Rellick smiled at the tiny kit as she started awake, nodding to her. If anything, he adored kits... Not surprising as he had raised so many of his own children... This little one was more than welcome in the Pride, a new female for Nadasaya, Sitian, Adelio and other's to play with... "Greetings Little Flame, welcome to Scarlet Shadows..."
He turned to Airithn, smiling at her. Somehow he had the feeling the Lady Airithn would be able to make herself comfortable anywhere... She just had that... Something... "Lady Airithn, Welcome to Scarlet Shadows.. It is a pleasure to see you again... I hope you'll enjoy being here... And the Pride is rather large, but I am well enough..."
He glanced around, wondering where Nox and Caedmon had gotten to.
Kalliska pranced to her father's side, giggling when he nuzzled her and swiped her cheek with his rough tongue. Her scarlet sire was her favorite parent by far, as her mother and brothers seemed to hardly ever be around.. She knew they were alive, for she could smell Llail and Fatale farther out in the land.. But they were never really there...

Airithn smiled at the male. "I will...its so much...warmer that my old home...I'm happy to be here." Her eye shined, as she looked over the large lands. It was truly a beautiful place, warm and loving. It seemed odd that Rellick had no queen...but she wouldn't ask, knowing old wounds cause much pain.

Kione nodded to the other princesses, her own little greeting. She wouldn't speak just yet, but she would soon. Standing up, she bowed over to the red male, knowing that he would be King of this pride.
Again, her cool voice slipped into his mind. Hello, King Rellick. I hope that my essence in this pride may be helpful to you. I am a shaman, if you cannot already tell. I wish to serve you and your pride well. Her tail curled a little, her head not rising until she was told to.
Kione was once in a pride such as this one and knew partly what to do. But, when it came dealing with the Royals, it was slightly different. Back home, it was mellow atmosphere, but there was still that sense of respect that she had to show. Hopefully it wouldn't be too different here.

Rellick nodded at Airithn. "Glad to hear it, Lady..."
He was sure at some point, one of the lionesses would ask him why there was no Queen.... And indeed that would be a long story.. A story that included his old mate.. His second King, the other sire of his children... And the different mothers... It was a long story, was Rellick's...
He turned to Kione, smiling. 'You are most welcome Lady Kione... A Shaman is much needed in this Pride.. We have one that visits from time to time, but she can only do so much... Please rise, we do not stand on too much ceremony here...'

Airithn smiled at the female. Kione was going to be a good friend...and a confidant...She had a feeling she would need it. "Rellick...I sence you need to let something out...Are you ok? " Her eyes softed slightly, as she stepped foward. Kione...I need to ask you something important.

Kione rose from her bowed position, nodding with respect. As she stepped back a little, she stopped when Airithn called to her. Flicking her tail, she nudged at Airithn gently, before walking back to her cool corner.
Yes? Ask away, Airithn. Kione said, licking at her paws. She had long since cut off from communication from the others, save for Airithn. So, everything the lioness said would be in complete confidence.

"Thank you for accepting me!" Flare mewed, and dipped her head again. The king looked really handsome, and he was very friendly. She would be more than happy to serve him when she could.

Rellick smiled and nodded at the sun-colored kitten. She was quite cute, and polite.. He liked that... Turning back to Airithn. He considered her words, smiling his best, reassuring smile. "I am quite well, Lady... Please, relax..."
He paced farther into the den, greeting his daughter and inquiring about his grand children. It was good to have so many newcommers in the Pride... To have so many cubs running around again...
He glanced about for Nox, wanting to speak to her...

Airithn smiled at Rellick, nodding, before turning her attention to Kione. can you tell me...why I feel like I run here...why I had to rush here...I had this feeling like I was needed...but Its clear i'm not...Why did I feel that? Its so confusing...She mentally sighed. This was far to much for her to worry about...

Kione gave an inward giggle only Airithn could hear. Maybe its because you are needed here. Just in a way you don't know yet. Remember, not everything is what they appear to be. Dig deeper; you'll find something out. And when you do, the answers shall be clear.
Her tail curled and uncurled as she yawned. The shaman was feeling quite tired, but she wanted to stay up and observe the pride some more. Especially now that everyone was together, she could get a feel of this place. Licking her muzzle, she rested her head on her forepaws looking over at Airithn with compassionate eyes.

Airithn sighed. Big help you are...She menatlly laughed, What can I do though? I know i won't be the queen...thats a given. I really have no idea....She eyed the female, you know...don't you?

Naharia softly reassured her father that his grand daughters were well, at the same time expressing worry for her son -who had wandered off- and her half brother -who seemed unwell-.... Her lovely eyes were troubled, and she asked her father if he had any idea what could be done to ease things....
Rellick shook his head, smiling reassuringly. He was quite sure Adelio couldn't get into much trouble, as it was far too long of a walk for a kit to get to the border of the Pride... He said as much, then turned his attention to Naharia's worry over Nitarin... Yes, he too worried about his Dusk Shadowed son...
"For now." He said softly, keeping his reply to his daughter's ears. "The comfort Nitarin finds is with his mate.. Let him have it... Later I will seek them out and see if I can talk to him..."
"I'm going to go hunting." Kalliska murmured to her father and sister, purring a soft farewell... "I'll check on Nitarin from a distance that way... And... You know..."
She shrugged. "See what I can see!"
With a farewell smile, she spun and pranced back out of the cave, off to find fresh meat... She had already brought down an antelope... How about zebra? Mmmm... Zebra... Definately.. Licking her chops, Kalliska headed out, eager for the hunt.

Caednom laid happily at his mothers side, belly up, paws stretched out as he napped with a full belly, the hints of a milk mustach curled around his muzzle , His paws twitched, here and there as he dreamed happily.
Nox rested in the shade outside of the den, it was so full of life, she kind of lost herself just watching. So many new comers like herself, and yet so many that had came here as cubs, and had stayed, she wouldnt ask her dear friend why there was no queen, knowing how it felt to have your heart broken. She yawned and smiled happily, her eyes caught the wiggling movement of a cub not to far off, seemed the small on was stalking her napping one. With a smile, she pretended not to notice him, knowing a good game with another would do her son well, specially with the loss of his sister. She sighed softly, and went back to watch the busy movement quietly, her eyes lingered on Rellick here and there, but usually she turned and watched it all.
He eyed the crimson marked cub, with a smirk, he pounced, and "attacked" his sleeping prey. He looked up at the unknown lioness, and gave a charming smile, before he gnawed on her son's ear with much vengence. "C'moooon wake up.." He pleaded now, thinking his own sisters and mother were still napping.
Caedmon woke with a slight start, notcing that it was only another cub, who wished to play. He tackled the young prince, with a playful growl. Attacking his flakes as they rolled together.
With a faint mewling roar, he clung to his now wrestling companion.

Jager returned to his post next to Jadera. His eyes closed as he curled up close to her resting. The big male often got tired during this time of day, but he was alert. His eyes just needed a little rest, that's all. Flicking tail, he brushed it against his mate's side. "So..." his deep voice rumbled. "How are things? We haven't talked much since you got home, my fault really.." The male trailed off, gray mane covering his eyes a little.
Kione giggled yet again. I only know that you are here for a reason. Come now, it wouldn't be any fun if I just straight up told you. She gave Airithn a gentle smile and shook her head. You will learn, I promise you that. After all, I only offer guidance, not straight answers. That's for you to figure out. Not me. Just do what your heart tells you. The answers will come to you.

Airithn felt like swatting the female. Fiiine fine. So you know i'm here for a reason...I just wish I knew what that reason was. The female laid her head on her paws and sighed out loud. I just wish I knew...
