I get to see the Golden Gate Bridge when I go to the dog park. mrgreen Even though it's alittle far away you can still see when it's not foggy or haze. xd

I guess if you post a pic like that of the lake. But if you walked to the beach where you live on a typical day, you find trash, kids, and dead lake creatures. Plus the picture can't show the smell. ninja

I think it smells, but she doesn't, only b-c she's used to it,m so she doesn't notice. The city beaches suck nuts, but the wilderness is different. The wilderness is so beautiful. mrgreen City people. stare

The beach is beautiful. Maybe it does smell, but I think the smell of water and sand is refreshing. Sure, it does smell like fish and oil occasionally, but come on, it's a lake with four thousand people (literally) on it. Yes, there's plenty of kids, and of course there's dead things, it is an environment after all. You're just a city kid and you're used to pools. The wilderness here is amazing though eek

The only time I go swimming is if I go camping because this camp place a swimming pool! mrgreen

I go swimming in the Colorado river alot - not a big fan of pools ( I know what little kids do in there)
