"How do you determine outliers in bivariate statistics?"
That's keeping ME up.
I've forgotten how to do it.

wasn't there like, one episode where she thought she was in love with him or something?
I dunno, it was a long time ago and I was young.
Perhaps they really were JUST FRIENDS. You know? I mean, I have lots of guyfriends whom I will never consider dating because they're JUST FRIENDS.
Orrr, perhaps the producers didn't want to deal with the romance angle at that point in time. I mean, if you look at contemporary shows (Alex Mack, Pete and Pete, etc.) They weren't really playing the romance angle.

Actually, I think I remember it was Sam that thought he liked Clarissa. Anyway, I'mma agree with Miss Req, there wasn't much romance going on on Nick back then....

^ thinking back on it you're both quite right. I sort of miss the innocent shows on nick. I also miss "You can't do that on telivision" which was that canadian show with a teenage Alanis Morrisette... It was also the origin of the infamous green slime on nick that they eventually named gak. I was already too young for it's first time aired but I caught most of the reruns on public access TV. The slime was chunkier back then. Pete and Pete was one of my favorite shows ever. I saw a movie recently with the younger pete in it... what the hell was it... oh right it was Igby Goes Down Arnie sort of creeped me out though.

Those good ol' innocent days of TV. I for one am sick of all this sex on the television. I mean, I keep falling off! -ba-dum-ch- (Stole that one from the British.)
I have a classmate who is the most guillible person I have ever known...poor girl.
I jokingly said, "Alanis Morisette isn't a real person." and she said "Yes sheis... she's a singer." and I said, "No, she isn't. She's a porpoise in an elabourately crafted human suit." "...No, I'm pretty sure she's a real person." and at that point I started laughing and I said, "Do you really think I don't believe in Alanis Morisette?"
Still, though... the first time I heard a recording of Alanis Morisette, I thought there was something wrong with the radio. I said, "oh gawd, what is that horrible noise? It sounds like a salamander gargling nuts and bolts."
I was surprised that the origin of the sound was (supposedly) human.
be on the lookout for a blowhole, though. ninja

Yeah... my personal faves were Salute Your Shorts and All That. I also liked Pete and Pete and Clarissa Explains it All.
D: I kinda like Alanis Morissette. XD Although, your blowhole theory does have some merit, Miss Req, dear.

I loled really loud (at work mind you) at the blow hole comment. My first introduction to Alanis Morisette as a singer was on television actually. For the longest time I thought she had a stroke at one point in her life because for the entire show her arm was bent and stiff and only swayed side to side when her body convulsed. I literally thought she lost movement in that side of her body for years. YEARS O_O
I remember Mr. Wizard! He was so old and his youngsters were so young! I don't miss the passing of that show only because eventually Bill Nye rolled around. I probably shouldn't even like Bill Nye the science guy but I can't help it. His facts are elementary but extremely accurate and I'm a sucker for nerdy kids shows. Mr. Wizard just doesn't have anything on him in my mind... except a lot of years in age and a better roller coaster physics episode.
Heh... All That... I quit watching nicks solution to the variety show when it was renamed. Did you ever watch it when it was called "roundhouse"? Maybe I'm just really old. The first cast of All that contained a good portion of the roundhouse cast and the setup of the show was basically the same except that the concerts at the end were a dance party on the roundhouse. :/

I wish I could have been there.....
I didn't actually watch Bill Nye until I was in middle school, and our science teacher had us watch it on Fridays.
When I was little I watched Beakman's World. cool

Do you remember Bobby's World and Earthworm Jim and the corresponding toys at... Burger King, I think.
Did you know, in Australia, Burger King is Hungry Jack's?
When I was a kid, I got one of those mini-barbies in a Happy Meal, cut her hair short and dyed it blue with a permanent marker, then made a white t-shirt out of a tissue and overalls out of a long strip of denim which I wrapped around and around.
Looking back, I made her look like a butch.

I loved Beakman, when I was little, but sometimes the rat scared me. I liked the girl the best.... I was like 5.
I remember Bobby's world, I stll have the happy meal [or whatever] to somewhere, or I got rid of it, but I saw it not TOO long ago. Sometimes I still find myself saying "Doncha know?" or "Babby!" like his mom... I doubt I sound much like her, but it's ******** fun! ;D Never did see Earthworm Jim.
Tiny butch Barbie's are ******** cool.
