Its on Chapter 376 right now. It has been revealed that the leader is Pain. Nothing more to argue here.
Oh, Madara is dead, I go with the Tobi/Obito theory. It can't be Madara because that was hundreds of years ago.
1. Same hair.
2. He has the Sharingan on his RIGHT side only because Kakashi has the other eye on the left.
3. Um..well...lets see..the NAME sounds so much alike.
4. It is possible he survived. They never actually showed him DEAD, nor that his body was ever retrieved.
5. Tobi acts exactly like Obito.

hmm.. But I also agree with the theory that Obito is Tobi. You just read the name backwards tobi - O just dropped down the letter O. He also acts like Obito and seems to attracted to Kakashi!!!! mrgreen mrgreen mrgreen

I also can't believe that Jiraiya lost. He's powerful enough and he taught Pein. Im so sad!!

So, has everyone read the story behind Madara? Itachi mentioned it in the Manga during his fight with Sasuke. It's very interesting. Check it out.

SketchxNinja Hey GS I think it would be cool if it was Madara but I think it is a future version of Naruto...that is why he is in a future looking city in this pic from the manga  , he also has incredible techinques and we all know Naruto has unlimited potential, can also be why he is obsessed with capturing the Jinchuuriki, and just giving all these excuses why (ransoming the ninja nations...)I think he at some point loses control of Kyuubi and destroys Konoha and is stuck alone, with his burden that becomes an obsession of setting things right.Naruto creates his technique so not only clone, and communicate, telepathically, but travel back and fix all that he has lost, you only see one Akatsuki ever with him, (the shadowed figure) it might be Sakura and she helped him so that they achieve or at least see their past selves achieve their ultimate goal of saving Sasuke...and that is why he needs to stop himself so that when it does happen the Kyuubi and it's infinite rage and some type of hate for Uchiha will not ruin everything...I actually am still working on this theory but here it is...tell me what you think. you are really insane but that WOULD be cool

The message was read, but still not understood... What will happen now. Will Naruto leave before Pein arrives? Madara is the famous leader of Akatsuki and Pein is the most powerfull member as it seems so far. Sasuke and team Hawk wearing Akatsuki colors was cool and the Hachibi looks freaking awesome.

Uchiha Madara is the founder of Akatsuki and the man who trained Itachi, though he spends most of his time disguised as Tobi. He's also one of Konoha's original founders and the one controlling Akatsuki from behind the scenes.
