Anakoreta, it totaly posible for the doctor to cross his own timeline. He said so himself. "If you do as much traveling as I do, you're bound to meet up with yourself sometime."

And he's done it loads of times. The three doctors, the five doctors, the two doctors.

He's bound to do it again.

Whoops, sorry. sweatdrop

Kinda forgot about the Classic episodes, thank you for correcting me.

So, I guess the coincidence of Nine and Ten meeting on the Titanic is still up in the air?

Oooo I hope so. Wonder if Nine would like Ten? They are completely different characters, with contrasting personalities....Oh, the tension!

The agonizing wait. Must buy the DVDs.

God I hope not. Watching the Doctor argue with himself is always classic stuff. Two and Three had it down to an art. xd

Totaly with one always having to break it up. I would asume that Nine would sort of treat Ten like micky cause he's jelous of his good looks. And ten would act like nine is a kid.

I'm pretty sure that if Christopher Eccleston came on Doctor Who again, it would be pretty big news. It would have gotten to the press by now.

Which just makes things very confusing, because we know that Nine was on that ship.

Although Nine and Ten getting together would just be fantastic! I could be mistaken, they could have just hidden Christopher's involvement very well.

The whole thing with Jack being the Face of Boe just threw me. Threw me. It does make sense that his being would change beyond recognition after billions of years.

It also explains why the Face of Boe knew to warn Ten about not being the only one.

It does make me wonder what songs the Face of Boe was singing in "New Earth" though. sweatdrop He may have been singing Nine Inch Nails or something like that.

Nine would most likely call Ten a "Pretty Boy" or something along those lines, and he'd probably be terrified of Ten's spastic sugar/caffeine insanity. Ten would most likely have an extremely long monologue/ramble about some sort of non-important or important topic. In other words. Mass insanity/hilarity ensues.

It did actually make sense, as the whole Toclafane conquest wouldn't have been possible WITHOUT a paradox.

O yeah, That bit made sense

....the whole thing about the year rewinding and no-one remebering was the lame bit :/

Think about it, though. Without the paradox machine, none of that would have been possible. Either the universe destroys itself without the machine to maintain the paradox, or things go back the way they were.

I prefer the second choice. sweatdrop

I think I would have preferred a story that didn't involve a paradox machine that required a massive rewind in the first place.

Really, they could have made an interesting story out of the Master as PM in control of the UK, with the Doctor and friends on the run trying to fix things, without throwing in yet another massive alien invasion and the standard quick-fix miracle resolution into the mix.

... Something just occurred to me.

Most of the people on the flying ship thing who were there originally... don't exist. Because everything reversed itself, except for that one point. So those people who were there originally must have been on the surface, but they rewound. So they rewound, and had no where to go, and ceased to exist. Poor people. Huh, guess the president would have died anyways.

I see what your saying. They could extend their ideas a bit. Mabye next season we'll get something a little more well rounded than an alien invasion of earth.

I thought that the solution, however, made sense. (The massive rewind.) If the master did not have a strong force at his command, then he would not have the means to enforce his rule, so it would be to easy to overthrow him, and a Time Lord is cleverer than that.

At least the invasion wasn't Daleks. That would be irritating. But the force at the Masters will had to be something that referenced an episode from earlier in the season, or it would seem too convienient. Why they chose what they did is beyond me. But I'm not one of the writers.

The time reverse made sense to me. Without the paradox machine, all the influence they made would callapse in on itself. Which means that it was either destroy the universe, or erase that year. To quote Miss Ayame Kimura. I prefer the second choice.

What I'm trying to say is that agree with you roo an extent. But be fair.

that was like i think one of the epsidoes in the 80s or the 90s maybe but i deffintly saw the time war episodes there even trailer for that series in real life
If you're talking this trailer, then you're greatly mistaken. This is just some fan splicing together quotes and scenes from old episodes to put together what they see as the time war. The person who made it even explains it as such. It's not official or even accurate.

The opening was Tom Baker's opening dialogue from The Deadly Assassin, in which Sontarans invade Gallifrey. Not a time war. Nor even long term.

Sontarans don't invade Gallifrey in "The Deadly Assassin". The only beings I remember being in it are Time Lords. The Doctor had just left Sarah Jane.

That video is neat.
