As far as I know, at least in the English version they just still called him Bakura. I heard somewhere that his name was something like "Tou-zou-ku" - something that translated into "tapir" (some sort of animal with a funny nose - which is what the girl who mentioned it was compairing his nose to). But just about everybody I RPed with called him Akifa - I have no idea how that originated, but it is common...

Akeifa is a fanmade name, which Bakura is never called in the series ^__^;;. Even in Egypt, he's just called Bakura, I do believe. The Touzoukou name (which I probably just spelled wrong ^.^;; ), I think, has been verified in some way. A lot of people are really irked by Akeifa now though.
It shouldn't bother too many people if you really want to use it though.

Hey all, I am Ohkami. My favorite character on yuugiou is Yami no Yuugi/Atemu. My hobbies beyond yuugiou and roleplaying including reading, writing, surfing the net and playing duel monsters(Which is still sort of Yuugiou sweatdrop ). I have played Yami, Yuugi and Seto in rps, but I think I could do most other characters, I just have never tried them.
Why do these intros always feel so awkward? redface
And as Bakura's name Touzouku goes, it is actually a title which means something to the lines of king of thieves. He is still referred to as Bakura by most of the characters, but I think one or two of them in the show call him Touzouku...

Hii! I'm Chiihiya, though just 'Chii' or 'Dai' is fine. (Dai is my normal nickname online. But I figured I wouldn't be able to use that on Gaia, since it's too short and not unique enough.)
When YGO first started becoming popular, I kind of shied away from it. I usually do that with things that are becoming popular, possibly because I don't want to be just another part of the 'trend'. But last year I started getting really into it. (Well, technically two years ago, as it was around the beginning of last school year.)
Mokuba has become my favourite character, but I really love them all. I ship het pairings and yaoi pairings, and even yuri pairings (mainly Anzu/Shizuka). But my favourite pairings above all are Seto/Mokuba, Jou/Yuugi, and Atemu/Yuugi. (Seto/Kisara and Noa/Mokuba are also pretty close to the top. :3 ) Oh, yes, and I usually use Japanese names, just because I've always used them the most and it's what I'm used to now.
I usually RP Mokuba, but I can also RP Yuugi, Leon, and possibly others, but I haven't gotten the chance yet.
Wow, this is long. n_n; Anyway, I'm not much used to RPing on forums... I usually roleplay in an instant messenger, and in fact I've been RPing for going on six years now! Well, I hope to make new friends here, and maybe even some new role playing buddies! heart (By the way, if anyone's really interested in all the pairings I support--there are quite a few--just PM me and I'll give you the entire list of 'em!)

Hello i'm Tomb robber Bakura. You can use Tomb, Bakura, Baku, or Kura. any othe those are fine. I'm 18 and live in the boring part of California. Yugioh has to be one of my favorite animes of all time and i'm a complet obssesor over Bakura ((tomb robber, Ryou and yami)) I love to role play and I'm quite friendly. Funny story how i got into yugioh. I remeber seeing adds for it in magazens and i though it was going to be a lame show like pokemon or something. Then i got up one sateruday and i was bored so I watched it and I became hooked. may favorite anime though is Gundam wing and my favorite mangas are Dragon knights and tarot cafe.

I'm Draik, obviously. xD I have discovered this guild after countless attempts at finding YuuGiOu RPers, and am pleased to say I near fell out of my chair in join when I found this. Anyway..
I'm fifteen, live in the states, suffer from frequent idea over-loads, and am a Yami No Mariku RPer. Whoo!

Hello, my name is Akila! I'm 17, and I am indeed a girl. XD
Yu-gi-oh was my first big anime obsession, and I still love it to this day.
My favorite characters are Malik Ishtar, and Katsuya Jounouchi, but I really like a lot of other characters as well. (Even Anzu.)
I really love Yu-Gi-Oh Yaoi, and my favorite pairing is MalikxJou. heart Heh. I also really love the HondaxOtogi stories. I've roleplayed before, but I'm hoping I can improve my writing through this forum.
I like drawing, making up stories in my head, and being slighty emo xp But, I'm not too hard to get along with. (I hope) I also like making friends. (hint-hint)

Hello, my name is Sayo (ze kitsune) and I am very excited to be here. whee I have been a lover of YGO for five years now and I am very eager to be in a guild that literately RPs it. <333
I've never really been in a YGO roleplay before, but I do, of course, write fanfiction. The characters I'd like to play most are Ryou Bakura and Rex Raptor, but I like all of them. smile (Noa would be cool too, but he'd be a little hard to fit into a roleplay, ne? *rubs chin* Unless it was AU-style... *ponders*)
I'm a Creative Writing student, so sometimes I get really into it. xd So please ignore any crazy metaphors or the like that may pop out in my posts ever so often. That's... that's just me. I... I'm ridiculous. sweatdrop
(Question: Is anyone allowed to start their own thread? sweatdrop It seems I have come in rather of the midst of things and I was curious as to whether I was allow to or not...)
