Sora smiled "yeah i guess that is true. it kinda adopted me though. and it hasn't specified it's name yet. i suppose that will happen when it's says or someone else names em..." he said quietly

Sora looked surprised. Someone actually wanted to name the kit. Eli had too, but then she died.
"Well... umm... Sure if you want to... And if it accepts it. i've been calling it kit for so long, that i'll keep calling him so. but feel free to name it anyways." He finally said, exsplaining himself.
The kit just sneezed, a fuzzle manageing to get up it's nose.

"Oh ummm...yeah he's hired. your room will be on the thrid floor...room 5 I believe. I would give you room four but all of Blackfeather's stuff is in there...her bedding and such..." Cat said trying not to act conspicuois.

Lykaios followed quietly behind Miss Cat, as she tried to blend. She tried to make it seem as if she was her niece, though she didn't really know how to make it seem that way. She had never really had family before, so she decided to do the first thing that came to mind, and that was pretend to be attached to Miss Cat, and afraid of everyone else she didn't know.

Kyna reached room 5 and took the cat off her shoulder, so she could give him to Sora when he finally caught up. "Your owner's slow, you know that?" she remarked to Griffin companionably.

"Not a problem," Kyna said. "I'm sure I'll see you later. We live in the same building, don't we?" She fluttered her eyelashes innocently, and slipped into her room before he could reply. Once inside, she sighed and leaned against the door heavily. The wind--which she'd come to the think or as her wind--swirled around her, obviously concerned. When it noticed that she wasn't particularly distressed, it started pulling at her hair and clothes. "Oh, don't be so silly," she said. "As if I could ever tear my self away from you." As if you'd leave me alone, she added silently, giggling. Kyna's hair whipped against her face. "Ow!" she exclaimed. "Quit that! I need to read, go find some other person to bug." There was a silent, thoughtful pause in the room. "If you even think about bugging Sora, I'll kill you," Kyna said absently, pulling her book out of her pack. "Or anyone else here. Or, for that matter, anyone else in town. Why don't you go pester the animals in the forest? They won't mind half as much as any human I've ever met." She was talknig to herself. And she knew it. Her wind had left at "anyone else here." Kyna rolled her eyes, muttered something about ill-behaved wind, and opened her book.

Sora watched the girl go, and let out a sigh, with the kit in his hand.
Like her do you? The kit asked suddenly.
Sora glared down at it. "What do you think smartass?" he said, suddenly slightly irritable that the kit would even think that, after all that had happened to the both of them.
The kit crouched down and slightly groveled. I'm sorry... I guess I was just hoping that maybe something might have changed after you were talking with that girl... it tried to exsplain.
Sora ran a hand over it's back, making it arch and purr a little hesitently. "Are you over losing her?" He asked quietly.
No... it said bowing it's head sadly.
"Then what makes you think that I have." Sora said quietly, holding back a tear. He then felt a breeze go by. Sora slightly twitched, as the kit just meowed slightly sad still.
"Come on... we need to get settled in, and then we have to see what they hired us for...." Sora said, walking with the kit into their room, and closing the door behind them.
