welp I am still busy, lol, I thought they were just going to be here till today, but they are staying the weekend too. So who knows. Anyways, I am glad to see one of the rps up and runing, and that we are still getting new members. Welcome Dream and Angel! Hope you guys have a lot of fun here!

Oy people! I'm Metal, Ridley, Metal-Ridley... I have a lot of nicknames, just call me whatever you want. XP I got a request to join the guild on obviously accepted. I'm not a big guild guy though, I tend to forget about them... So if I don't post here in a while, just send me a PM to remind me to keep the place alive. ^_^ Ok... Well since you want an RP sample, here's one:
''Hajime was on top of a building. Venom's hunger was still not satisfied and the creature wasn't happy. He crawled down a wall and looked up for a prey, whipping his tongue from left to right and slightly up to down, splashing a little bit of saliva here and there. The beast then noticed a cloaked man walk alone into a alleyway, the man seemed suspicious, but that's not what attracted Venom: he was alone and so, most likely an easy prey. Venom shot a string of what looked like over-grown spider web to a wall on the other side of the street and pulled himself to it, landing on it in a crawling position again. The psycho crawled on the wall and followed the hooded man, who was facing a wall and was rather shaky. Venom slightly narrowed his eyes and contently and randomly moved his tongue around while widely grinning. He let out a creepy hiss out of his throat, which froze the cloaked man, and let out a psychotic giggle. The stranger quickly turned around and hit his back on the brick wall, looking around to see who was behind him, but couldn't see anyone. He then noticed a strange liquid dripping down from the wall in front of him; he looked up and noticed the symbiote. Freaked out, the hooded junky dropped his syringe on the asphalt of the alley and let out a disgusted and scared screech, which only amused even more Venom. As he widened his grin, strings of a petrol-like substance bursted out of Hajime's back and went right for the afraid man, stabbing his body into multiple of places and pinning him to the wall. Venom dropped down from his position on the wall, falling down on the ground in a crawling position and stood up. He slowly walked to the man and snaked his wet tongue around, widening in a sick manner his teethful grin again. The victim's eyes were filled with both fear and tears as he begged for his life, feeling his own blood running out of his veins and most likely sliding onto the creature's strings of gooey liquid. Tears came out of the man's eyes and he started to cry for his life, cry for help, as the maniac's face was now only but a few inches away from his own. Venom's insanely long tongue wrapped around the druggy's throat and the tip of his tongue moved up, tickling the man's cheek. The symbiote let another gross hiss out of pleasure and started to drain his prey. The prey let out a gasp of pain and inner suffering. His body started to become thinner and thinner after each seconds; it looked like he was being dehydrated in no time. When Hajime was done with the poor man, his strings tossed the now skeleton-like dried up body onto a wall, only causing it to be damaged more, and snaked his tongue back into his mouth, bringing his teeth together and showing the biggest smile he could have.''
And that's only 1/6th of what I had. XD I'm good with psychology and fighting RPs, but I suck at romancing. >>'' Anyways, glad I could join this guild and hopefully it'll grow big, and the RPs will be kept literate and awesome. =3

Erm.. You didn't need an RP sample, some people just introduced themselves in roleplay-form XD

I feel so special, being invited to a guild and all. x3 And a guild of literates! Almost a dream come true, with how far Barton Town has fallen. Anyway, you all can call me Kiki if you wish, since, sadly, that's the name I get stuck with here on gaia. : o
I don't have much to say. Except that, I've seen some people here post some samples, but just to make sure, we don't have to, right? XD

Hail to thee of metal bond, and to kiki! Haha, as Holly said, you don't have to do a writing sample if you received a direct invitation, if you were just sent a link, you'd you have to click on the request to join thing and write out the writing sample, but that not being the case for you guys, lol you don't have to worry about it, just have fun and join some rps. Oh and even create some rps yourself.
Metal, lol no worries, we'll probably have someone pm you every so often, but I am hoping this place will become addicting so you will actually want to check up on it quite often haha. I might be being hopeful, but I really do wish that to become true ^_^
Oh and Kiki, I agree Barton Town has really fallen. I seen maybe one or two literate roleplays here and there, but they keep getting ruined because of lack of members and them resorting to semi-lits or others to fill in the gaps, and then the rp just falls to pieces. Lol I am trying my best, as well as my crew and vice captain (if nobody noticed Holly got promoted ^_^ give her a congratulations) to make sure this place stays literate friendly haha ^_^.

Thank you very much, Mortal. x3 And yes. I actually had one succesful, literate Elemental Rp once. Wonderful profiles had come in, but once the roleplaying started, they were all paragraphs with barely four sentences and mostly dialogue. So sad. -tear-
Thanks so much again for the invitation, Holly! I think, if you guys keep up the good work, this guild will be w onderful success. A lot of the guilds out there are Literate but so strict and cruel. I actually have a few ideas for role plays in the General RP section that I shall put together eventually.
The guild may save me from Literate deprivation. >.<

Well lol I am a pretty fun loving guy, so I try and make this guild as that as well, lol so there won't be any major cruelty on my part. However, I am still hoping to maintaining strictness in the rps themselves, but if someone needs help, I want to help them improve. Lol truthfully we all could improve, a person who wants to stay where they are forever is a person who has lost their motivation and drive. Anyways...
Hail to the Evil Dark....well not sure if you're an overlord just yet, you have to run through some tests ^_^, but for now I'll call you the All evil Ariene ^_^. Welcome to the guild.

Okay E.D.O. ^_^ that's kind of easy to write out and remember, also fun to think of other abbreviations for it, but I won't mention that.
So to answer your question Metal, the homepage were those that were not invited by via Holly or I. Those that are invited are those that we kind of believe already proved their rp abilities, however even if they are invited, they are not immune to being sent to the rp school if they start slipping up in stuff. (even I am not immune to that haha, just hoping to keep this place full of learning and improvment)
As for rping, you can rp anytime you want to. Some of the rps are open already (joey's, and enchanted's are, holly's in the general rp is about to be open), some are just accepting profiles but haven't kicked off yet, and others like mine are under construction. I believe that mine is the only one not accepting profiles right now. So go have a look about around the subforums, and join all the rps to your hearts content, of course don't overburden yourself, and have fun! ^_^
