"Indeed it is."
Natasha grinned then clapped her hands suddenly,
"Now, I think you might want to see why I chose these people to be in my crew...when I could have had most of Tortuga."
She said excitedly.
"Maria, seductive and deadly. I wouldn't advise that you go anywhere near her, she's poison...quite litterally. One drop of her saliva is enough to kill a whale and her blood is a very powerful acid. She gives the kiss of death to anyone foolish enough to fall for her outstanding beauty and charm."
Maria winks at Kibo and blows a kiss at him,
"Scar, one of the deadliest assassins in Tortuga. Although he looks huge he moves with the agility of a cat. Able to use any weapon ever created with amazing skill and deadly aim....he's the person who taught me how to properly aim my daggers when throwing them. He's a huge killing machine."
Scar flexes the huge muscles on his arms and emmits a low threatening growl,
"And finally, Joseph, a great navigator...able to get any ship to anywhere you wish it to be. Can decipher any map or chart placed before him and is amazing at plotting battle tactics. Famously beat 100 soldiers from the English Royal Navy with 10 beggars from the streets of Tortuga. Good for conversation and great at chess."
Joseph smiles, happy with his introduction.
Natasha grins.
"And they're all willing to die for me."
She looked at Kibo, making sure her face was hidden from the others, her expression turning to great sadness and regret at the thought of leading these people, these friends, to their deaths in a battle they couldn't possibly win.

Kibo noticed Natasha's grief ridden face, and nods.
Kibo: Don't worry about them. I'll give 'em a few different markings. This'll automatically raise them if they die. Although, they'll be raised in the captain's quarters of the Godspeed, which isn't in the battle. Your markings will allow you to never have to leave the battle. If they die, they'll be removed from the battle.
Kibo walks up to each, planting his mark on a different part of each's body; Jospeh's forehead, Scar's bicep, and Maria's lips. They all fade out of sight, and Kibo nods.
Kibo: There, done.
He wipes his fingers off on the dirt. He wasn't sure what would happen after he touched Maria, so he figured he's play it safe.

Natasha smiled at Kibo silently thanking him.
She looked up at her mark, still burning fiercely above her. She clicked her fingers and it began to shrink into the form of a woman which was lowered onto the deck. As the woman got closer she was instantly recognised as Amber, the phoenix.

Kibo: Well hello there. I take it, what with being a phoenix and all, a mark would be like giving a hammer to a blacksmith.

Amber smiles.
"I have my own ways of cheating death."

Kibo: Like the fact you're a flipping phoenix?
He chuckles.

Zia and Maida were hopping up and down with pure, unadoterated excitment then.
"We've never," "Had a friend," "Who was a phoenix before!"
