or stay on ground. We need to see how wide spread this damage is and to see if we can get any readings on where either of our teams..."
Of course, Reed knew that making sure innocent people were not hurt by this was their prime goal. They were, after all, superheroes.

Sibyl held her head as a migraine formed. It seemed everyone was talking as once with a collision of voices of words being said and words that had yet to be said. But she tried to stay attentive as best she could whilst introductions were being exchanged by Plasma and Captain America, who looked like he was headed to a Patriotic Halloween party as opposed to fighting crime.
"So this Doom fellow is bad news huh? Guess I coulda figured as much, what with his name being 'Doom' and all." She muttered the last bit to herself, almost as an afterthought more than anything when Mr. Fantastic spoke up. It figured the two head hachos would do a pow wow at the Tower, and most the rookies left to wander around until conclusions were made and plans for formed. She was definitely going to be one of those rookies, especially since Batman was headed up to see the Martian.
"Oh, if anyone is like spooked or totally freaked by the notion of aliens, you probably shouldn't go up to the Tower." Undoubtedly that comment drew a few raised eyebrows and looks of confusion, but she was just trying to prevent any weirdness. Although her world had just been spliced and rearranged with another universe, so the weirdness wasn't exactly an unknown idea for the day.
"So, B-Man," Sibyl could see the sneer forming from under the Dark Knight's mask, but wasn't fazed in the least. "Are we playing it by ear while you guys get to know each other better, or should we maybe run down some names and see who still around?" She stated the question as if it were the most obvious notion in the world.
"You know, family, friends, super villains? I mean, with the sudden surge of craziness going on, I'm willing to bet, Penguin, Joker, and some of their other favorite psychos are having a ball with this, um, mix up." Sibyl waved over to indicate the group of Avengers, some of them looked like they'd rather punch something versus sitting around like lost ducks. She slapped her hands together, already knowing Batman was going to, rather reluctantly, agree with her.
"And I'm bettin this fine team of crime fighters has a most lovely database like J'onn of all those naughty, naughty criminals. We should definitely check them out, n** those bad guys and their notions of evilness in the butt before they can even call their braindead henchmen in for duty."
Sibyl raised her hand when Gotham's finest open his mouth to speak effectively cutting him off, "you don't need to say it. I know what you're going to say. 'Oh what a marvelous idea, Sibyl. You can be in charge of one of the recon teams. Then, when we fix whatever Luthor did, you'll be an official member of the Justice League.'"
The glare from Batman intensified, "I most certainly was not going to say that."
The violet haired super hero simply shrugged her shoulders, "nah, but I bet you were thinkin it." The narrowed eyes and crossed arms of the Dark Knight seemed to say otherwise, but she wasn't deterred. Things were too wacky for her to care about what the Bats thought of her antics. Besides no one liked to work with a stick in the mud, and Sibyl was willing to bet she had just lightened the tension in the room a couple of notches.

She was completely okay with the order to stay on the Earth. Time was still needed to help re-balance her own powers and she couldn't do it away from the surface. Aside from that, her concern lay with how whatever just happened had effected other parts of the world. This very well could be more wide spread than Washington DC. After all, did Captain America just have trouble trying to reach Stark Towers?
All attending parties were transported to the Watchtower. There was an uncomfortable silence between the Justice League and Avengers members left behind. Nobody quite sure what to make of things it seemed. She moved near some computer panels, "I wonder if our technology is the same... you all seem to come from a similar reality, same time frame and all, eh?"
Ceres didn't press any buttons for fear she might trigger something she shouldn't. She just wanted to see if she could find a way... "Can we tap into media outlets from here? I want to know how far this goes... The media would be all over this. It could also be a national disaster... global disaster..."
She was mostly talking aloud but knew Ms. Marvel was over her shoulder listening, "Most people don't know or understand the universe aside from fantasy movies. Realities overlaying each other? Insanity to them."
"To us, just another day on the job," Ms. Marvel replied while fiddling with some controls to try to get them a television circuit.
"Although, you'd think some cities would get used to it," Ceres added in looking back at some of the Justice League members, "What city was this in your world? It is called Washington DC here... the capital of the United States."
