Tethys only dances... not true, if you steal Stones from Gorgons, and get her to use them, then she can learn dark magic the animation goes though her dance and right when the hem of her scarf touches the ground then the attack pattern starts for whatever spell she has equipped, she holds her bow pose thoughout the attack sequence. does that help?
